New restaurant in Westminster and it's so good! Also very good pricing. It's so hard to find food at a decent price now. I enjoyed the bánh canh and my mom enjoyed the pho Thai. Would get it again for sure!

Ordered Bun Rieu - 3.5 Value - varies Broth- Slightly on the sweeter side from the tomatoes. Definitely requires shrimp paste to adjust for taste. Veggies are fresh. 14.99 a bowl is definitely higher over here as the proteins given aren't justified. You really get four micro sized fried tofu pieces, 2 mini pork paste balls, 1 blood cube, and some crab rieu. I recommend people who want to save some money and feed a small family of three then order from their special " buy 2 get 1 free deals". Output time is decent along with good service. No long waits as was only diner at 11 am.

I was excited to return to Sao Bien for a bowl of bún bò Huế, but today's experience was disappointing. We ordered two bowls for our party of three, as my 97-year-old grandfather cannot finish a full portion. At other restaurants this has never been an issue. When we asked for an extra bowl to share, we were given a tiny disposable paper bowl--smaller than the soup spoon itself. When we requested a proper bowl, we were told it was against "policy" since the kitchen is separate from the restaurant. This explanation felt unreasonable and made what should have been a simple, enjoyable meal unnecessarily frustrating.

Great food, fast service, and price very reasonable. I wish there are more restaurants like this. The server is very friendly too.

Service was good, our waiter recommended the clams and also a vegetable dish (not pictured) that we saw everyone ordering. Everything tasted authentic, fresh and amazing! The broth for the clams was so light with a hint of garlic/butter and spice- highly recommend. I would definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

Saw this on yelp and just happened to be in the Little Saigon area. Parking was no issue since it's located in a large strip center. Yelp reviews suggested the crawfish and yelpers were correct. This entree was outstanding! We also ordered Ala carte clams, catfish soup and claypot fish. Everything was fresh tasting, piping hot and flavorful. Definitely recommend checking out this establishment if you're in the neighborhood.

    Bun bo hue, so good!

We loved our meal here at Sao Bien! Note, it is cash only but there is an ATM in the restaurant. The dining space is about medium-sized I would say, but as a party of 2 we didn't need a reservation. The menu here is quite extensive, which is awesome. I got the Bun Bo Hue here, and it was phenomenal. Plus, the restaurant's chili sauce was insanely spicy but still so very flavorful. The service was great, and the meal was overall wonderful and very enjoyable. The restaurant is part of a major strip mall complex, so there is plentiful parking in the area. I highly recommend coming here!

My girlfriend and I always go here for the buy 2 get 1 free soup special. Bun mam is always my go to, its very flavorful but not overkill. Other bún dishes are also decent as well. Since it's only the 2 of us most of the time we can't really do cơm phần gia đình, but that's something we would like to try one of these day. Only complaint is we were charged $1.75 for each hot tea

Came here to dine with my family while visiting in Bolsa! There are raving reviews for sao bien, especially their seafood dishes so we had to hop on that :) They were very busy with one woman rushing around, it got to the point where she gave us her notepad to write down our orders HAHA However, our orders still came out in a timely manner. All the doors were open so it was a bit chilly, but it makes sense since the space is a little cramped I ordered the bo luc lac, which I'll admit, isn't as great as the other places i've been to that serves this dish. The pieces are a bit smaller but it was still very flavorful with the chilis that they provide on the side. The oysters were huge and delicious! I really love how they gave us more than the dozen we ordered with extra limes on top. The crawfish was super meaty and fresh. The sauce was *chefs kiss* over rice, we also got mayonnaise on the side which made it even better. Would definitely come back for the seafood!

    Great food and service!!

I see they have more desserts. They must be really good, for sure! Khloe and everyone was courteous. Give it a try! Everything you order seems to be full of flavor:)

Slice House by Tony Gemignani - Fountain Valley Rating:…read more(3/5) I ordered the 12-inch New York Traditional with no substitutions, and honestly this was a pretty conflicting experience. First off, aesthetically? The pizza looks fantastic. The crust has a great bake on it, the pepperoni cups nicely, and the dough itself is clearly made with care. You can absolutely tell there's skill behind the bread component of this pizza. The crust alone might've been the best part of the entire experience. It had flavor, texture, and that proper chew you want from a New York-style pie. But the balance completely fell apart for me. The biggest issue is the overwhelming amount of pepperoni combined with an aggressively heavy sauce presence. Every bite turned into salt on top of salt on top of more salt. The pepperoni completely dominated the pizza to the point where I could barely taste anything else. The sausage might as well not have been there because there were only a few pieces scattered around, and the cheese flavor got entirely buried underneath the sauce and pepperoni overload. It honestly felt less like a balanced pizza and more like a pepperoni delivery system. What makes this frustrating is that underneath all of that excess, you can tell the actual pizza fundamentals are strong. The dough is legitimately good. The crust has character. If the toppings had even slightly more restraint and balance, this probably could have been a much stronger experience. At around $30 for a small pizza, though, expectations naturally go up. Especially when the branding leans heavily into the "world's best pizza" reputation. For that price point, I expected a more refined balance between sauce, cheese, meat, and crust instead of one ingredient bulldozing the rest of the pie. Honestly, if the crust and dough quality weren't as good as they were which tells me the pizza's dough in generally is a hit, this probably lands closer to a 2.5 for me. Final verdict: Beautiful crust and genuinely strong dough completely overshadowed by an excessive amount of salty pepperoni and overpowering sauce. 3/5 -- solid pizza fundamentals buried under poor topping balance.
