I ordered New York Strip medium with a baked potato, it was PERFECT!! The steak was so juicy and lots of flavor. Husband had the ribs, which were also AMAZING. They were falling off the bone, very tender. We also ordered the cowgirl drink, very good. It wasn't to strong. Voted my new favorite restaurant! read more

Although I knew that I was ordering something that was not their best (crawfish salad), there's NO excuse for poor service. I had to ask for water twice. I gave up on the lemon. When the waitress acted as if we were interrupting her evening. The quality of the food was terrible. The crawfish were tough. We ordered a meal to go and it was equally tough. read more

We were visiting the Emerald Coast Zoo and stopped here for dinner after seeing it on Yelp.. best decision we could have made. Hands down the best steak I've ever had in my life! So good that I'm writing my first review AND planning to go back for a second time this weekend.. Driving all the way from Panama City just for dinner because it is WORTH IT! We really found a gem, I'm just upset that it isn't closer and easier to enjoy more often. read more

We were staying at a hotel and Samual's was right next door. My hubby had the seirloin steak which was extremely thin. The two sides were baked potato and a salad with a roll too. He said the steak was not the best but the sides were good. I had the crab claws sautéed which were pretty good. There was no consistency in the size of the claws though. We did this take out. We had to ask for utensils geez. read more

seating, great waitress(Sally), got to eat all my salad before my main meal came. Steak was great! Highly recommend

Driving thru and stopped- service began slow, indifferent and confused. ("No, I did not order a salad, but I will take some bread.") Local amber draft was good. Steak was OK, done medium rare as ordered, a bit thin cut and cooked with Worcestershire sauce, or something. Scallops were fine. Steamed veggies were overcooked, and music was country fried, but what do you expect for a place called roadhouse? read more

Great food at a very reasonable price! My filet was perfect The staff is super friendly and aim to please This is a Crestview gem for sure I also love the western atmosphere This is a perfect date night spot for those on a budget or on military payroll! Lol read more

Great steals great service. This will for sure be a staple in our weekly dining. Ashley was a terrific server and the management should be proud to have her on the team. Yummmmy! read more

If you love the purity of a great steak without a lot of fanfare, try this place. We stopped on a whim and coming in the door wasn't really sure what to expect. Does not have a lot of frills or artistic ambience, but the service was prompt and I cannot tell you how satisfying and delicious my strip steak was. Truly delicious. We had the sautéed crab claws as an appetizer. There was a generous portion that was simply prepared. Nice start to the meal. Followed by a house salad, nothing special there, then the 7 oz strip (seemed larger frankly) and a sweet potato that was baked to a perfect fluffy cloud of yummy topped with butter. My only critique would be that the wine selection was very limited and I love nice wine. But my husband said the iced tea was excellent. Definitely recommend this spot if you want to enjoy a great steak! read more

We were traveling through and stopped for a quick dinner. Kayla served us immediately and the food was excellent!

A great place to go with friends and have a good steak dinner at a reasonable price. Love the theme and the whole crew makes you feel like family read more

Samuel's Roadhouse - Steakhouses Near Me - Crestview, Florida

We have eaten at Samuals Roadhouse on many occasions, the food has always been really good, that's why we made it our go to restaurant in Crestview. Tonight we went there for father's day dinner and I really wish I could say everything went well, but I can't. My wife ordered ribs and my daughter a steak, there meals were good as usual. I ordered country fried steak and it was over cooked and sent back in to be replaced. The server returned with the French fries that were on my plate. I took a bite out one and sent them bake and asked the server to bring our fresh fries with my meal. He returned with my meal and the country fried steak was perfect but one of my fries had a bite out of it, I assumed it was the ones I sent in to be replaced and the server told me he had thrown the old fries away, so why was there a bite taken out of my food, did he not throw them away or were they someone else food that was also sent back. I demanded to talk to the owner who after getting in my face to me it was broken in half and no bite was taken out of my food. Basically calling me a liar. I will be turning this over to the Health Department in the morning. EAT THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! read more

Wonderful NY Strip! Tuesday evening, no lines, super service. I live in Crestview so this will be the first of many!

I was gonna rate 0 food is bad, the presentation is very poor seats are hard. Steak is full of fat and greasy my scallops dry. Never recommend this place. read more

Sat down waited about 15 minutes for a waitress although didn't seem very crowded for a Sunday dinner. Ordered food I got half shrimp blackened it was cold when it came out. I won't go again, waited too long for a Ryan's of crestview meal. read more

Everything was amazing. We were seated quickly and got our food quickly. The staff are all really nice, and the steaks are so juicy and cooked to perfection. The prices aren't back either. Seriously, there is nothing that my family and I didn't like. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. read more

Not great...service was extremely slow and the food was over priced for what you get. I wouldn't recommend this.

Hello! The food was so yummy, everyone at our table enjoyed it a lot! From grilled fish sandwiches, to pork chops, mahi mahi, and the delicious crab claws for appetizers it was an excellent experience. Our server Tanner was very nice, professional, and very informal of the menu! Don't forget to try the peach cobbler for dessert! :) read more

This place is absolutely horrible. It took us exactly 45 minutes to get an orange juice. The restaurant forgot to order one of our plates. The total experience was 2 hours and 7 minutes (it took about 80 minutes to get the food). When the manager asked if there was anything he could do about the missing meal, we told him a pitcher of beer would be nice ($8). He replied, no I'll get you a glass of beer. There were 5 of us drinking beer. This place will never get my business again. Our first experience was very similar and we were hoping it was just a fluke. NEVER AGAIN! read more

we stopped on our way back from new orleans. they put us in the back so they forgot about us, but once they found us the food was delicious and service was great. Great prices too! read more

By far best steakhouse in crestview, not to much competition out here, however overall still a good place to eat. Pricey but still a good portion of food. read more

Excellent meal steak was delicious grilled shrimp was delicious not to mention the baked potato. Reasonably priced caring and attentive staff will comeback next time in Crestview read more

Decided last night to give this restaurant another chance at Furnishing a great steak. I must say I'm just as disappointed this time as I was the last. Their prices are high, salads have no tomatoes in them, steak was full of Gristle and certainly not worth the price, service by the waitress was very poor since she completely forgot to bring out two appetizers that we ordered. She offered to bring them out after we got our meal, of course it was too late by then. I am patiently waiting for a good Steakhouse to come to Crestview because right now this one is not worthy of a good review. read more

While driving to Pensacola - started to get hungry and wanted something hardy! This place popped up via Siri and we went! I had the Black and Bleu burger (made with all sirloin) with a spicy sauce! So great!!!! I also had the twice baked potato and it was yummy as well! Our waitress was so helpful suggesting items to try on the menu! I think you should give this place a chance if you are in the area! read more

Outstanding local restaurant. Food was great and the service was incredible. Stumbled on it while driving home. It will be on the list should I ever pass this way again. read more

Had the ribs and was pleasantly surprised. Portion was good and rub was excellent great job

We had a party of 12 and they didn't even try to seat us. We waited an hour and a half and not even seated. There were plenty of times they could have sat us right beside each other in booths and didn't. There were two children in a room that could have sat us and we weren't seated. We won't be back. Worst service ever! read more

Our first visit and definitely not our last! They start you off with brown bread & butter...who doesn't love that?! We ordered fried shrimp & a filet. The shrimp is the best we have found in this area w/ a light flaky batter. My filet was cooked correctly (med rare) and the potato was soft & hot loaded with butter & sour cream. All around, it was a great experience. read more

Very good sirloin! The service was superb. I ordered a rare sirloin with baked sweet potato and a house salad and I got exactly that (I love it when that happens). Excellent food and service! read more

Filet was best I've had. Ordered rare. Awesome. Anyone can get bagged salad and put a dressing cup on the plate or bake a potato. Simply put a good steak in a few minutes read more

Was very fast and good flavor but the steaks were small and my waitress was in another world and didn't listen to anything I asked for after after she brought our food. She walked away while I was speaking to her read more

After long road trip walked over to this restaurant as hotel staff said it was pretty good. Wasn't crowded at all and service was okay. I ordered chicken with side of Okra and sweet potato, it was the smallest one I have ever been served at a restaurant. Three bites and it was gone, okra was okay and a little under cooked. Also asked for side of mushrooms which the waitress forgot. Okay place for the price read more

Great steakhouse in Crestview, very surprised with how good the food was. Steak does not need any sauce on it which tells you two things, it's a good cut of meat and is seasoned well. Will come back again for sure read more

Read the reviews AFTER our meal -- guess the lesson learned here is do your homework first and then flip a coin on attending -- reviews were very good or very bad -- nothing in between -- our waitress was very pleasant -- but the timeliness of the service was awful -- the sides were good -- but the rib eye was gristly and the a jus was like licking a salt block during deer season -- good luck to this unfranchised steak house -- we're just passing thru -- so a return visit wasn't in the cards for us regardless of the slow service and gristly steaks read more

The food is good and not too expensive. I had the chicken strips, which were pretty good with a sweet potato and fried okra. All the food was yummy, especially the bread. The only complaint I would have is the service is a little slow at times, but I had good company so I didn't mind. read more

Got the 7oz new York strip and a 15oz beer. was really good but I don't like uneven numbers. Would give 5 stars but again that is an uneven number. Will Prob go again to make it 2 trips. read more

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight at Sammy's. I ordered the boom boom shrimp grilled and it was amazing! My steak and baked sweet potato was cooked perfectly. read more

We were half way on way thru our trip and we stopped in Crestview and picked Samuel's from Yelp. The manager suggested the ribeye and told us what it was marinated in so we wouldn't be surprised. It was great. Cooked just the way we wanted. The staff were great. As it turned out we stopped in Crestview on our way home and ate again at SR. This time I had the 6 Oz filet and my friend had the 12 Oz strip steak. Again they nailed it. I like mine cold in the center and when I ordered it 'black and blue', they came back to make sure how I defined the term. My friend liked his strip steak even better than the ribeye! read more

We are from out of town and looking for a good restaurant to take our hosts to. At first sight I was questioning our decision. Boy was I presently surprised! Shaye, our server was very friendly and right on the mark. The crab claws were delicious and the steaks awesome, thanks to Scott who was the chef that evening. When the steaks first arrived my initial thought was they were all over cooked, but when we cut into them, Wow, perfect. I ordered mine medium rare and it was exactly as advertised, red hot in the middle. This is the best steak at a very reasonable price I've ever had. Looking forward to our next visit. Good job Shaye and Scott! read more
