I also got a boba. I am happy to report that everything was perfect as usual. The sushi was super fresh and I can't wait to try all the things on the menu one day.

But I've been on a ramen kick lately, since I discovered it a few months ago, so I had to try it, just to say I had, then I'd be done with it. I got a Spicy at #6 hot. I love it. It's got flavor. It's silky. It's got enough pork to satisfy (some places are chinche on the meat). The noodles are nice. It's filling. I'd say it's better than at least 3, and maybe 4, of the other places (all restaurants) I've tried. I'm a fan! And as a side note: the owner dispelled all my fears about the sushi. He's owned restaurants (2) for 15 years, he strikes me as a master. I'll get sushi next time.

When I finally called, an employee unlocked the door, yanked it open without a word before throwing it closed again, leaving me outside, and then she watched me struggle to drag all my bags inside. The customer service from that woman was actively hostile, snappy, and completely dismissive. When I asked about vegan broth options while wearing my Star of David, she literally told me I could choose between miso or pork--completely missing the point of plant-based options. To top it all off, she dropped the check on my table before I had even finished eating. My first set of chopsticks was also moldy, and the second set I found on a different table (not pictured) had a green spot. The only redeeming part of the entire experience was that the male staff member was genuinely kind. While I enjoyed my ramen, I didn't feel treated like a human being, so I don't think I'll come back.

First, entering we were greeted by the servers who were smiley and friendly. The restaurant is decent sized and pretty clean. We were a little confused why it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. We were only one of three groups that were eating there. I am gluten free so I'm use to not having a ton of options and usually have to stay away from most of the sauces used but, I was able to order a few roles that are gluten free both naturally and/or after asking to not add a sauce. I was pleased to know they treat gluten free orders very cautiously and carefully. The roles are a good size, the fish tasted fresh and the flavors were great. Aside from the extremely long wait, the food was decent so we wanted to give them a second chance. Our second visit was much better. Greeted kindly again once we entered and sat right away. Our server was attentive and speedy. Our food came at a much better timing and the quality was consistent with our first visit. The prices are average, the quality of the food is good, servers are friendly and it's worth giving a shot
