Don't let the slightly sketchy decor deter you. This place is good. We had the gyoza, spam musubi, and Spicy Super Shouyu Tonk Ramen. The gyoza were lacy fried crunchiness on one side and pillowy soft dumpling on the other, wrapped around spicy soft pork. The wasabi dipping sauce with the musubi was amazeballs. Then there was the ramen. The mother f*cking ramen with its perfect house-made noodles, gorgeous pork, and soft boiled egg. 10/10 will go back again. In fact, we planned a double date, and I booked a girl's night out before we even made it out the door. read more

Personally I wasn't as big of fan as my husband, however he really enjoyed it so I'll give it a 4 Star so it's half my opinion and half his! Idk if I'll be back, but he goes almost weekly with his coworkers read more

Best ramen place I've had in town, expect a wait. Fresh made noodle is very good and the broth flavor is complex. Large groups not recommended and best to go during off peak times. Definitely will be back! read more

Not sure why this place has nearly five stars. It is DEFINITELY not good for groups. We went with a family of 8 adults and two children and he basically told us we needed to leave because he couldn't fit everyone even though there were multiple large empty tables. We ended up splitting the group up to please the owner. Food was just okay. I was excited to try this place because of the reviews. I love ramen and I've had far better elsewhere. I will say my sister in law got the garlic ramen and it was the best at the table. I won't go back but the garlic ramen was worth a repeat. Summary: food was just okay, owner seemed aggravated but was a bit nicer toward the end of the meal, not kid friendly. Prices are normal for the large portions of ramen you get. Will not go back. read more

It's ok... not great. Food lacks flavor..but the staff is super nice. We were there when they were newly open so they didn't have tea or beer. Walls had not been painted.... It's a little dirty. read more

We go once every month. It is delicious every time. It has that small business, "owner works there every day" charm. Probably because it is and he does. I love the spicy super and the gyoza is fantastic. Try the spam musubi too. read more

This Ramen is fantastic and the noodles are made fresh daily. The Takoyaki is delicious, as well as the sumo bowl the service is fantastic, fast and friendly. The Hakata Tonkotsu ramen is sooo good the broth is excellent and the whole bowl is very flavorful. read more

Extraordinary in every way! I always make it a point to eat at this amazing restaurant every time I'm in the area! Trust me friend....you will love this place, the outstanding food and friendly staff! Just Do It! You can thank me later! Steve Motley read more

Glad we have a yummy ramen place in the neighborhood. Great ramen, friendly service and you can also buy their fresh ramen noodles! I've gone twice and will definitely be returning regularly. read more

Went in just after they opened. Very good ramen. Glad there is finally a ramen place in the south of the slc valley

My daughter send us food from Samurai Noodle in Draper because we have covid. In the picture you can see that there was literally 2 small thin pieces of pork, 1 piece of seaweed. We had 3 of the same thing. There was literally 95% noodles and the rest of it was broth and the other things in there. The noodles were good, but the meat was gone in one bite. After I ate the other things in the bowl, I was done with the noodles. I threw the rest away. I called the restaurant and asked to talk to the manager. And the person answering the phone said he wasn't available and he took my number to have him call me back. That was day before yesterday. No call! Very bad business. I truly do not understand all the good reviews. While the noodles were good, if you are into that much carbs, I would have been satisfied. But my daughter paid for something and she didn't get her monies worth. I was embarrased to tell her. read more

So good!! The gyoza was amazing....loved the filling. My husband had the spicy miso ramen and said it was delicious. I had the spicy tonkatsu...amazing!! We will definitely be going back read more

Great noodles and good service- the spicy ramen broth could be more flavorful but the mushroom ramen was amazing. The sumo bowl was great and our kiddos loved it. According to the host, the menu will continue to grow in the coming weeks - they're already off to a great start! read more

Back in LA ramen shops are as common as churches are in Utah. Samurai lives up to many of those spots in LA, and blows the doors pretty much all the shops in SLC. Tankatsu ramen and Samurai bowl were on point. Now all I need is for Samurai Noodle to join Door Dash so I can order in once a week! read more

A few weeks ago I was praying to the heavens that a good Ramen place would open in Draper. This place is legit I just had the best ramen bowl of my life. The eggs was perfectly cooked. Do you know how hard that is? It was perfect. The pork was really tasty as was the broth. I can't think of a better place to eat dinner or lunch on a cold day this winter. Who says prayers go unanswered? read more

My teenagers liked this place much more then I did. I felt like the flavors are muddled and a little boring. I felt like the price was a little high. I am a big fan of pho and this definitely didn't make me change my mind. read more

The Ramen here reminds most like ramen shops in japan. The flavor of the spicy tonkotsu ramen is so delicious I enjoy it every time. Only thing missing is it's hot but not steaming hot where you have to slurp it like they do in Japan. That's probably best considering slurping in US is considered rude. Love this place!! Their Karaage is so good! read more

The restaurant is clean and the server that seated us was very nice and accommodating. He was happy to offer suggestions on which noodle dish to choose. We ordered the Fried Chicken appetizerwhich was disappointing. Chicken was dark meat and fried so long it was dark brown in some spots and tough. We shared the Super Shouyu Tonkotsu Ramen. The noodles were delicious, but you should add extra noodles because they are sparse for a "super" dish. The broth lacked depth. It is supposed to be pork and chicken and I could taste neither. I will return to try the spicy noodle dish. While you are seated by the server, you are asked to go to the register to pay. Odd. Three stars and I will update after my next visit. read more

This is a place you will find consistently good ramen. The dining room is reminiscent of a fast food burger joint but that's easy too look past. The staff is a little inexperienced but are always friendly and open to suggestions. Come check this place out! read more

Garlic ramen is a dream come true if you are a fan of garlic. We also had the gyoza and takoyaki which were both good. Dipping ramen was OK. Their in store menu is a little different from the online one . read more

Service was great and so were the potstickers but I was disappointed in the noodles. They were a little too crispy for my liking.

I would say this place is average. On the up side is excellent service very large portions. The noodles are not as big as JINYA and the broth is not as good as TOSH but if you need ramen and live around this location then it's perfect. read more

Great Ramen!!!! Very friendly staff. The noodles are made in house and the broth is very rich and tasty. You'll want to come in earlier since the place fills up pretty quickly. read more

Fantastic ramen house in sandy/Draper area. Has really good service kids absolutely loved it. Obviously popular but not too crowded on a Saturday lunch. read more

The food is delicious and the service is very friendly and helpful. I had the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen - yum!!! My husband had the Sumo Bowl and the flavor was amazing! We will definitely come back - and probably quite often!! read more

Great ramen noodle shop, love the flavors! I gave it a 4/5 only because the seating is not that friendly, small tables, great for kids. But the customer service and the food are great!! read more

Nah, not for me. Noodles taste like flour, and it makes the broth taste off. Something was funky with both of our ramens (tonkatsu and spicy tonkatsu) and we tossed them out (ordered take out). Edit: became violently ill late last night after eating some of that ramen. Yuck. Not good! read more

Having eaten fantastic ramen in Hawaii, LA, and even in Salt Lake (Jinya), I can say that Samurai Noodle stacks up to the competition. It's nice to have a great ramen spot in the south end of the valley. They have healthy portions and make fresh broth and fresh hand made noodles every day. read more

Samurai Noodle - Ramen Near Me - Draper, Utah

I'm sure the food is great but unfortunately we ran out of patience and bailed. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated (not terrible) but then we were ignored for at least 20 minutes after being seated. What was frustrating was several tables that were seated after us had their order taken well ahead of us. It seemed like the wait staff was just lost. read more

We got a gift certificate to try this restaurant. We took three kids with us and we all got something different. We got gyoza and takoyaki for starters. The takoyaki stole the show. My husband and three kids who don't like anything fishy LOVED them. We should have gotten two orders for the table. I have been DESPERATE for decent ramen in Utah, especially in the south valley where I live. From the outside this place is quite unassuming. We walked in and we were immediately greeted and seated. The interior could use some upgrades. The seating was like a fast food restaurant and it was a little uncomfortable but the minute we got food, no one cared what the interior looked like. The stand out ramens were the spicy miso, tampopo shouyu, and the super shouyu tonkotsu. The broth was AMAZING in all three. We are for sure going back! read more

We were seated quickly by a server who then disappeared! After waiting for 20 minutes and by seeing a single server in the restaurant we cut our losses and left. Sad! read more

The ramen was super good and the takoyaki was really yummy. The people working were super friendly and nice, a little on the expensive side but worth it! read more

Nice to have a ramen place in Draper. Very friendly staff. Basic seating and decor. The pork broth is amazing and good ramen noodles. Best pork cutlet I've had in a ramen. Other ingredients are used sparingly. Also had some great gyoza and standard edamame. I'll be back to add to my frequent diner points. read more

I've had some extraordinary ramen lately, so when I visited SN, the bar had been set pretty high. I read that they make their own noodles (cool!). I was hoping to see their noodle machine in action, but it was too late in the day and they were already done making noodles. The decor and seating feels a little more like a fast food joint, than a restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive. I really like the gyoza, it was crispy on one side and the filling was savory and satisfying. The ramen noodles were excellent, much more "al dente" than your typical ramen. The broth, however, was not nearly as rich as I had hoped. I found myself adding soy sauce to it because it was a bit bland. For a moment, I wondered if it came from a packet? Considering Draper has no other ramen places, this is a good option if you don't want to drive into SLC. But there are definitely better ramen places in the city, if you don't mind driving a bit further. read more

Great place the broth and noodles are very good, the service is lacking a bit but they are new and the servers are really young so I'm sure the service will get better (and it's really not bad, they're just inexperienced). So go with the food, and don't be a DICK If the young kids forget about you. Just call one of them over and they will apologize and be super nice to you. read more

I tried this place for the first time the other day. The food was amazing! The staff were all friendly and service was quick. The only thing that would have changed this to a 5 star would have been a little background music. Something to clear the silence. But don't let that stop you from trying it out! I'll definitely go back read more

We love Sammurai Noodle! The owner, Lance, is always attentive and eager to explain the menu if asked. The food is perfect for a cold winter's day or a hearty summer fare. New ramen noodle restaurant in town. We had two different ramen soups and thought they both tasted like the ramen noodle soups we had in Tokyo. They are still soft launching so service is just a little slow but they did take good care of our party. Recommended! read more
