There is still at least one honest roofer in Denver. Tom was wonderful to work with. I had such a good experience I decided to tell the story here since I've had some roofing jobs go very bad. From the hail storm in June 2017 we had lots of water in the house. I found Tom's number recommended on NextDoor. We were leaving on vacation in a few days for several weeks and needed some patching done ASAP. Tom showed up on time and patched the roof and sent great pictures to show what had been done. Tom thought there might be enough hail damage to make a roof claim which I pursued when I got back. Tom was the ONLY roofer of 3 others who gave me a bid to replace the roof, no questions asked. All the other roofers who were recommended from neighbors wanted to see the insurance estimate first before they quoted. Everyone was very busy from the storm but Tom was patient the whole time I told him I was shopping around. I finally got tired of being pushed around and managed by the other roofers and asked Tom if he could do the work. I was worried that Tom was all show and talk. That when work got started he would disappear. He was on-site everyday usually the first one at the house and the last one to leave. Everyone showed up when promised, cleaned up at the end of the day and work was done as expected. Amazing to meet and work with someone who does such a great job start to finish. read more

Tom was great. He was fairly priced, did quality work, and was available by text and phone. Our roof was damaged by the recent hail and we contacted a number of companies. Tom responded quickly and, unlike some of the other companies, I didn't feel like I was dealing with someone who was simply trying to lock in a sale. He took the time to understand what we needed/wanted, made some suggestions for possible upgrades, but never pressured us one way or the other. During the process there was a few delays (due to the schedule of the midroof inspection) but Tom communicated with us through the whole process. I was never left wondering what was supposed to be happening. We did also speak with Tom about installing some clear panels over our deck that were also damaged. Tom included that in the bid and then later realized that he underbid. He was very upfront with us and apologetic and went out of his way to assist us even after we decided not to pursue that aspect of the project. Bottom line: it was a pleasure to work with Tom, he was fairly priced, and he did great work. I hope not to need his services again for many years but, if we do, I would definitely call him again. read more

Tom and Advanced Construction Roofing was top notch on every level. Local, honest, and trustworthy. He squeezed us in quickly despite it being small job. Which is a big deal right now with so many roofers pulling in much higher margins on full reroof jobs from all the wind/hail claims. We never felt neglected or second class to his larger jobs. Communication was fast and clear, and he handled 99% of the communication/negotiation with our insurance company. He delivered on every promise he made, and we felt comfortable every step of the way. As for the work itself, the roof looks great and is of higher quality than what it replaced. Tom handled every step of the permit/inspection process, and kept me up to date with text messages and photos of the progress. The work was done quickly, and his crew did a great job cleaning up when all was done. I literally couldn't ask for more. He will be our go to roofer going forward. I hate to even have a "go to roofer", but that's just part of living owning a home in the Denver Metro. read more

We had our roof replaced, following severe hail damage. I had four different companies come out to give me bids. All of them were good, reputable companies, and the costs were roughly the same. However, ACR stood out as the best. The owner, Tom Krause, is there EVERY step of the way. He came out and inspected our roof and noticed that the insurance adjuster had missed a couple things when he was there to assess the damage. Tom photographed everything to show me, so that I didn't have to climb up on the roof. Tom worked with our insurance company to pay for the additional repairs and it was so much easier than having to deal with the insurance company myself. Tom was in touch with me on a daily basis during the install and, if I had a question, he immediately got back to me with an answer. He was at the house during the entire process, helping and supervising the workers. He is a man of great integrity, and it is exemplified in his roofing company. read more

Tom and his team did a great job. Following a hail storm in Denver, we consulted his team about damage to the roof of two buildings. They were honest about the first, stating that it did not need to be replaced or repaired, which I appreciated after another company knocked on our door and stated that beyond doubt the whole roof had to be replaced. They assessed another building and told me that it needed to be replaced. They worked quickly to get the estimate done, work with my insurance company, get the permits and get the roof replaced. They even came to me (I live at a different neighborhood in Denver) when it was time to pick out shingles and pay the deposit check. As I mentioned they worked with my insurance company to make sure that I didn't have to pay any more than my deductible, and they fixed several code violations on the roof. They communicated well with me throughout the process and I would definitely call them again!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Tom and his company ACR. We are in the middle of selling our home and during the inspection they found we had hail damage & needed a new roof. The buyers realtor recommended Tom and I'm so thankful they did. Tom is the nicest, most honest & professional contractor I've ever worked with & he provided us with top notch customer service and our new roof looks amazing. We were under tight timelines for our house contract and Tom was so accommodating and flexible he was able to get our roof done even ahead of schedule and saved us so much stress in the process. But even though everything moved so fast Tom was extremely thorough & on top of things & was great with communicating through the entire process so I knew exactly what was going on. Look no further than Tom at ACR for your roofing needs, I will be recommending him to all my family & friends. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Advance Construction Roofing!! From start to finish, this company has been exceptional! Tom Krause, owner, and Jeff Krause, work for us, not the insurance company. Their professionalism shines through. The roof team did an awesome job on our roof! They all were hard workers, very easy to deal with, meticulous clean-up, and all went way beyond than what we expected in their work. After the job was finished, Tom Krause went beyond his duties to help us obtain more compensation than what our insurance company first paid. He didn't have to do this, but he did. Thank you for the easiest construction transaction we have ever dealt with!! I highly recommended this company every chance I get because I truly appreciate their hard work!! Easiest transaction we have ever dealt with!! Thank you!!! read more

After the horrendous hail storm in May 2017 we called on Tom to help us replace our roof. As brand new home owners we had no idea where to begin and we were prime suspects to be ripped off. Tom was prompt to respond, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the entire process as painless as possible and ensured our insurance covered every last damaged item- even when the adjuster missed several key things. The work was done thoroughly and efficiently and our property was left in near perfect condition when all was said and done. He answered all our questions and always made sure we understood what was happening. Tom was more than accommodating with our schedule and always worked around what was best for us. It's rare to find someone these days with Tom's integrity and I'm sure glad we did. read more

Great company and experience. We were weeks away from the sale of our house when the hail hit. Tom and ACR were there to save us with their prompt and excellent service. Tom corresponded directly with our insurance company and was able to upgrade the roof to the impact resistant (class 4) shingles all within our insurance settlement. Tom was on site to oversee the job and kept us up to speed all the way through the process then followed up with a thorough post job site examination with us. Tom is a local who grew up in the Denver area and not some fly by night contractor that shows up in the area following a big storm. We highly recommend ACR to everyone that we know and will call them again if we are in need of a new roof. read more

I had my wood shingles removed and asphalt shingles placed on my 1937 year old steep pitched home. ACR was the perfect choice for the job. Tom was knowledgeable and incredibly reliable. He was present for most of the process and his crew was outstanding. I was at work most of the time and Tom kept me informed of the progress along the way with texts and pictures. I was dreading this whole process and Tom made it as pleasant as possible. I was very happy with the respect placed on my property and the care that as taken to protect everything. Tom and the crew went above and beyond during and after the project. Of all the qualities ACR possessed, I was most impressed with Tom's honesty!! read more

This is a fantastic company! They responded to my call very quickly and then scheduled a visit into their busy schedule for just a couple of days later. I had a small leak in a skylight which was repaired immediately with reassurance that any additional problems would be taken care of. They even inspected the rest of the roof and took care of a couple of other problems, all for a very reasonable price! When I had a new leak appear in another location, they came right out and repaired that as well. Communication with them is fantastic and I feel comfortable that the repairs will last a long time! I recommend anyone needing roofing or siding repairs to call ACR, you will not be disappointed. read more

ACR replaced our roof in latter March 2018. We were referred through the Nextdoor app by other neighbors who had very positive experiences with ACR. Tom Krause, who runs the company, made sure we were comfortable with the entire roofing process, and happy with the crew's work. I was present during the job and witnessed the superb quality of work and Tom's extra attention to detail. Tom also took the extra initiative to make sure all the finish details were done properly and our home was returned to us with as little negative impact as possible. Tom was also very responsive to any concerns that I raised. My wife and I fully endorse this company! read more

We were in need of having a new roof installed due to hail damage. As we were searching for roofers, a friend of ours recommended Advanced Construction Roofing to us. Now, it is my pleasure to recommend ACR to you. Tom & his team were a pleasure to work with. Specifically, I appreciated Tom's professional insight, clear communication, friendliness, and punctuality. On top of my wonderful personal experience with Tom, our new roof looks great!!! We absolutely love the product that was installed. They will do a great job if you choose to let them meet your roofing needs! read more

Tom runs an honest and professional business which is hard to find these days. After the hail storm he guided us through all the paperwork to get our claim paid by our insurance company and our mortgage lender He told us exactly what he was going to do and he did it. He kept in constant communication with me through out the process. His customer service is second to none. His prices were fair and he would go the extra mile when needed. Tom made my whole experience with getting the roof replaced a breeze. Do no go to any other roofer! Tom and ACR will take care of you! read more

Amazing experience with ACR!! I contacted Tom after hours one evening, and was surprised to find him still working. He was super accommodating and professional and had us scheduled with John for an estimate quickly. Our roofing job was very small, but Tom treated us like we were a million dollar client. They were able to replace our roof the very next week! The communication throughout the entire job was AMAZING! I received texts with pictures of the work in progress! I appreciate the professional work, the crew, and speed! Would recommend to anyone!! read more

ACR is the most professional roofing company that I have ever worked with. Their communication is honest, prompt, and detail oriented. We had a snow storm coming and we needed to get a roof on our house prior to Thanksgiving. This crew was ready to go with all of their materials at 6:30 am and were able to complete 2 roofs prior to the blizzard before Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for their dedication and hard work to complete this job on a very tight schedule under crazy weather changes. I would highly recommend ACR! Thank you! read more

We have a rental property in Parker which needed its roof replaced. Tom from Advanced Construction Roofing was very responsive, giving us a competitive quote but one that included all the items we really needed. The team explained the process, got us scheduled quickly and the tenants were very happy with the results. Getting work like this scheduled from out of town is painful. These guys made it easy, were very professional and for the other properties i would have no hesitation hiring them. read more

After a bad hailstorm we did not know if our relatively new roof had sustained damage. They came promptly and confirmed that there was significant damage and offered to be available to the insurance adjuster. A determination was made for a new roof. From there the interface was handled with the insurance company to make sure everything needed was covered. They were polite, professional and patient when my insurer had some delays in processing. We are happy to recommend them to our friends. read more

My wife and I worked with ACR to install a roof on a new garage that we had recently built. We so much appreciated the great service - this company was really excellent. Tom always got back to me right away and started the work one week after the sheathing - no delays. Once the work started, the crew was extremely experienced, John did the oversite, the work was done in about 1/2 day for about 1000 sf roof. The ridges and valleys turned out very accurate and nice looking. read more
