Oh my gosh I love Jenna and her team soooo much, they are the absolute best! I have always been so impressed with Sanctuary Boutique Salon and have been a longtime happy patron here with Jenna. The service is incredible every single time and the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. I always feel so comfortable in the space and with everyone around. Upon arrival everyone is offered a beverage of their own choosing from water, beer/ wine, and spirits. There's a very fine diverse selection of spirits in the beautiful liquor hutch that always has some of the greatest whiskey I've ever had. There is a little coffee station too I have gone to Jenna for my previous hair cuts, undercuts, and installing synthetic dreadlocks for the last few years. She has always taken such great care of me and my fiancée whenever we visit and does a fantastic job. We are currently working on my first row of natural dreadlocks and I couldn't be more excited. I have wanted them since I was thirteen. It's nice to finally cross another thing off my wish list. I will forever continue to support Sanctuary Boutique Salon for as long as I can, and continue recommending them. They are my favorite Salon team and go-to for a wide variety of services. JENNA IS AMAZING! She did my hair and makeup for my WEDDING day and I felt beautiful!...Prior to the wedding day Jenna did a consultation, I let her know that I wanted to look like myself, just a more glamours version :) She had a ton of great ideas, however I did not feel pressured and she allowed me to choose what I felt comfortable with. Jenna cut and colored my hair a week before my wedding as well. On the day of, I arrived at the salon and she was prepped and ready to go. She thought through every detail and the end to end experience she provided was awesome. Another very important aspect of Jenna is her personality. She is extremely supportive, upbeat, positive, extremely organized and down to earth. Key personality traits for the most important vendor you will hire on your wedding day. Jenna finished ahead of schedule, my hair and makeup kept beautifully all day and late into the night. My makeup looked flawless in every photo!! Jenna was very affordable as well....I don't have enough things to say. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JENNA if you are looking for a hair and makeup stylist for your wedding or your everyday needs. Jenna also arranged for one of her other stylist to do my bridesmaids hair. They both flew in from other locations and weren't able to do consultations prior, however they arrived with a few photo ideas the morning of. It's been 3 years or so since I started going to Jenna at Sanctuary Boutique Salon and Jenna is amazing. She got my hair color back to the red I love after COVID shutdowns happened and I decided to color at home (yes I know not a great idea) & ended up darkening it to much. After numerous appointments of my going back and forth with going a little browner, & no I miss my red which she patiently put up with we finally have my hair how I want it. I honestly won't go anywhere else or let anyone else touch my hair. I've told her she can't retire until I'm an old lady who doesn't want red hair. Lol. All the other stylists are amazing and just as good from what I've seen when I'm at my appointments. read more

On Thursday, I went to the new salon, Sanctuary for the first time to meet with Jenna who does my dreads! I've been seeing Jenna for a year now so I was excited to check out the new shop! For my first time in the salon, I was super impressed with how open and spacious the salon is. There are 5 stations for hair services, as well as a washing station, lounge/waiting area, and a back color bar. Everything boasts a very relaxed "urban earthy" vibe which is super cool down to the acid washed floors. There is a refreshment bar including water, coffee, tea, and wine! As for parking, there is a small lot out front but if full there's plenty of street parking. As for services, I was visiting Jenna for my 1 year maintenance session for my dreads. I will never go to another person because of the time and attention to detail Jenna puts into each and every dread. She hand crochets each dreads: tucking in loose hair, straightening and tightening the dread, and making sure all looks good and healthy. My dreads were started by Jenna - all natural: no waxes or products, no rubber bands, no rip and twist. Just hand crocheted. Her prices are super reasonable, in my opinion. I love going to visit Jenna because I know she takes the time to put in the detail and really cares about her clients. I went here because I saw great reviews . I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted . The person said they can do that . When it was finished it was nothing what I asked for and wasn't styled at all with a blow out . I was very disappointed and now have to find someone to fix the bad haircut . Yes it looked very nice in there , people were nice but the language used was very unprofessional and embarrassing. I guess I should've known seeing other people's haircuts not being up to date before my turn . read more

Jenna just opened this awesome midtown boutique, and is an amazing hair stylist and I will never let anyone else touch my hair and beard as long as she cuts hair! She does an incredible job with a scissor cut (not clippers like 99% of other mans hair cuts) on my curly unruly hair. She also does an excellent beard trim! I have a fast paced high profile job that involves a lot of meetings and my appearance has always fit my needs thanks to Jenna. Also, she is just a great person and our conversations are always genuine. I went to Jenna with some Jacked up Dreads I had just gotten done and she worked her magic and gave me the exact look I had imagined! Shes a magician with dreads, amazing with color, does awesome wraps and is a pleasure to be around, which is super important when you're there for a few hours getting maintenance.
