I am a road warrior for work and get into my fair share of sandwiches during a work week. So worth the stop. It was perfect and came with a side of potato salad which didn't disappoint either. Definitely top sandwich I've had this year. The poke was on point and instantly reminded me of being in Hawaii getting my poke to go out of the deli at Foodland. Sadly, they no longer offer ice cream cones (just ice cream in pints and quarts) - they explained to me that they were overwhelmed by people who just wanted ice cream, and that it made it hard to sell fish. The penalty of popularity. If you need fish, whether to consume nearby, or to take home on ice, this is a great place to buy it - conveniently located on route 20, not far from I-5.

We come here for Dungeness crab. Shrimp are small but good. We usually drive to Deception Pass State Park, find a table, and eat our seafood there. We bring our usual party utensils, seafood tools, gloves, and rice. Make sure you check the Jet Carrier Training Schedule. It can get really loud if you don't time it right.

Lucky me that my birthday was on a Wednesday so I could be totally influenced to have oysters-on-the-half shell due to a generous Wednesday night special. I would be happy with any they are serving here, I am sure.) I had already planned on having the Oysters Rockefeller (known here as Manor Rockefeller), and so, despite having just downed some oysters, I went ahead anyway and am glad I did! They were wonderful. And there was no real reason for me to pause for a moment in my decision, having already had oysters, because these were soooooo different. (And having said that, I know that "pepper heat" is an individual thing--I can tolerate a goodly amount, fyi--I just didn't taste these as hot at all.) The main draw of this restaurant is definitely the amazing views that almost everyone reviewing this restaurant mentions. Sesame seeds and coconut milk (in the rice) can be too in small quantities. I ordered this knowing it was going to be pretty safe for me to eat. However, I was not prepared for how much I was going to love it! The cod was cooked perfectly - not dry at all. The bok choy - whoever cooked this clearly likes bok choy. The menu described it as shellfish and whitefish in a saffron-seafood broth. What it didn't mention was that the tomato in the broth was smoked. The smoke overwhelmed the dish. I couldn't taste saffron nor any of the seafood. Just smoke and quite a bit of salt. And I'm a saltaholic. I couldn't eat it, which was a shame because the single mussel and one bite of rockfish I managed were perfectly cooked. Reading the menu online, I was so excited to go. That excitement was not rewarded. So sad because the chef has a great vision for the place, and cooks everything to perfection. But he needs to explain things better on the menu (particularly when departing from tradition), and consider dialing back the smoke.

Included, on skewers were two small biscuit sliders with egg, ham and cheese, three sausage meatballs, two large bacon wrapped potato chunks, a couple of pickled peppers, a chunk of apple, two blue cheese stuffed olives, a chunk of cheese, ham and salami. It also contained a big celery and carrot stick. It was supposed to have a dill pickle spear but I guess they forgot that or ran out. With it you get your choice of vodkas. I chose Tito's. This was all served in a quart size Mason Jar! Everyone else ordered other items and they all seemed to enjoy not only their drinks but their food as well. Salmon Scramble was really enjoyed by the son in law and stuffed French toast was great according to my wife. Several ordered the Breakfast Burrito in a Bowl and enjoyed it.
