You will never leave hungry from this place. The burgers are huge but well priced. There are a lot of fresh smoothies to choose from and a lot of healthy menu options too. Sometimes I just go to pick up some freshly baked bread. The general crowd there are friendly locals with a lot of Brazilians, which makes sense since it's a Brazilian place, so since they come so much you know that means the food is authentic and tasty! Parking can be tough so be prepared to either walk a bit or find creative parking spots on sidewalks and/or side streets. read more

I am in absolute love with this place. I come here as a regular and never have written a review. I always get the Acai bowl because it is just to die for. This Brazillian joint has a variety of food and the BEST sandwiches/burgers. I even bought a chicken broccoli alfredo one time and it was the best I have ever had at any restaurant. The workers here are just so welcoming and nice. My personal favorite is the Coxhina with cheese! The plate of the day is such a value I highly recommend that as well. What seemed like an honest attempt to try new food in the neighborhood proved to be a dangerous abyss of flavorful sandwiches, mouth watering sweets, fresh breads, and friendly service within miles of my home. Today I accepted that gaining a few pounds is a small price to pay for satiating my future Santana cravings. On a Sunday around 1pm this small cafe was bustling with the locals. You know you've chosen wisely when Portuguese-speaking families line the counter for a Sunday lunch or late breakfast. While in line I perused the packaged fresh bread section. $4.50 gets you a large loaf with coconut and condensed milk flavors. I knew I came for lunch but it was hard to look at the screen menu when all those pastries were staring me in the face. I ordered the X-Colinha (sp?)...all I knew is that it was under $6 and had chicken...so why not? My husband opted for the X-Salada, the hamburger. We paid at the counter where the lady asked my name and got us some waters. We found a two-top and waited momentarily while watching all the other hot plates coming out of the kitchen. A server brought out our plates but I soon realized I got a fish entree... just a minute later the other server called me by name and took the wrong order and replaced it with my chicken sandwich. Great service! Now, this is not your ordinary chicken sandwich. Served on a freshly baked puffy, buttery bun are some unexpected ingredients (for someone that hasn't had Brazilian food, anyway). Flavorful chicken breast, sliced lettuce, corn, peas, tomato, ham, and cheese create the perfect bite. Even though I was full we had to take home some sweets to try. I wished they had some labels for the bakery items for first-timers like me. We chose two items that are very similar to Chilean pastries my husband grew up with. One we call "brazo de reina," or a jelly roll...light cake rolled into a caramel filling with coconut. The other in Chile is called "berlin," or berliner... not sure what they call it here but it's similar to a custard filled donut. So good! And for around $6 for the two and two bomboms, you can't complain. I will return... and so should you! read more

I've been craving brazilian goodies for monthssss. particularly coxinhas. i've been meaning to stop by here but didn't get a chance until today. boy, do I regret not stopping by sooner! The girl who helped me at the register was very friendly and explained each of the fried food items in the top glass case to me. I really appreciated her help, as well as the gentleman behind me in line. Furthermore, I wish all the items in the glass cases had tags with a small explanation of what each item is (and how much). Although the staff looks happy to help, I feel that it would be a lot easier on everyone if there were tags. I wish I could've asked about all the other items in the bigger glass cases (which looked like sweets, etc.) but I didn't want to back up the line any more than I already did. I felt a bit pressured and just went with the first few items the girl pointed out to me. Maybe I can catch a time when they're not so busy and take my time? read more

This place is always packed with Brazilians night and day. Even 10:30pm families, couples, young and old, all of them gather here for good food. Could be slightly crowded and loud. Most servers behind counter speak very little English or none. I usually just point at the pastry or food I want to try/order. That would work. Love love love this place. read more

The place is very busy. Service is okay and you'll be under pressure to choose and pay right away. Coxinha and Ham and cheese risole: a bit on the greasy side but good. Coxinhas Lack a bit of parsley give it some taste. The risole was excellent (a bit greasy as I mentioned). The chicken empanada: dry and doesn't have much taste. The cheese pastel is too big, greasy, and mine had a weird taste. The small bite cookies with guava are very good, that's the only thing that's worth the visit. read more

Spacious place for breakfast. Offers some parking off the street. Took the parents when they were visiting from California to try something different. Dad ordered a big burger with corn and peas. He loved it and ate the whole thing. Mom ate an empanadas which was also good. I had the acai bowl large. It took the longest to come out, hence the 4 stars. It was a little frozen but yummy with bananas and strawberry drizzled with honey. Other than the wait for the bowl, the place was great for Friday breakfast. Would go again and get some plantains. They also have a great selection of baked Brazilian goods and cookies. Everyone speaks Portuguese, a little Spanish, and English which is cool. read more

Best Acai -- Best Prices! I am an avid Santana's fan! They have a huge selection of foods and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also carry a full assortment of delicious desserts. They give you huge servings at extremely reasonable prices. My favorite thing that they serve is the acai bowl. It's really hard to find good acai outside of Brazil but this place is the best by far. You can customize your order any way you like it and they consistently deliver a good bowl. On top of all that, I really like the people who own/work at Santana's. I go in there often enough that I've gotten to know some of them and they are always friendly and happy to see me return. read more

This is an awesome Brazilian Cafe with good service. You walk-in, get in line to order your food, if you want to sit down you can or just wait along the side for your take-out. When your order is ready, someone will call your name and they'll bring your food to you. I feel bad for the workers because they aren't tipped for their service because they aren't technically your server, but they do bus plates afterwards. Their plate of the day consists of many options, their (Angel?) cakes on the side are cheap and there is a variety of them. There are also many tempting Brazilian candies on the side in front of the cashier and really good drinks in the fridge. read more

Finally some place nice and affordable on Main St. in West Everett! Before this place the only choices I had within walking distance to my place in the Village was the Continental Bakery and Main st pizzeria and though I do like thier pizza & subs I was happy to find Santana's. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and are open first thing in the morning until 11-12 at night depending on the day. I have yet to try thier deserts or baked goods but everything there looked very good and I will likely be trying one of thier french bread sandwiches on my next visit. read more

Wow! You gotta try this place!!! The only way it could be more perfect is if it were open 24hrs! Although, 5am - Midnight isn't bad. Having moved up from NJ, I'd seen my fair share of top-notch diners, and aside from some lacking hours, and slightly smaller dinner menu, this place can easily compete with all of them. I stumbled on to this place when I decided to hunt for Chinese food on foot. At first glance, I thought it was a bakery; rows of fresh bread by the window, pastries under the glass to the right of the register, cakes and pies under the glass next to the left and people sitting at tables with cups of coffee. I look up to take note of the name, and noticed it said cafe so I decided to go in. Upon entering Santana's I was surprised to see an extensive menu nicely laid out above the register. It was spaciously laid out with with brand new furnishings, and very clean, without a single fingerprint on the glass showcases or refrigerators. I recognized a lot of the food options from Latin cuisine (fried plantains, flan, empanadas etc.) but the large Brazilian sandwich collection clued me in that I should expect different. At the counter, I was greeted with what I could only guess was Portuguese, then Spanish, then the cashier switched out so that my order could be taken in English. I played it safe to start with, getting the flan, and a chicken burrito. Upon getting home I was shocked to see that my burrito actually came with fries and a salad for only $6.50!!! WTF? how is this possible, even the food trucks at work aren't this cheap! Moreover, the chicken was seasoned in this yellow sauce that made it task amazing! Aside from it's enormous size, it really seemed more like a seasoned chicken wrap than a burrito. I went back the next day and almost ordered the burrito again, but decided to try something else. The chicken Brazilian sandwich sounded interesting, and since the fries that came with the burrito were so tasty, decided to order them again as well. When I got to the register, the transition from Portuguese to English was much faster, probably because I opened with a bit more English. There was a bit of confusion when I tried to order "a side fries" as had not realized that this sandwich also included fries or salad (it's not listed as such on the menu, and apparently they had just given me a half side of each because I didn't specify when ordering the burrito). When my sandwich came out it was shockingly HUGE, I didn't see the fine print that "Brazilian sandwiches" had Ham, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, corn, potato sticks and peas ON TOP of the sandwich as standard practice! Further, all this wasn't stuffed in your wimpy Mc Donald's sized bulky roll, but a large French roll! I couldn't believe I just spent $6.25 on a lunch I couldn't even finish. Later trips would cement this place as a frequent go to since their ~$3 breakfast sandwiches are served on these same large French rolls, and it seems impossible to find something on the menu that great tasting and fresh. Since then, I've brought many friends, all who instantly became green with envy, one even began traveling from Arlington to Everett on a weekly basis just to eat at Santana's. Warnings to first time visitors should be aware: Sometimes the place gets packed with take-out orders and the line can be a bit long, but manageable. However, once your order is in, its usually in front of you in less than 10 minutes. Also, this restaurant is clearly caters best to Everett's Brazilian population. If you don't speak Portuguese, you'll naturally feel like a bit of an outsider once you open your mouth. Nevertheless, the wait staff are extremely friendly multilingual and try hard to accommodate everyone. read more

Went here at night, looking for a snack with my husband. They have many great looking pastries in the case. I picked one out that had a lot of custard in the middle. My husband picked a hot dog in dough that also had chicken and cream cheese. It seemed like an odd choice but he said it was great and was very impressed. My pastry was also fantastic.
