For less than $75 for material why so much for a retired couple that just had to pay a plumber I thought this was outrageous quote and I told them so! I am leaving before and after pics. The 2nd phase took awhile to get some of the material due to COVID-19 but we understood. However, this poor review is because we have been given actual dates/timeframes, on roughly 7 different occasions, that they said they would be out to finish the job. All 7 times, no one shows, no one calls to explain. All but 2 of the times we had to reach out to them. Customer service and doing what one says one is going to do is as important as the quality of work. Customer service in non-existent with this company! I do NOT recommend them!

Our insurance guy said they spaced the shingles too far apart which allowed more water damage. If you want a leaky roof put on by people who are cutting corners and won't own their workmanship these are the incompetent roofers for you.

Bob came to my house several times to walk through his process, show me sample materials, and answer all of my questions. He never pressured me on cost or timing. The estimate was extremely well put-together, whereas the other three bids I got were poorly handwritten and not detailed enough. His price quote and labor warranty also beat the competition hands-down! Bob's crew was very respectful and performed the job to my high expectations. My house was a tricky one...a really old roof with three layers of existing shingles and wood shake, very close to a neighbor's property on one side, and with minimal parking to accommodate their dump truck. Despite all of these challenges, the crew managed to maintain all debris and cleaned up the construction site before leaving each evening! The job was completely in a timely manner and Bob provided me with an update each day. I would highly recommend Loveridge Builders to anyone in the Denver area who is looking for a reliable roofer with good customer service and top-quality materials and experience.

My first contact with these folks was through another roofer - my wife and I live in a 60's…read moreMid-Century home with a spray foam, and after 3 years of ownership (and subsequent leaks from hail damage) I decided to find a qualified roofer to complete some repairs. I received a quick call back from Tom at Jam Roofing...I explained that we had decided to contact our insurance company to see if they would cover a claim. Tom asked to stop by and take a look, regardless of whether we were going to pursue a full blown roof job - he was willing to take some photos and give us his opinion. As 2 other roofers quoted a fee to look at our roof, I appreciated Toms "good customer service" approach. It was Toms professional opinion that the roof was badly damaged. Fast forward to our insurance inspector - our insurance company responded that hail damage was minimal and sent us a check for $1900 to cover some cosmetic damage. I am not very familiar with the type of spray roof on our home, but it did not take a rocket scientist to see that it was damaged (and to see the leaks in our ceiling). After a discussion with Tom, he suggested that I ask for a re-inspection with an adjuster who is specifically familiar with this type of roof - and he would arrange to meet the adjuster at our home. About 4 days later, our insurance company contacted us with the news that they would total our roof and provide a very fair settlement payment. 48 hours after that I had money in hand and contacted Tom to let him know that he earned our business. We signed a contract to upgrade from our current Elastomeric spray roof to a more durable rubber roof. At the same time we chose to install an additional evaporative cooler on the roof, and Tom provided a reference for a heating/cooling company that he's coordinated work with in the past (will post about these great folks in another review). We paid a % of the total up front for material cost and in about 2 weeks we were contacted to set a start date. At the exact time I was told, up pulls a roll-off dumpster, and shortly after a bunch of trucks with material and our work crew. Over the course of the tear-off and installation, the crew worked diligently, professionally and respected our home - leaving the job site clean and clear of any debris. Weather created some small delays in completion, but as soon as the sun was shining again, the crew was on the job. Throughout the process, Tom would check in with us and review the work. He also personally completed the final bits of fit and finish. So, here is where the rubber (roof) meets the road...this was a big, expensive job and I am so satisfied with the service, communication and quality that I want to shout it from the rooftop (pun intended). Seriously, how often have you dealt with folks that call you back quickly (every time), do exactly what they say and do it in the exact time they promise to do it? That is Jam Roofing. The quality of the work, details, fit and finish are evident - we got a super high quality roof that I am confident will provide many years of protection and comfort...and we got the help we needed in facilitating an insurance claim that was favorable. Highly, highly recommended - if you need a roof repair, new roof or anything roof related - look no further. Call Jam Roofing and ask for Tom. You can thank me later!

Deposit paid 8/15/23, initial siding work only took a week, work quality was good and the fellas cleaned up after themselves (they did break a window screen). Finally sent an email to include the original salesman, received a response they would schedule to complete within a week. Another several weeks went by NO communication, I kept pestering because fall was on us and I needed gutters. 2 months and 20 days later the gutters were installed (mid October), still no soffit. We experienced hail damage to our 1980's brown bubbled skylights. We were so excited to be able to get new updated clear skylights. I did lots of research looking for the right company to do our repairs. We found Skylight Specialists and decided to give them a call for an estimate quote for our insurance company. I spoke with Josh Ewing. He was very knowledgeable about the products, product options, and provided us an estimate for our insurance company quicker than expected. We decided to go through Skylight Specialists and Josh Ewing got everything handled and got our materials on order. Mike called once all the materials arrived to schedule but unfortunately our HOA decided to replace the roofs so it put our skylights on hold for a couple of months. Skylight Specialists were amazing with holding on to our materials and being patient while we waited for the roof to be replaced. Once the roof was replaced, Mike setup the install for us. Kenny and Devin arrived promptly even earlier than expected which was awesome and they completed the job sooner than I had expected. The quality of the materials, the installation, and customer service received during this whole experience was top notch. Thank you Skylight Specialists, Josh Ewing, Mike, Kenny, and Devin for all of your hard work and making our home look amazing with these gorgeous skylights. We love the clarity and the amount of light they let in. If your looking for new skylights, I highly recommend Skylight Specialists.

Disappointing Experience -- No-Show for Scheduled Appointment…read more We scheduled an appointment with Skylight Specialists / See the Light Windows to measure our home for five replacement windows and a sliding glass door. I originally requested a Saturday appointment, but because none was available, we delayed our vacation departure specifically to accommodate their Monday appointment scheduled between 1:00 and 1:15 p.m. Unfortunately, no one showed up. By 1:45 p.m., I had to call the company myself to find out what had happened. I spoke with Blade, who was cordial and explained that my phone number apparently had not been "keyed" into their system correctly. This was particularly frustrating because I entered my information correctly when scheduling online, and they had both my correct email address and home address in their system. Blade said he had attempted to text me and wanted to reschedule for another day. However, when a customer doesn't respond to a text--particularly for a scheduled sales appointment--a simple follow-up email or phone-number verification could have prevented the situation. What bothered me most was that although Blade was cordial, there was no real acknowledgment that their mistake had wasted my time and caused us to delay our vacation departure for an appointment they failed to keep. Instead, the solution was simply to reschedule for another day. Mistakes happen. An incorrectly entered phone number alone would not normally cause me to leave a negative review. The bigger issue was the lack of follow-through. They had my correct email and address, yet apparently made no additional attempt to contact me, and I ultimately had to call them to find out they weren't coming. Window and door replacement is a significant investment that requires accurate measurements, careful coordination, good communication, and attention to detail. If a company can't reliably manage the initial sales and measurement appointment, it raises legitimate concerns about how the actual installation and any subsequent issues will be handled. Based on our experience, I would recommend potential customers take this into consideration before choosing this company.
