I've also had Alex come out and he is fantastic as well. I needed to have a pump replaced and a part in my heater done. Not only did they diagnose it, but the guys also caught some problems and fix them proactively without an extra charge. They're scheduling system and payment system are automated and very efficient and easy to navigate. Appointments are made promptly and you were able to confirm from your phone. I explained the problem as we got to the pool shed and he solved it in five minutes. i was fearing that my Compool controller would have to be replaced, but in fact, the whole problem was that a switch on one of the valves was in the wrong position. i have no idea how it got switched. When they clean the filter, rather than have the debris go into a portion of the yard that will not damage anything (there is an open dirt space 2 feet away) they clean on the pea gravel pathway into the yard which is also a dog run. Every 4 weeks I clean up and remove debris and add new pea gravel. I finally complained and the response was a big so what. I can't imagine anyone would want that debris dumped on the pathway to the yard. Once brought to their attention you would think they would apologize and make it right- no way. response was "your pool needs the filter cleaned every 4 week because it gets dirty fast" ok - that has nothing to do with the issue blame the client. not a good company to deal with.

When I have called Peninsula Pool & Spa in the past for help with issues with my pool/pool system (pumps, heater, etc.) they have always responded to request quickly. They have a professional yet personable way about themselves which makes talking to and working with them a positive experience. I will hopefully be able to reach them in the future. I will go to them first as long as they're in business. And, I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks. They've helped me with four (4) issues specifically: 1. HEATER: My pool heater wasn't working properly - they inspected and provided feedback/recommendation on next steps (they came onsite for this) 2. CONNECTING HOSE: A hose from my pool pump and cleaner pump needed to be replaced - they asked for pics then guided me through the process of buying and installing the parts myself 3. PVC PIPE REPLACEMENT: The same hose was connected to an elbow joint that cracked - again, they explained exactly how to remove the elbow joint, add contact cement, and install a new elbow joint - step by step over the phone and via text message 4. PUMP: My pool pump wouldn't start - they explained that I needed to prime it with water - easy fix (they came onsite for this) I've listed 4 issues they've helped me with and 2 of 4 they helped at no cost without even coming onsite. This is a business I want to maintain a relationship with. OUTSTANDING! I would give them more stars if I could.

So this was all brand new to me. Homan arrived at my place to do an inspection but saw that I was in the middle of move. He remembered my home and said that he recalled an inspection was already done; what honesty! Furthermore, I told him that owning a spa was completely new to me. While the movers were moving stuff into my new home, Homan spent the time to show me how to test the water for PH, alkaline and chlorine. He was so gracious and answered all of my questions. I told him that I still wanted someone to come out to empty the water, clean the spa, refill the water and test the chemicals so that I was sure it was clean. He knew I was only at this home once a month and said when I was ready to do this job to call them. I did and Sergio and Aurelio arrived today showing me step by step how to empty the water, making sure everything electrical was unplugged first, the cleaning process of the tub and 3 filters, refilling the water and retest for chemicals. Even learning how to put the cover back on was a procedure (not just lowering the cover but that there was a lever to pull first). These guys were so professional, helpful and very friendly.
