Dropped in to grab some quick fuel on a Saturday. Was not busy and it smelled tasty . They have good options and combos if you want chicken and beef or shrimp and beef etc It's very similar to meal prep style food , protein and some veg . read more

This place is our go to! It's hard to find authentic Asian food in my area but since finding this place it had been my go to as a mom who doesn't feel like cooking! Our FAVORITE dish is the teriyaki salmon, it's always cooked to the PERFECT crisp and combine it with the rice and vegetables mmmmm! Some times the salmon runs out so our next choice is the chicken! So yummy! The service is quick when taking orders, all orders are made to order so there is a little wait while they cook it but it's totally worth it. Food was horrible. If your menu focuses on just meat, rice, and vegetables then you would think it would be great. I ordered the beef and shrimp. Order was oily, over sauced with teriyaki sauce, and the lack of shrimp. Rice was over cooked and just zero flavor! No salt and pepper at the tables and horrible service. As a chef, I value customer service and love into the food. This place doesn't deserve one star. read more

The food was ok, I'm not a big fan of Teriyaki but I gave it a try. The amount was enough for me to eat and take half of the plate home. The meat portion was big, in my case chicken and shrimp, but the rice was very mushy. The not very helpful cashier and not very friendly employees was what really shocked me. Seriously, a little smile and "How I can help/you today? " goes along way. Do not stand there and look at me like you are force to be there and hate your job. read more

Plates are pretty full and fulfilling as well. We are here at least once a week because we like it that much. Clean environment. Friendly staff. Only downfall is most of the time there's only one cook, a lot of times he's the only one there and gets bombarded w orders so we wait long He's still very nice tho. I get their chicken & beef, veggies, & white rice and then order a shrimp & noodles to all share. For beverages they have tons of flavors in Ramune sodas (the marble ones), FOCO brand fruit juices, Coke products, and then a selection of fruit smoothies. You can either mix the flavors, or not. I get Peach Mango if I do end up ordering one. For our family of 5 we will we spend about $60-$70. 4 plates & drinks. read more

I love this place for "fast food". I like that it is prepared on the spot. We used to go to a place in California similar to this, so im very glad we found this spot. Love it! No respect for the ingredients. One of the few times in my life I threw my food away after only a handful of bites. I really wanted to like it but, bones in the meat, soggy rice, tepid vegetables, all under a banner of the most bland "flavors" collected on a plate. The worker making the food takes a call (without washing hands) midway through fulfilling three orders, it would gave been insulting, instead it was symbolic of how there is no respect for the food. The beauty of Teriyaki is it's simplicity, and this is the first time I've witnessed that not everyone can (or should) do it. read more

This has become one of our favorite places. We had a spot in South Towne we loved but when we found this and so much closer we gave them a try. The owner is such a nice guy and boy do him and his cook know how to cook. If you haven't tried them you have to. If you ha e tried them and enjoy please give them as much support as you can. The food is hot and plentiful. This isn't a super quick stop so if you're looking to order, get your food, and be out the door within a couple of minutes this isn't the place. Everything is cooked to order. The grill is up front and visible to customers which is a bonus. read more

I love to come here after work! The food is fresh and cooked just right! I love that I can add extra Teriyaki sauce too. These types of places are usually only found in the mall food court so I'm really happy that I have such easy access to them. The staff is always friendly and the food made fast and fresh. read more

When I looked at the reviews there were only 2, one was great the other was terrible so I figure I had a 50/50 chance of decent food. The person that said it was terrible was telling the truth!! Super overpriced, we paid $35 for 3 bowls and a side of noodles. They employee said that all of the bowls are teriyaki flavor , there was NO FLAVOR (None at all!!) I even asked for extra sauce and there was still no flavor. The staff was rude. I'd say the only good thing about this place is that it's clean. read more

I agree with the other reviewers- it's basic Japanese food court food. The sauce tastes like salt and sugar syrup? I liked the texture of the chicken. Average mall food. Also of the 3 employees, one was not wearing a mask despite mandate for salt lake county. And I got a weird uncomfortable vibe in there... the staff seemed unhappy. read more

Okay I don't have any idea why this place has any bad reviews??? I come here with my Family about 2-4 times a month and it's soooooo good!! It's just the the mall teriyaki chicken but without having to go to the mall! It's a great easy dinner!! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming!!! The cost is so reasonable and you get a lot of food for the price! Don't let the bad reviews steer you away! It's good!! Side note they are so accommodating to the fact that I don't do rice or noodles and load me up on veggies!!! read more

The place was clean and the staff was very kind! But I found the food flavorless. They have a lot of options, which is nice. I got chicken teriyaki with fried rice and veggies, and the guy suggested getting "extra sauce", so I agreed. I watched him pour 3 ladles of viscous sauce on my dish. As I went to eat it... I swear it all tasted the same, there was no differentiation in flavors. Based on the way the sauce looked, I was expecting it to taste like Mo' Bettahs sauce... nope. It just tasted... brown. I have no idea how to describe it, but it was all very bland. Honestly I'll probably try this place one more time - maybe they were having an off night. read more

I want to state that I have been here a few times and found out that the service is so bad because of the owner. He keeps all of the tips for himself and doesn't tip the staff. DO NOT TIP if you go in. The cashier will actually hit zero tip if it's not the owner. The food is simple and definitely over priced. I don't hate it but it could be better. The biggest concern I have is based on the lack and care the owner has for his staff and the restaurant. There has to be quality issues with the food.I have stopped eating at the restaurant and hope that they can move on and bring in something the community can enjoy and that treats its staff and community with respect. read more

I love stopping by here when running errands in the area. They are quick and the food is always fresh. It's definitely convenient having a place like this that isn't located inside the mall. They have definitely improved on the flavoring of the food and the friendliness of the staff compared to previous reviews. I was greeted by a very friendly worker and the food tasted delicious as always, wasn't mushy at all. And on the plus It is always clean in the restaurant with plenty of seating to social distance. read more

Food was fast but not good. I got the chicken teriyaki. The chicken had a light breading on it but it was soggy and the rice was mushy and the whole thing had no flavor at all. I had to drowned it in soy sauce and still only ate about a third of it. My husband got the same with shrimp and the shrimp was pretty good but again mushy rice and no flavor. We probably won't go back again. read more

I had tried this place several months ago and was not impressed. I wanted some Teriyaki chicken and really didn't want to drive to the mall so I decided to give this restaurant another try. WOW. They have changed something and I was very impressed this time. So delicious and this time they had a regular menu item that includes 6 shrimps. Maybe it's a different sauce because really it's sticky rice with the steamed cabbage and mixed vegetables. Not too difficult here folks. The portion size of chicken was large it was juicy hot and just amazing delicious food. I would recommend this to everyone. Oh and this place will gladly give you 2 extra scoops of their sauce with a smile unlike the place in the mall. Yea they will give you 2 also but the last time maybe the man behind the counter was having a rough day. He wasn't as friendly as this place is. read more

The staff is attentive, kind, knows the menu well, and is always happy to answer questions. I also love how much they've expanded. The ambiance is great, the decorations are really nice, and it feels like a place they've put a lot of care into.
