Stopping at TikTok's three most iconic Cubano sandwich shops in Miami. This was our first stop and so far it is five stars still have the other two to go but this one so far is definitely one of the best Cuban sandwiches. I've had that sauce they put with it is fire. We got the Cubano and the media Noche sandwich. I also had the Cubano iced coffee, which was amazing, but I needed extra extra caramel too sweeten it up to my liking will definitely be back. My next visit to Miami service is fast and has a very chic ambience.
Sanguich really does have a place in my heart. Any time I find myself in the area, gotta make it a point to stop by. I believe everyone else has heard the memo though as the line easily finds itself out the door and into the parking lot. Between the Cubano and cafecito you'll certainly be leaving with a smile on your face. They have online ordering if you know you're on your way or can place a to go order at the walk up window. 10/10 will try to stop by every time.
Come for: any sandwich, any side Know that: line gets long Wow...this place completely changed how I felt about cubanos. Never did I believe it could be so good. The restaurant is a classic touristy hole in the wall. You stand outside until ready to order, be prepared to wait 30+ mins. I ordered 2 sandwiches, cuban fries, and chicharrones to split with a friend. The cubano (5/5) and pan con bistec (5/5) were absolutely excellent. Both had a perfect ratio of meat and sauce. But what really set it apart was the crispy crusted bread. Spectacular! The chicharrones (4/5) were a steal - MASSIVE portion for like $5. Insane deal, and delicious. The cuban nachos (4.5/5) had their amazing sauce and garlic confit lechon on it. Delicious and would order both again. Overall, this is a tourist spot but one I don't think can be missed.
BEST CUBAN IN MIAMI! A statement I can live by being a local. It's not your classic Cuban but I appreciate the additions to the sandwich itself! Line can get pretty backed up but if you go right when they open it should be a breeze! Their cilantro sauce is BOMB and would complement their tostone fries but they no longer carry those on the menu ! Staff is always pleasant and the ambiance fits right into a miami sandwich shop! I've heard great things about their coffee and shakes and can't wait to try!
The sandwiches here are amazing. We tried the classic Cubano which is a staple and really good. The other sandwich we got, I thought was even better than the classic, was the Pan con Bistec. I would recommend both! The croquettes are very tasty too. This location does have a small parking lot as well as paid street parking. Seats inside are limited though.
The chicharrones were the big hit. We've had them all over Mexico and plenty of times in San Diego. These here were amazing. They were brought to our table still crackling! Delicious. Then we had 2 sandwiches. The Cubano seemed to be the favorite with my family, I preferred the bistec. Though honestly you can't go wrong with either. FYI, one Sando is really 2 Sandos. They are not greedy with the portions. Solid 4 stars because the space is really small and the tables only seat 2. Not the biggest deal, but that's all that is keeping them from being a 5 star.
Sanguich in Little Havana was clearly a popular place, and I really enjoyed the croquettes during my visit. I was not exceedingly hungry, but my husband enjoyed his sandwich. I liked the vibe and fast service. There is not a slew of seating, but it's worth a stop for some good eats.
Had this place bookmarked for a while and glad I got to try it when I was visiting Florida. My first Cubano! I ordered the Croquettas, El Cubano, Timba - guava milkshake, and Caramel iced latte. The Croquettas were nice and crispy. So delish. El Cubano was perfectly grilled and had great flavors. I shared half a sandwich with my parents. Timba was for my mom. She said it was ok. I liked my caramel iced latte and they made it sweet for me. Service could be better. They just stare at you lol. Could at least smile more. They were awarded a lot of recognition for their food but I do think they need to be more humble about it. Might be a language barrier because we kept asking a straw and they either forgot and needed to be reminded again. Ambiance is such a vibe. This place is kinda small but we were able to snag a seat at the bar and it was nice to see them preparing the sandwiches. The sauce that comes with it was a great addition! All in all, this place was worth going.
Came here for an early lunch and was able to get a seat right away at the bar. It was fun to watch the sandwiches being made. I got the Cubano and thought it was tasty, especially with the pickles.
Legit Cuban sandwiches. My daughter who rarely likes any sandwiches finished hers. We ordered the Cubano, chicharrones, and a coffee. Small and limited seating. But very authentic food. Would definitely recommend. Can be a wait. But it's all about the timing.
I saw this place has a Michelin gourmand bib award among others so I knew it had to be good! This would be my second time ever having a Cuban sandwich and the first one was okay and I knew this place had to be better and it was! Warm, pressed, cheesy and full of protein! Delicious and I see why it's so good. Their mango smoothie was also very tasty and creamy. Love the aioli that it came with too. Very cramped and busy and I see why it's a staple. Will be back to try the Miami or something else hehe
Small, fast and tasty! The process to get in is line up outside and they call you in- if you're dining inside or you can order from the window to go. Upon entering you order and pay at the register and then you will be taken to a table. Our sandwiches were all super tasty, fresh and hot off the press. I will say these are not your typical Cuban sandwiches. They have an elevated touch and taste to them. Not traditional but really good, Definitely make it your business to order some croquettes- they are soooo delicious and definitely dip them in the cilantro/garlic sauce it comes with.

Da Wahine had this place bookmarked, so we were going to stop by and see what Sanguich was all about. As of this review, they have 5 locations. This one was closest to us. this location is small, almost a hole in the wall... not a lot of seating inside. I would NOT recommend this place for big groups, it's a struggle for 4 people to eat at a table. and this place gets busy. Parking is just as challenging, with a tiny parking lot. The good news is the staff is very friendly. Try and sit at the bar if you get a chance, you can see your food being prepped right in front of you. Organized Chaos! The sandwiches do take a few minutes to make. 10-15 depending on how busy they are. Plenty of orders are to go as well. We had to stop by on first Miami trip to try our first Cuban sandwich. It's in a little plaza with free parking. It's a small but very busy shop in Little Havana. There aren't a lot of seats so be prepared to take it to go. We ordered 8 sandwiches and the wait was about 30 minutes. The sandwich came out hot and fresh. We had the sanguich cubano and pan con bistec. The bread was perfectly toasted and there wasn't a distinct flavor to the meats. I would say it's worth a try if you're in Miami but I wouldn't go out of the way to get it. read more
More like 3.5 stars, I believe they are opening a second location. Line when we got there, there are actually two lines but it was confusing, one line for dining in, the other at the window for take out but people weren't really queuing here in a orderly fashion and then everyone is picking up here so it was kind of chaotic- they need a better system. Plus you're out in the heat. We choose to take out as it looked quicker, didn't take long to order but food took a good 25 minutes plus to be ready, so probably would have gotten inside at that rate and had somewhere to eat our food. The sandwiches were good but not worth the wait, the flavours weren't there, it was just a sandwich. I did get an iced coffee with caramel and it was the best coffee I had all weekend! Seems to be a lot of hype. read more
The steak sandwich tasted really good! The meat is tender and juicy. The bread is toasted to perfect and just enough crunch! The servers are very nice and are quick to help you get a table. They also service fries along with two sauces that are very tasty. read more
Sanguich definitely lives up to its reputation as having one of the best Cuban sandwiches in Miami, not to mention Florida and perhaps the US, or entire world? There's just something about the first bite, you just know it's a great sandwich - maybe it's the melted Swiss cheese, the slightly vinegary mustard, the fresh ham, the tangy pickles, it just all works. Their pan con bistec sandwich is also quite good with sous vide thinly sliced steak . Even at 230 pm, there was a long line of eager people waiting for a seat inside. You may also order "to go" at the outdoor stand but that took about 45 minutes. Expect to wait. The coffee is also fantastic. I had the Cortadito. read more

Recommended by a friend. Good but Pricey. In on a Friday at 4. Pretty busy. Order and pay at counter next to entrance and she will tell which table number to sit at and they will bring your order to you. ORDERED: Cuban Sandwich Good $13.49 Plenty of ingredients but smaller than I am used to. The bread reminded me of a Media Noche roll. Canned Sprite $ 2.75 VERY SMALL Cafe con Leche $ 3.50 Total with tip. $ 40.88 Too far from home to go back. read more
A fabulous Cuban sandwich worth going out of the way for. This location is just a pick-up window, not a sit down place, but the food is delicious. Loved that the bread is hollowed out and the meat and fillings make up most of the sandwich. Bread is nice and toasted and filling is perfect with the right amount of pickles and mustard. Friendly service and you can order ahead online. read more

Solid Cubano sandwich here! Waited in a small line but they have limited seating or take away. Sanguich is legit according to my Cuban friend. Tasted good to me! Pressed and scalding hot. The pork is super tender and the pickles, Swiss cheese & mustard are great. Definitely grab one if you're in Little Havana. read more

When we got to the restaurant, there was a short line for takeout and for dine in. We waited about 40 min to place an order and another 20 min to get our food. Overall a pretty inefficient process as there wasn't too many people in line. We got the Cuban sandwiches and two ham croquettes which were both delicious. The ratio of bread, meat, and cheese was perfect and the flavors were not too overwhelming. Would come back and dine-in to try their other food! read more

Delicious Cuban sandwiches and delicious chicharrones that are freshly made that you hear the crackling sounds . The staff were amazing and the service great . I don't know why I thought Sanguich would have a local deli vibe, I did not expect it to be the high-end classy sandwich place that it is so it was a nice surprise. Came on a weekday lunch and there was already a huge line out of the door. It's kind of confusing to know where to order so here it goes: If you're ordering take out, you order at the big window (yes there's no menu or prices), and if you're sitting inside you actually go into the restaurant and order at the counter. I ordered the Sanguich Cubano (waited around 20-25 minutes) and the flavors really surprised me. I thought it would taste kind of like a Monte Cristo but I was pleasantly surprised with the mustard as it added a lot of complexity to the sandwich. I was also a bit worried that I might feel kind of hungry later, but the sandwich was huge and honestly just half of it could be one full meal as they really pack the meat into the sandwich. I appreciate the slightly crispier outer edges of the bread and the warm insides. Also, I ate this on the beach which was such a dream, would highly recommend. Overall, not a bad sandwich at all. Would definitely come back, earlier this time (before 11am) and order them to-go as the sit-down line seemed to extend pretty far. Sandwiches and beaches, name a better combination? read more
Popular tourist destination in Little Havana. We showed up on a busy Sunday and waited for roughly 45 minutes for dine in. In was another 20-30 minutes to get our sandwiches. It's a tiny shop and super busy. The sandwiches were pretty good and the croquetas were tasty. The sandwiches were pretty up there in price. Overall, it was an experience. If I were to visit again I would definitely just order a sandwich to go and continue walking around little Havana. read more

I want to go back to Miami so I can have this sandwich. It is the best Cuban I ever had. It's the perfect combination - the pickles are made in house, pork is juicy and flavorful, and the bread has the perfect crunch. A friend had the pan con lechón and it was amazing as well! Loved the coffee too. I can't wait to come back here. read more
I'll start off by saying that I'm not a sandwich girl. I never go to a restaurant and order a sandwich so I really had pretty low expectations for Sanguich, especially given how much it had been hyped up. I thought it would not live up to the hype but it definitely did. The restaurant's in a little strip mall and there was a wait out the door and around the corner. You have the option of waiting in the To-go line or the sit-down line and we waited in the sit-down line because it was moving just as fast. The host was interacting with the guests and trying to move the line as quickly as possible. We ordered two sandwiches and the croquettas, all of which was incredible but the Cubano took the cake! It was soo good!! The bread was delicious and the flavors of the meat and the sauce worked so well together. My favorite Cubano in Miami! I'd definitely recommend coming here just expect a wait! read more
Haven't had a sandwich this amazing in a while. I ordered to-go but looking inside there were some tables. I ordered the cubano and all parts of it were great. Very flavorful, nothing overpowering each other, and very nicely put together. They definitely deserve their spot on the Michelin guide read more

Finally made it here! Don't get discouraged if there's a line out the door. Tables turnaround quickly here and I can assure you it is worth the wait. Sanguich has THE BEST croqueta preparada sandwich and batido de mamey (I saw them throwing real mamey slices into the blender). Trust me, I'm a local and I've had my fair share of croqueta preparadas and Mamey shakes in this town. This is the closest the flavors have come to tasting like the ones made my abuela Mima. With a few locations spread around Miami, I'm sure you'll find the most convenient location and see for yourself how right I am about this place. Buen provecho! read more

In my opinion the perfect Cuban sandwich! Perfectly pressed bread with the freshest cuts of meats. Usually I would say pickles are pickles but these pickles alone are on a different level of fresh crunchy and would say homemade. Great service, great ambiance and right on Calle Ocho in Little Havana! read more
The best. The best sandwiches, the best croquettes, the best coffee, the nicest people -- I don't know how this place could be much better. This trip, we got the croquettes, Cubano, pan con bistec, two smoothies (banana and mango), cafe con leche, and a cortadito. The Cubano is still the reigning champ among the sandwiches for us -- it's just so perfectly pressed and holds together so well, while also having easily the best ham of any Cubano I've ever eater. The croquettes are also absolute musts on every visit, and the mango smoothie probably will be going forward now too. And then there's the coffee, which is just so incredible -- the cortadito is probably the best caffeinated drink I've had in my life. Can't wait to come back on our next trip. read more
I have mixed feelings about this Little Havana spot. The parking is horrendous. It's located in a small strip mall and there just isn't enough parking for such a popular spot. We got there around 10:30 AM and the place was already packed. They have a "ventanita" where you can order and wait outside for your food. There must have been half a dozen people consistently ordering and waiting. The inside is small- I believe about 7 - two person tables and some chairs at the counter. You order right as you enter the restaurant which makes the line and space at the entrance very crowded. We ordered the croquetas and the chicharrones. We wanted to try the plantain fries, but they were out of them. This is the second time we've been there and have not been able to try the plantain fries because they've been out of them. The croquetas were very good, but I wasn't a fan of the chicharrones. The chicharrones were fresh and just made, but I didn't like the flavor. We had the pan con lechón and the pan con bistec- both were good and were big. The meat is chopped finely and the bread is thin and toasted perfectly. The sandwiches are an elevated version of Cuban favorites. I also ordered a cafe con leche, but they never brought it to the table. I asked for a refund and they were very apologetic about it, but it soured my experience a bit. The tables have no numbers, they don't take your name when ordering. I have no idea how they just know where the food goes. Plus, the place has people constantly coming in and out nonstop. There were even a couple of tourists with their suitcases either coming from or going to the airport. We also ordered a mamay and a timba shake to go. They were out of like three of the other more popular flavors. Shakes were good, but nothing that wowed us especially at about $8 per shake. Overall the food is good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. read more
While walking around little Havana we saw this huge line outside this little sandwich shop, so we decided to stop in. We were so glad we did. Do the staff shortage you had to order at counter and then sit. The staff were so friendly and always smiling. We got an order of Cuban fries, perfectly crispy and cooked the right way. The Cuban sandwich was amazing. Full of flavor and meat. Pressed to a crispy outer layer with soft inside. The crowd just never stopped coming and I think the line was longer when we left. If ever in little Havana you have to stop in, you won't be disappointed read more

I was very determined to eat here despite the wait! Luckily I only had to wait like 15-20 min to eat inside on a Saturday afternoon. If you just want takeout, they have a separate window/line for that. All the employees were very lively and hardworking. I know this joint is super popular so they are busy all the time. To drink, I got a pineapple soda which was super tasty. We got a side of fries to start. Then we ordered a cubano and the pan con lechon. I would say the Cubano was the winner here. It had way more flavor than the pan con lechon. It really satisfied my craving for Cuban food! read more
Simply the best Cuban sandwich place in Miami! The lines are always huge due to so many tourists wanting to try out these delicious sandwiches but the wait is definitely worth it. I always go with the traditional Cuban Sandwich and it's always delicious, fresh home cut ham, right amount of cheese, and mustard gives it the final touch. The staff here is very friendly and I love the layout of the place it's small but has a homey feel to it. read more

I am honestly ashamed that I never tried this place when I lived in Miami, I was literally 5 minutes away from heaven wrapped in pan cubano. Alas, now being listed on the Michelin bib gourmand this place gets busy. Yes the prices here are higher than most on calle ocho but it is worth it and the lines out the front door prove it. I got the pan con bistec ($15) and omg, the meat, the cheese, the toppings, the bread, everything was perfecto. I'm talking fresh, juicy and delicious. The place is done up really well with a retro 1920s vibe, all inside an un-assuming strip mall. You might luck out with one of the few free spots in the center or take one of the metered street spots. But parking in Miami is always a mission, nothing new there. read more

After landing in Miami, we did a quick Yelp search for some lunch and found this gem. It was difficult to find as its hidden in a small plaza and the parking is tight. Place is small and the dining area is limited. So we decided to take it back to our hotel to eat. It took a really long time for them to make the 5 sandwiches. Apparently, they were ready, but they employee didn't let us know where we were. Umm right outside by the take out window, you couldn't miss us the 5 of us waiting out there in the hot sun. The sandwiches were good, the chicharrones was really addicting. Light and crunchy - nicely seasoned. I expect the sandwiches would have been better if we had them there hot and fresh. I would visit again and try to eat them there read more
I may not have had every Cubano let alone every sandwich in Miami, but I would not doubt that Sanguich is indeed serving up one of the best there is. The strip mall this place is located is a far reach from what you actually see and received even from the front door and take-out window, something truly unique and ingenious for a small space like this. The inside has the classic yet retro look, personally reminding me very much of Petit Trois here in LA. It's snug but vibrant and lively. Service was fantastic from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I did not get her name but the girl taking orders with the "AMOR" tattoo (Mi Amor?) was a sweetheart. We ordered a Cubano, Pan con Lechon, and Mamey shake. Let me start off by saying the absolutely single negative thing about this meal was the bread on the Cubano because it sadly seems they toasted it a bit too long so it was more dry than "toasty". The bread on the Lechon was still soft and light and held together well with each bite. Now as for the rest of the Cubano, this thing is LOADED with everything - ham, pork, (ham and ham? pork and pork?), the ham being so light and slightly sweet while the shredded pork is savory, fatty, and soft. The sharp pickles are absolutely amazing, the spicy mustard adds a kick to balance the fats, and the melty cheese is the icing on the sandwich. Surprisingly yet not surprisingly, the Pan con Lechon was 100x better than the Cubano. This sandwich is INSANE. The bread so toasty and fluffy on the inside soaking up that outstanding marinade of garlic and lemon and orange. The juice of the marinade combining with the fat of the pork soaked up in the bread while the soft meat is bringing it in with each bite, this sandwich was ridiculously tasty. Even my mother who rarely ever eats meat fell in love with this sandwich. Even better? The mamey was the best one I've ever had in Miami. My only regret here is that we didn't have time to come back to try more of their foods from what is already a simple and tight knit menu. But Lord knows, Sanguich will be at the top of my list on every visit to Miami. read more
My Yelp-dar was going crazy. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep. Sanguich came up and looked like an absolute GREEN flag. Even though I was staying in Miami Beach, driving over seemed liked it would make the trip worth it. Finding myself with a line in front of me, I waited around 30 minutes to be able to get to the door and order. Note there's some modern-looking indoor seating, and I promptly got a place to sit and order my sandwich. Thankfully, I was with my family - it gave me a chance to try 3 different types. With each bite, my brain was left more and more stunned by the simplistic sandwich. It hit all the wonderful notes and even writing the review makes me crave it more. With the latte in my other hand, this became easily one of the best meals I've ever had in Miami. Absolutely worth it and something that can't be beat. You might have a better sandwich somewhere else (shoutout to Middle Child, Philadelphia). You may even have a better meal experience in Miami. But Sanguich is a unique, beautiful spot tucked into a small corner where you must go and try the Cuban. read more
On a recent visit to Miami I made my way over to Sanguich after hearing about it on IG. I ordered a classic Cuban sandwich to go. The sandwich was good especially the bread. I feel like it would have been better if I ate it while it was hot. I ended up having it several hours later once I got to the airport. I would definitely return to eat in the restaurant if I'm back in the area. read more
Sanguich De Miami was easily the best Cuban spot for sandwiches that I went to in Miami by far and I went to at least 3 different places (not many in reality but I did eat a lot during my short weekend trip haha). The hospitality, the quality of the food, the price- everything was absolutely perfect. My only regret was not trying more sandwiches from this place versus going to other sandwich spots but lesson learned! I will certainly be back next time I'm in Miami. read more

This place is worth the visit. Tried other Cuban sandwiches and even one at the F1 race from Havana's but this version at Sanguich takes the win. Start with the bread, which is super crispy on the outside but soft inside. Also, just the right amount of mustard, pickles and cheese that don't squirt out the sandwich. The cheese is melted perfectly to be stretchy but not too much. Oh and why not top it off with Cuban expresso brewed from Panther without the bitterness, even straight up with no sugar. The atmosphere has a good vibe and music but is very small and quint. Also this place is becoming a popular tourist place. read more
This has been on 'my list' for years so finally we planned a day trip to Miami and made it a point to stop here for lunch. We parked on the street but there is a small parking lot for the plaza. We knew we were there when we saw the line at the take out window. We opted to sit inside, there were 7 2-seater tables and 9 seats at the counter. We lucked out and got a table. Although our order took a little while, overall, the tables and chairs turned over quickly. You order at the counter then they bring your order to you. I couldn't figure how they knew who to deliver the orders to as they didn't ask our name, nor did we have a number on our table, but they got it right, thankfully because I was really looking forward to my Cuban sandwich. There were at least 10 employees working behind the counter. It was truly like a well choreographed symphony, watching them all complete their tasks. The atmosphere is truly Cuban, a Gloria Estefan song played over the speakers when we were there. Our order included a Cubano, a Sanguich de Miami and an order of the plantain fries. I am a plantain purist and prefer them prepared the traditional way but that didn't stop us from finishing our order. The 3 dipping sauces served with the fries were all delicious. Our plantains were served quickly we ate them all before we got our sandwiches. The sandwiches were served warmed and pressed. The bread was more crispy than I like but obviously fresh. All ingredients were fresh. We both brought 1/2 home. All the employees were friendly and appear committed to servicing all guests When on Calle Ocho give Sanguich a try! read more
