Food was great, steak was juicy and a good serving (14oz NY Strip). The rolls are similar to Texas Roadhouse, soft and hot with a cinnamon butter. My server was great, she asked me to cut into my steak to check the temp while she waited and when I wanted it just a hair less pink they had it back out to me within just a few short minutes. My waitress brought bread, but I had no silverware to butter it with. My waitress was awesome, but the food was medium as was the margarita. I really never write a review, but the service and food at this location was not on par in the least. Manager is terrible and rude! I will start by saying our waitress was very nice and was trying her best to provide good service. There must have been a real problem in the kitchen as it took forever to receive our entrees. While waiting on our food the table behind my wife had complained about a steak they had attempted to eat. Once our food arrived, my wife quickly learned why. Here Ribeye was very fatty with a lot of grizzle. She found it very hard to cut through and chew. She had cut through about half of the steak and then simply gave up after only finding 4 or 5 small pieces which she could eat. The Fish tacos I ordered were okay but the corn tortillas were very hard and stiff on the edges, so I only eat the fish. Service continued to be very slow and when we finally saw our waitress we informed her that the steak was a problem. She stated she would inform the manager. She returned in about 10 minutes and asked what we would like her to do. I informed we would like to speak with the manager. After about another 5 minutes the waitress returned to let us know that the manager would be coming out to see us. When the manager showed up (10 minutes later) we tried our best to provide her feedback that the steak was very fatty and had a lot of grizzle. The manager proceeded to inspect and critique the steak at our table. Just weird! She even stated to my wife that it appeared that half of the steak had been eaten, which was not the case. Over half of it had been cut up to try to find any good steak. The manager then just walked away without any apology or real indication of what she would be doing next. I have never had a restaurant manager be so rude and inspect the food in front of a customer and question the validity of the complaint. At this point I was bum founded and became frustrated. Before the manager could get away from our area, a third table stopped her to complain about a steak they had received. Our waitress showed back up to our table after about another 10 minutes. My wife had gone to the car by this time as she had had enough of the experience. The waitress informed me that the manager had removed about half of the price of the steak....I would assume because she thinks my wife ate half. Again, just a weird and rude way to handle this! While working on completing the bill transaction the manager came back to my table and informed me that she had removed half of the price of the steak meal. What was she expecting me to say..."Thank you for being so generous". I don't fault the wait staff. This unfortunate experience falls 100% on the poor management. I would never recommend this location as the current evening manager doesn't care about the customer and is down right rude. The manager should be fired for her bad management of the food service and for how rude and uncaring she is to her client base. read more

A non-food grade carcinogen that stinks to all high heaven. Pine Sol is horrible. It is also not a cure for crickets. What the management has done is dump EcoLab and food grade cleaners for shit he can buy at Dollar Tree. Fire him or her today. TODAY! Screwing over your customers to save a buck is deadly. My friend and I decided to have dinner here. We wanted a steak. I had read mixed reviews but it was a Monday and several other restaurants were closed. We decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted by the host and seated. We ordered the filet and baked sweet potato and sweet potato fries and a glass of wine. Our wait person was Zoie. The food was delicious!! Cooked to perfection and so tender! Zoie was extremely attentive to our every need. What more can I say ???? We had dinner here on the evening of April 8th. We're not from Ardmore, but stopped here while traveling through. It was our first time at a Santa Fe Steakhouse. Our server was pleasant, and we were seated promptly. One of us ordered the New York Strip, the other had the Santa Fe Tacos. Unfortunately, the food was just bad. The steak was overcooked, tough, and lacking in flavor. The tacos were disappointing, and the shells were almost too tough to eat. For the price, were definitely had better food elsewhere. It took 30 minutes to get drinks (water and tea), 45 minutes for bar drinks, I had to ask the kitchen for plates and water refills, over an hour to get salads and another 20 minutes for entrees. I ordered the sirloin med rare, mashed potatoes and side salad. The salad was fine. The steak was cooked well-done and tough. Where do I begin. 2 people right before the lunch crowd (4:00pm) Rolls brought out with butter but no silverware or napkins Requested silverware and napkins and were looked at like we were aliens. Not sure what was up with that. 2 alcoholic beverages with 2 glasses of water 2 chicken fried steaks (both with mash potatoes, one with broccoli and the other with green beans) One steak was fine the other overcooked and tough. Had to send that one back. In addition broccoli was brought out much later. As you can see in the photo, that one side is VERY well done. The second CFS wasn't much better. So let's start it off. An hour wait when told 20 mins, took an hour to get waters. Bread was the okay. Then proceeded to get our food 2 hours and 30 mins after we got there. This is looking like a habit but..... not a great place to eat! First, you must run passed a huge group of birds just to get inside. They are covered, so beware of the poop! The bar service was solid so no issues with that. The food was not great and very low on the flavor scale! I had the cowboy combo and nothing was flavorful. The chicken was overcooked on the outside and barely cooked inside! The ribs were fall off the bone and the best part of the meal but not really tasty. The sweet potato with brown sugar was bland as well. Disappointing! The lemon cake was good but tasted "bought" meaning not fresh. I'm really sorry... I'll give 3 stars but the guys was 2! Service 3 stars. Seated quickly but the hostess had to wipe down a cleared but not cleaned table. Left us with menus only no silverware. There were 3 or 4 tables eating in the area where we were seated. Didn't see the waitress for 5-10 min. At which time she took our order as well as drink order and dropped off warm rolls. Shortly aster that a different waitress came back to ask how the steak was to be cooked, Medium. 15-20 min later food arrived by the original server. She said she would come back to check on the steaks cook. 20 min later she never came back until a new table was seated. She never asked to refill our drinks until we were ready to leave and asked for the check. Food 3 stars. Had a salad with salmon, side of Onion rings and the 2 for $25 plate which was the steak and fried shrimp with a potato. Asked for Medium on the steak. Unfortunately the cut of the steak was not even, thinner sides than the middle. So the sides or 25% of the steak was medium however the thicker middle was rare. When cooking steak that isn't cut right, the cook can't win. U either get your goal in the thinnest part or u overcook the thinnest part to meet the temperature goal in the middle. In this case the goal of medium was met at the thin edges but not in the middle. Also request the baked potato to not be loaded. What arrived was a baked potato, no butter, nothing. After getting a side of butter which we pointed this out to the server, applied the butter and this was so cold it made the potato Cold as well. Not sure how one fixes that issue. The rest though came out fine and tasted good. Atmosphere 3 stars. Loud people in the bar, swear there was going to be a fight and they were really drunk. Come to find out it was two people sitting at the bar watching sports and yelling at it the tv. read more

Server ended up forgetting about it once my food came & my steak ended up being well done ( TWICE ) when I had asked for medium. Waitress then said "you practically ate half of it so we can't take it back" when I had only taken a tiny bite out of the steak before realizing that it was well done .. first and last time here. What can I say I love this place! They have great tea! Great service! Great atmosphere and the food is always pretty tasty! I like the variety of the menu and the dressings and sauces .. yum! The rolls and butter always hit the spot!! I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection juicy and flavorful! The burgers are wonderful! Big! Filling and loaded with flavor! Yum!
