My cousins and I went here for Sunday brunch. Although, it was packed; we only waited a few minutes. The service was very quick, friendly, and accommodating. My 2nd attempt was the Chicken Fajita omelet, biscuits, and fruit. Chicken Fried Steak tastes like it was the generic ones that you get from the Sysco food company. Little to no flavor, but these guys have a good gravy that covers up the generic taste of the Chicken Fried Steak. The hasbrowns were cold & undercooked, but I have a feeling as good as the customer service is here If I would have asked to have some that were hot, and cooked longer it wouldn't of been an issue. On my second visit, I tried the Chicken Fajita Omelet. At $8.99 for the dish, I was expecting a much greater food portion of the omelet than what I received. The did good in piling the salsa high on top of the omelet, but the omelet needs to be larger to justify it being a $9 plate. Biscuits were warm with a great taste, and the fruit wasn't saturated in a sugar syrup like you find at most restaurants. So great job with the fruit cup guys!! Yes I can recommend this place for breakfast based on the customer service alone. Just can't tell folks that they will receive anything for breakfast that is better than just average food, until I try more things on the menu other than these 2 plates I tried. read more

First off, the mermaid/beachy/sea glass is absolutely adorable. Restaurant was packed which is always a good sign for a Sunday morning at 10:30. I had eggs Benedict with tomato, spinach, and hash browns. My sweetie had eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and pancakes. Went in on a Sunday. The people were very nice right off the bat. The eggs weren't real eggs but they were good nonetheless. The atmosphere is bright and while it's small it's not cramped. I would give a 5 out 5 but they have no fish at all on the menu (as of this writing) but if you are a fan of crab/shellfish it's a great place. They were very busy and had all but 2 tables full and yet we were seated quickly and the food came to us fast and it tasted fresh and was hot not like it was reheated or heat lumped. read more

Every time I have had breakfast here and ordered the same thing it came out different. Avoid this placed totally if you are a non-meat eater. They make their potatoes on the same grill as the eggs which causes a problem for those of us who choose not to eat animals. Not a nice problem to have. Not the worst breakfast I have had (Foggiest wins that prize) but sure could be better. Last nic-pic item is there tea selection. How hard is it to have a tea besides Lipton available. I am so disappointed with this place. I live right on pretty lake Ave so I love how close it is, but today I tried to take my family who drove 6 hours to see us, and all I got was the old lady in the front and I believe the owner, was just absolutely rude. They are big on supporting the military but it's funny as an active duty sailor they were extremely rude to me and my family, I felt as if it was cause I am not Caucasian, because every other person there was treated very respectful and treated with care. It's a shame this place could've been our regular breakfast spot. I don't think I will be returning although I give one star because at least the waiters are nice read more

Almost all of their dishes are homemade. This is a local restaurant where the staff actually gets to know you and make you feel at home!!! I'm on special meal plan which requires selective menu options and always able to be accommodated by their great menu choices. If I need something I don't see on the menu or I need a meal altered in some way, all I have to do is ask. The owners name is Jeff and he is always here making sure his customers are happy. They also have some of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at restaurant (A++). The only downside is it can get very crowded as they are only one shop front wide. On Sundays you can be waiting as long as 30 minutes to get seated. Still it's worth the wait! read more

The experience we received today was absolutely absurd. We first ordered coffee and when they brought us the creamer every single cup was open and it took the waiter 15 minutes to come back to our table just to get fresh creamer for cold coffee. Then we ordered our food and my meal had hair in it so they re made it but before I got my new meal a random waiter came to our table and apologized but also insinuated that it was my hair since he claims that none of his staff has that hair color and they wear hair caps in the kitchen. You can see the staff in the kitchen and they were not wearing caps Once our waiter brought out my new meal she also brought us our ticket because everyone else at my table had finished eating. Meanwhile this waiter never mentioned we had to pay up front and I couldn't finish all of my food so I needed a to go box. Our waiter never returned to our table and the random waiter I had mentioned earlier walked by our table and we kept calling out to him so we could get some assistance since it had been over 20 minutes we last saw our waiter and he ignores us and keeps walking like we weren't even there. Then some girl came to our table and had a horrific attitude and said we needed to pay up from and snatched our credit cards and went up to the front to process our payments, and when she came back she said we need to check out (without even offering me a to go box) I would be disappointed if this was how my business ran, unfortunately I won't be coming back but I'm sure they're glad I won't be based off their attitudes. (When we were in the parking lot leaving we all noticed the random waiter from earlier who ignored us was glaring at us while we were leaving, like he was angry at us, giving us a negative impression) read more

Honestly idk what the hype is about this place lol because it was not good.As much as I wanted it to be good because my co workers constantly nagged me about trying it, and so I did try it with them. I ordered the ultimate scramble with a coffee, and boy was it nasty. The eggs inside were weird the texture of the eggs came off as fake, the hashbrowns didnt taste like anything. It was loaded with cheese, which i love but that was not good. It's funny how my friends say its soooo good. But I was not the only one who did not finish the eggs on my plate. And it was not because they were full but it's like they played over them lol. Oh and it took forever for our food to come out. And the coffee taste burnt. I definitely would not eat there again. Came here with my boyfriend and his grandparents for lunch on Friday. It was a very cute place with a beach decor. We were seated promptly, and our orders were taken very quickly. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with crinkle fries, and I was really disappointed. The chicken salad was dry, and the fries had no taste to them at all. One of the few places that makes breakfasts so large I can't finish it. It's also on of the few places that does a perfect 'over-medium' fried egg. The prices are right. The owner is one of the friendliest guys around. And if you catch her on a good day, there's a cook in the back wearing a Carolina Panthers hat that sings to the radio, so it's fun to sit at the bar. Visited this place for breakfast with the hubby. We were initially going to try Handsoome Biscuit but due to lack of seating skipped it and found our way here. Cute little establishment and pretty busy even though the weather was nasty outside. We were seated quickly. The service was just okay. Pumpkin pancakes!!! If you like pumpkin, their pumpkin pancakes are the absolute best pancakes I've ever had. And they serve them year round. Everything else I've had there is really good food as well. The service is excellent. Everyone is super friendly. The restaurant is clean and welcoming.
