Carlos was a pleasure to work with. He met me in the evening outside of his normal work hours for a quote which I appreciated very much. He's very knowledgeable about trees and I learned as well about the types of trees I didn't know I had. They are busy and so the turnaround time for a quote took a bit longer than I expected but nothing a couple of reminder texts and patience couldn't fix. The quote was professionally done and itemized by tree and quantity. They are licensed and bonded. I verified myself. You just never know, accidents happen. The crew was punctual and by 730am they started. By 1230pm the job was done (including clean up). Carlos texted me progress photos throughout the day which I appreciated greatly. As they trimmed the trees, he let me know another tree was dying bc it was hidden at the time of when we did the quote. Understandable since we met in the evening so it was starting to get dark and towards the end we used the flashlight on our phones to see. He gave me a couple options on how to proceed with the dying tree. He also noticed that my gutters were full of leaves and clogging my drain which he cleaned. I appreciated that very much. Communication is key and Carlos's communication was as I would expect from a professional - Excellent. For payment, I really liked that he said I could go check out the work first to ensure I was happy with the work before payment. I went out to the property two days later. I was very impressed on how nice my backyard looked! My trees were in need of a serious trim. He took payment over the phone. Note there is a fee for using credit card if you choose that method. They gave me a window, was out in the middle of it, (I forgot when the window was and they called me back to remind me.) Very polite. We called Santana tree service for an estimate to remove a tree he responded very quickly. I took pictures of my tree and trunk of the tree and sent them to him. He gave me a estimate and I hired him. They were here on time to remove the tree they had it cut down and removed the stump in 2 1/2 hours. Carlos came to check out the next day to see what needed to be done and gave me a quote. They were here in 4 days to do the work (there was a weekend between that time). They were very professional and detailed. They took care of a large tree in the front of our house, two large trees in the backyard, dug up to volunteer trees along with removing branches and a stump that were previously left by someone else. I had the pleasure oof working with these gentlemen after seeing their glowing reviews on yelp. I requested a quote through my yelp app and they responded within minutes. I had a large stump and a bush removed from my backyard to prepare for our swimming pool installation. They quoted me $250 which was much less than I was expecting. Job is done and we are happy. I have to go a step further and say that the gentlemen who I assume owns the company is likely one of the nicest people you will ever meet. It's obvious customer service is his top priority and it shows in the way they do business. We have 2 huge 30 year old eastern Red Oak trees and a Sycamore. The Oaks are over 50 feet tall and hanging over the house and hitting the roof. Way more than I could handle. We wanted the Oaks trimmed way back and the Sycamore removed. We got 3 bids. The other 2 did not seem interested or able to do the job we wanted nor were they bonded or insured. One bid was higher than Santana's, the other lower. Carlos clearly understood what we wanted and bid accordingly. He explained everything he would do, and indeed performed any and all parts of the bid as described. They worked for 2 days and left the yard cleaned up. The price was very reasonable considering all the work they performed. Carlos was easy to deal with and payed attention to what we wanted. Doesn't get much better than that! read more

First an huge thank you to the Yelp community! Your reviews are a great help in finding excellence in the sea of mediocrity! I thought I needed several trees trimmed including an overgrown monster at our new house. I contacted Santana's and set an appointment for an estimate. They showed up for the estimate right on time and explained that sadly the monster tree needed to be removed and the remainder could be trimmed. They emailed a very reasonable estimate the next day and we set a date for the removal/trimming. They arrived at the quoted time and date and got right to work. The monster tree was on the property line with our neighbor and I warned him of the work. Santana's crew not only worked to make our property look great at the end but made sure the neighbor's yard looked great as well. They gave me some great tips on caring for the trees that remain as well. One issue that came up is that their stump grinder was in the repair shop - so no payment accepted until the work is completed! You don't hear that very often! All the five star reviews are well earned and we will call them anytime we need tree trimming work! read more

We had two huge (10-ft tall +) Oleanders to remove in our backyard. Jose returned my initial voicemail within a few hours, scheduled a site visit & quote for that afternoon, arrived on time, answered all our questions, quoted a reasonable price, and scheduled our job within the week. The day of the job, the crew was on time, setup quickly, worked quietly & respectfully (it was 7:00 am), and within a few hours had the bushes removed and stumps dug out - without causing damage to the nearby tree.
