Carlos was a pleasure to work with. He met me in the evening outside of his normal work hours for a quote which I appreciated very much. He's very knowledgeable about trees and I learned as well about the types of trees I didn't know I had. They are busy and so the turnaround time for a quote took a bit longer than I expected but nothing a couple of reminder texts and patience couldn't fix. The quote was professionally done and itemized by tree and quantity. They are licensed and bonded. I verified myself. You just never know, accidents happen. The crew was punctual and by 730am they started. By 1230pm the job was done (including clean up). Carlos texted me progress photos throughout the day which I appreciated greatly. As they trimmed the trees, he let me know another tree was dying bc it was hidden at the time of when we did the quote. Understandable since we met in the evening so it was starting to get dark and towards the end we used the flashlight on our phones to see. He gave me a couple options on how to proceed with the dying tree. He also noticed that my gutters were full of leaves and clogging my drain which he cleaned. I appreciated that very much. Communication is key and Carlos's communication was as I would expect from a professional - Excellent. For payment, I really liked that he said I could go check out the work first to ensure I was happy with the work before payment. I went out to the property two days later. I was very impressed on how nice my backyard looked! My trees were in need of a serious trim. He took payment over the phone. Note there is a fee for using credit card if you choose that method. In a heartbeat I would choose Santana Tree Trimming again! read more

I contacted them, and they responded to my message to send some pictures. I sent 3 photos and never heard back from them. I chose Santanas because of 5 star reviews. For me, no response back should be zero star. read more

Great customer service. A bad storm dropped a big limb from my tree. Santana's tree was able to come out to resolve our issue in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. Carlos provided excellent communication, advice, and service. I will be reaching out to Santana's in the future, and would recommend their services to others. read more

Santana's Tree Trimming - A+ - Tree Services Near Me - Lodi, California

The job was done in less than a week, came out on Thursday and gave me a quote then was out the next week to get the job done. They gave me a window, was out in the middle of it, (I forgot when the window was and they called me back to remind me.) Very polite. Two large mulberry trees next to my house are over grown and I needed the limbs trimmed from off the roof and the sides of the house. They were quick and efficient and the trees look great! read more

We had a great experience using Santana's tree service. They gave a fair price, showed up on time, and did great work. They had good communication throughout the entire process and left the yard cleaner than when they started. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone else. read more

We called Santana tree service for an estimate to remove a tree he responded very quickly. I took pictures of my tree and trunk of the tree and sent them to him. He gave me a estimate and I hired him. They were here on time to remove the tree they had it cut down and removed the stump in 2 1/2 hours. I wanted the wood so they carried it to the spot I wanted it. They cleaned up and were gone. I recommend them for all of my friends and relatives. Great job Carlos!!, read more

Called a few tree trimming companies and those who did respond were way too expensive but Santana's Tree Trimming gave a quote that I couldn't say no to. The day of the project the worker (Sorry, I forgot his name) showed on time and had the job completed and cleaned up in timely manner. I was very impressed. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Knowledgeable and quick communication. However, I wanted the tree trimmed about 3-4 feet shorter. And left a bit of mess in the gutter and sidewalk for me to clean up. For the price I assumed the area would be cleaned thoroughly. read more

Carlos and the crew were great. Very reasonably priced. I reached out via Yelp and had a response within a few hours. Carlos came to check out the next day to see what needed to be done and gave me a quote. They were here in 4 days to do the work (there was a weekend between that time). They were very professional and detailed. They took care of a large tree in the front of our house, two large trees in the backyard, dug up to volunteer trees along with removing branches and a stump that were previously left by someone else. They also helped move my brother in law's car from the driveway to the other side of the street for me since it wasn't running so the branches and everything wouldn't hit his car. I would definitely use Santana's Tree Trimming again! read more

I loved the work Santana's did in my backyard and you will too. They were on time, professional and went above and beyond. I've been putting it off for years because I was scared of the cost and being taken advantage of, but so glad I called Santana's. Carlos is very knowledgeable and was able to give me some great pointers. read more

Carlos and his crew did a great job for us on our property in Lodi twice. They did good work on the trees, cleaned up, stacked cuttings as requested and even sent me images of roof damage (not related to their work) that needed attention. We recommend them. read more

Great experience from beginning to end. I had previously done my own tree trimming & paid neighbors to help me. The quote I got, initially made me pause. I decided to try it. Was worth every penny. Arrived on time, completed the work quicker than estimated. 110% cleaned up, included the leaves that I had previously piled up in the street and, as requested, protected all of the sensitive plants that are under the tree. I'm booking for next year! read more

I rarely give 5 stars but Carlos and his team make it easy! Carlos is quick to respond, very friendly and professional and did a great job for a very fair price! When they came to do the work they were very quick, and cleaned up well. I will use Santana's for any future needs! read more

I had the pleasure oof working with these gentlemen after seeing their glowing reviews on yelp. I requested a quote through my yelp app and they responded within minutes. I had a large stump and a bush removed from my backyard to prepare for our swimming pool installation. They quoted me $250 which was much less than I was expecting. Job is done and we are happy. I have to go a step further and say that the gentlemen who I assume owns the company is likely one of the nicest people you will ever meet. It's obvious customer service is his top priority and it shows in the way they do business. They are a grandfather/grandson team and I felt comfortable with them working in my yard while I was at work as well. I really can't say enough nice things about these folks. I'm a customer for life. read more

Don Jose and his family are punctual, fair priced, and do an excellent job! I have used them on several occasions and they leave the area clean as a whistle. The last job they did was a tree removal of a tree that had fallen after a storm. I called and Don Jose came that very day to see the project, give a quote and a time. The next day, they arrived and were gone in 20 minutes leaving the area debris free. I will definitely use them I. The future to tend to my tree trimming needs! read more

Carlos was very reliable and knowledgeable. Gave us a fair price upfront. He even assisted us on his day off! Will definitely use their services in the future. read more

From the start to the end of my service, everything was excellent! I spoke with Carlos who came out to give me a quote and perform the service I needed. He came out the same day I called for a quote! I will definitely go with these guys again for future tree trimming services! read more

Love supporting Lodi local and this one did not disappoint. Carlos is the man, communication and knowledge is top notch in my opinion. I could not be more pleased with the professional tree service I received. Carlos came over promptly and supplied me with a reasonable estimate. He then did me a huge favor, upon request, and scheduled me in earlier than normal. They trimmed a tree, cut down a tree, and took care of quite a few tree "volunteers". Thanks for everything, Carlos! read more

They showed up as scheduled, did the work, cleaned up, and charged a fair price. What's not to like?

We have 2 huge 30 year old eastern Red Oak trees and a Sycamore. The Oaks are over 50 feet tall and hanging over the house and hitting the roof. Way more than I could handle. We wanted the Oaks trimmed way back and the Sycamore removed. We got 3 bids. The other 2 did not seem interested or able to do the job we wanted nor were they bonded or insured. One bid was higher than Santana's, the other lower. Carlos clearly understood what we wanted and bid accordingly. He explained everything he would do, and indeed performed any and all parts of the bid as described. They worked for 2 days and left the yard cleaned up. The price was very reasonable considering all the work they performed. Carlos was easy to deal with and payed attention to what we wanted. Doesn't get much better than that! read more

Carlos and his team of Juan and Martha did an excellent job of removing a huge tree from my backyard. Every part of their service was top notch - initial consultation, excellent service, the final photo of the tree removed and recommendations for additional tree care. We were very happy with the service we got from Santana's tree trimming. They were on time, very careful, and did a terrific job cutting down our 60' eucalyptus. They also did a great job cleaning up and their price were quite reasonable. We will definitely be calling them again next year to do some more of our trees. (They are very nice too!) read more

Carlos showed up on time and did an amazing job. He trimmed 5 trees and left everything spotless. I will definitely be contacting him again.

Carlos and his family did an excellent job cleaning up my fruit trees, and cleaning up the mess! His grandfather is a charmer and they are all hard working men. They were fast, efficient and reliable. I have their card on my fridge for future jobs! Highly recommended. read more

I had Carlos come by the house today to check out a tree that was overgrowing onto my roof. Communication with him had been great and he came on time as promised. He wasn't able to do the job, but I appreciate how professional and honest he was. I'd rather have someone tell me they can't guarantee a great job and not do it, rather than pretend that they can and damage my house. I'll definitely be calling Carlos back should I have any other tree services I need done in the future. read more

Awesome business! I contacted them and they got right back to me and arranged a time come out and quote me on tree cutting. Their prices are competitive and fair. A very friendly and professional business. And they did an awesome job with cutting my trees back. Highly recommend! read more

Can't say enough about Carlos's friendly, and knowledgeable attitude. His crew was efficient and best of all, they cleaned up the job site spotlessly. Less work for me. I have recommended them to other friends who have also been highly pleased with their work. Highly recommend~!!! read more

These guys are awesome!!! I asked them to trim a large tree in a small backyard. They were conscious of their surroundings and did an excellent job. The whole crew was very friendly and professional. I definitely will call them again. read more

First an huge thank you to the Yelp community! Your reviews are a great help in finding excellence in the sea of mediocrity! I thought I needed several trees trimmed including an overgrown monster at our new house. I contacted Santana's and set an appointment for an estimate. They showed up for the estimate right on time and explained that sadly the monster tree needed to be removed and the remainder could be trimmed. They emailed a very reasonable estimate the next day and we set a date for the removal/trimming. They arrived at the quoted time and date and got right to work. The monster tree was on the property line with our neighbor and I warned him of the work. Santana's crew not only worked to make our property look great at the end but made sure the neighbor's yard looked great as well. They gave me some great tips on caring for the trees that remain as well. One issue that came up is that their stump grinder was in the repair shop - so no payment accepted until the work is completed! You don't hear that very often! All the five star reviews are well earned and we will call them anytime we need tree trimming work! read more

I called to get an estimate for a tree removal. Santana showed up on time and quoted me a reasonable fee. I accepted his estimate and scheduled the work to be done beginning at 7:30 in the morning on a Tuesday. He and his crew of two arrived promptly at 7:30. They worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job in one hour. Everything was cut up and hauled away, and all that was left behind was a small amount of saw dust. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of a tree removal. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience. Responsive, prompt, professional, reasonable prices, great clean up - every detail about this experience was top-notch. We had two huge (10-ft tall +) Oleanders to remove in our backyard. Jose returned my initial voicemail within a few hours, scheduled a site visit & quote for that afternoon, arrived on time, answered all our questions, quoted a reasonable price, and scheduled our job within the week. The day of the job, the crew was on time, setup quickly, worked quietly & respectfully (it was 7:00 am), and within a few hours had the bushes removed and stumps dug out - without causing damage to the nearby tree. They hauled away the debris and cleaned up very nicely. Before leaving, Jose checked to make sure we were happy with the work - a sign of true customer service. I fully intend to use Santana's Tree Service for future needs. read more
