Santana's is a great place to stop for a sweet or for breakfast or just to "grab something" and relax! The breakfasts are delicious but they give you too much food! With the Santana's Breakfast, I was served two large pancakes! One would have been more than enough! Besides the American toast offerings, there are many Brazilian breads and pastries to accompany whatever you're having. Other than breakfast, I have enjoyed the pão de queijo, the sandwiches, a burger and most often, the coconut breads! It's hard to leave Santana's without a treat of some kind to have later....The bakery products are gorgeous! Also, the staff are very sweet, attentive, patient and hard-working. There are long lines sometimes and as another reviewer suggested, they should have a pick-up line for people who have ordered ahead. That said, the women really move fast and the lines do, too! When I arrived, my order was indeed ready, but the cashier insisted I had to stand in a long line meant for placing new orders just to pay. This makes no sense, if I ordered ahead and my food is ready, there should be a separate process for pick-up. Very frustrating experience and poor customer service. read more

We were looking for breakfast after we dropped our dogs off for their grooming appointment and Santana's was recommended. It was a short walk and there was lots of parking spots available around the cafe. I've been here a few times and I love this place! I gave it a 5 star because of how much food they give and its quality/ authenticity according to my Brazilian boyfriend. I always get the pão de queijo for an appetizer and the açai bowl was SO good (not too sweet). The plate is so good but I decided to get the omelette and steak this time, which was a lot of food/was worth it. The people there are always busy but super friendly especially to a non-Brazilian like me! The Acai here is very Smooth, as served by the waitress (Maria Maria), who is a bit of a Black Magic Woman, especially when it's Stormy. But she often drops orders, she's a little Carlos and clumsy. This awesome Cafe makes Brazilian juices and all kinds of delicious delights. I wasn't expecting it to be so completely friendly and awesome. They also have the cheese bread - Pao de queijo - and they make it hot and warm and fresh and it could not be any more delicious. Now bear in mind there's tons of Brazilian stuff around here. Worst service ever! I ordered a bday cake with white chocolate shavings and bonbon pieces on the top. One white layer with bonbon and the other one was milk chocolate layer with dark bonbon pieces as well. Guess what? It came totally different! But the worst is about to come, when I called the bakery to report it and see what's going on about it they talked with the MANAGER and said " I'm sorry, you've cut the cake already and the only thing we can do is put a 10$ dollars credit under your name so you gonna be able to spent it here!!! I come here at least one a month and I love all the food here. Downside is that it's literally always packed. Which is expected when the food is amazing. They have a glass display of tons of pastries. I'm not familiar with Brazilian pastries so I wish that they had signs labeling what they are. It's a very casual cafe. You wait in line and order up at the counter and then you seat yourself. When your food is ready, someone will come out and call out your name. You have to listen extra carefully because the workers are all Brazilian and they will most likely butcher your name. I get their plate specials every time I come. Love their steak and chicken plate specials. The meats are seasoned really well and the plates come with a LOT of food. Meat, rice, beans, plantains, and Eggs or salad. I'm obsessed with their rice. I'm pretty sure all they do is just salt it but I'm obsessed. I could literally just eat a bowl of their rice and be happy. Their acai bowls aren't the best but they're still pretty darn good. This place has a nice homey atmosphere. It was about 8:30pm when I went and it was super busy. But the wait for food wasn't long at all. It has typical café vibes where people can order takeout or eat there. The menu is pretty big and it's the perfect place for any type of hungry. Whether you want a meal or a snack, this is perfect. I was craving açaí bowls and this was one of the closest places to me that had them. They are GOOD. The açaí purée is perfectly puréed. There's a good portion of açaí purée to fruit and granola ratio. Everything tastes fresh. The honey tops it off!! They also have all these Brazilian goodies and bread. I'm definitely coming back for the açaí bowl again and to try more things on the menu! I absolutely LOVE their açaí bowls, you have to add the condensed milk it's a game changer! I love how they have snacks and candy that you wouldn't find at a regular grocery stores. Also the plate of the day is a HUGE portion for a little under $20. I get the grilled chicken plate of the day and it comes with a big piece of chicken, Rice, beans, fries, plantains, and the choice of a salad or eggs. Wow, what an incredible restaurant! The last time we were in the Everett area we decided to stop in at this Brazilian café to grab some for after a long day of shopping. This restaurant although small and pack was incredible! The food here is beyond words and we ended up stuffing our faces with a few different items. My wife had a X-Bacon burger while some other family tried their Prato do Dia. Everything was perfect and we walked out with leftovers. In the end, if you want a good meal then stop here. I came to Santana and this place was packed,I was waiting in line and couldn't believe the amount of people that were in here.. plenty of room to sit, and they have a ton of baked goods, fresh orange juice, smoothies, cakes, like flan which is bomb,acai bowls,and they also serve breakfast, lunch dinner. The only problem is the parking drove around a few times , but I was persistent on finding a spot, cause anytime I see a Brazilian bakery I know that they will have my Pao de queso (cheese bread).. I was introduced to these back when I visited Brazil, this was something everyone would eat for breakfast, I ate them everyday there and I got hooked.. The bread is soft and the cheese is thick really chewy and just damn amazing but one is not enough. I always get a dozen and this bakery here made them fresh, served warm is the best way to eat them.. But the famous "salgadinhos Brasileiros" are not so good. they are an enlarged size and the dough is very heavy. Also, they seem to have the same color - perhaps the same kind of dough is used to make them all. They have more dough than filling. It is when that rule of "less is more" should be applied. Eu gosto desse restaurante/padaria brasileiro. Eles servem uma boa porção de comida brasileira por um bom preço. Eles têm também sucos fresco.
