Food was pretty good and fulfilling the Egg Salad was pretty good but I wish it looked like picture with the toasted bread and cheese with tomato and lettuce. As you can see it's just a regular ole sandwich. The Mouthwatering Mesquite Turkey and Bacon had no bacon on it but had good chunks of turkey and was good. The sides are pretty good as well. Worth supporting local business. read more

My mom lives nearby and each time I come into town, I stop in. It's just a lunch place and they offer a multitude of sandwiches and salads as well as a soup of the day. It's all simple but all delicious. They are quick to serve and gracious and friendly! It's a modest little place but with plenty of seating. I love their egg salad and my mom loves their chicken salad with grapes. Highly recommend if you're in the Fort Walton Beach or Destin area! read more

I rarely leave reviews but I had to because I like this place so much , I've only been a few times but now it's my mom and I go to place , grilled chicken salad with cranberries pecans feta cheese and the house made sweet Italian is the perfect salad or go to , the portions are great sizes and the staff are very friendly , so glad we decided to check this place out! We were on business and looking for a place close to the hospital in FWB FL. Corner Cafe popped up and the menu samples looked heavenly. When we turned on the road we thought we had made a wrong turn, but shortly thereafter tucked away in this neighborhood was the cafe. We knew it was the cafe before we got there as all we could see were cars. A friendly school principal welcomed us outside and told us the chicken salad was a must! We ordered at the counter after reviewing the chalkboard. We got the chicken salad with grapes and feta slaw and the chicken salad sandwich and potato salad. And I tried the slightly sweetened watermelon tea! Everything was beyond good. Actually the best chicken salad I have ever eaten. Been several years since I had eaten at the Corner Cafe. I had the chicken wrap with potato salad and a fruit cup. I was not disappointed. I was surprised by the serving size. It was a good amount of food. Even though the line was a little long, a staff member walked the line and took orders. This sped up the process. Cabbage soup good, but neither of us cared for potato salad. Did like the way they took order on a to go box & then served it that way which made easy to take leftovers. One of the best spots FWB has to offer. I love coming here for lunch. The tough part is deciding what I'm going to order because it's all so good. So it's really a morph of healthy meets comfort food if that's such a thing. I'm crazy about the chicken salad with grapes. My husband is obsessed about the candied pecans. I ordered the Cobb salad, it's was very satisfying. It's a good size for the price and has a lot of flavor without making you feel greasy or too full. They are sometimes very busy during lunch hours so it can be a gamble on how long it will take to get your food. Definitely worth trying though. - p.s. some Of their sides have very heavy dressing like the Cole slaw, pasta salad, and chick pea salad. read more

You love yummy salads and staying fit, and now, with the Corner Cafe right around the corner, it's time to put down the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and eat lunch at a place that truly cares about your waistline. Parking here at 11:40am was horrendous. I would come either earlier or later to beat the horrible crowd. Of course we don't eat salads, so my friend got a sandwich and I got a buffalo chicken wrap. But they had mostly salads on the menu and the stuff on other people's plates looked good. My wrap came with two sides and I got egg salad and fruit cup. The egg salad was delicious! The fruit cup kind of had old fruits but I still ate everything anyway. Greedily indiscriminate. I know. The wrap was okay. Kind of small and weird but it was surprisingly good. I was disappointed that the buffalo chicken was cold. I strongly prefer a hot lunch and this place only seems to have cold food. But the food was decent and they recently accept credit cards via an iPad. No receipts though. read more

Great selection of Paleo soup & salads for CrossFitters!! This place is off the main drag and the only way to find it is to hear about from a friend. I was just looking for a little changeup to my Paleo nutrition plan while doing a 6 week fitness challenge with my box at CrossFit Crestview and heard about these guys on Facebook. The Paleo Cobb Salad was quite tasty and the buffalo chicken salad was full of flavor and spicy!! The main reason I gave it 4 stars is for the atmosphere. This is a nice little place. Haven't gone there for awhile, but food is still good and service is quick and friendly. My wife had the Cobb Salad and I had Chicken Salad on Wheat. The salad greens were fresh and there was lots of chicken on it. The Sweet Italian dressing was too sweet and missed the mark a bit. Didn't taste any Italian seasoning. The Chicken Salad Sandwich was good, but I prefer chunks of chicken, rather than pulverized. It was fresh though. I might try Egg Salad next time. I would recommend trying it, though. read more

The food is always great! But, with that being said, they tend to struggle from time to time. Multiple times I've tried to call in my order and the phone just rings and rings. So then I'll decide to drive there and place my order instead, and the last couple of times it has taken almost 45 minutes to receive my to-go salad. Again, the food is good but the wait times on to-go food have been a little ridiculous. read more

I am not one to post negative reviews, but I have to say this. First off, the owner was extremely rude to the young lady who serves in the military, standing in front of me ordering her food. She asked her a couple of questions about the food and proceeded to roll her eyes at this young lady serving our country. I was floored the young lady still stayed to buy her lunch. When I came up, she already had attitude and then yelled at her staff in front of everyone. Your food at best is below marginal, the chicken salad taste like Sams club, and your lettuce has rust. How do you have any employees or customers when you act like you do? Plenty of other places to eat in Fort Walton beach with zero drama. read more

Worst customer service at a professional level. After realizing a catering order I had made charged the tax (my business is tax exempt) I offered them our Tax ID in hopes to receive a refund. Well I spoke with the owner, Brigette, and she assured me that if would be taken care of. That was Feb. 8 when we spoke, I texted her my information, everything she needed to conduct the refund and she never responded and confirmed that it was done. I made several attempts to call her with no response, it's like I got ghosted by a restaurant. How does that happen? My business will never use them for catering again. read more

Everyone at the bar seemed to know each other and the bartender. But it was also inviting to a non-local which usually isn't the case, so that was really cool of them. There's a good variety of beers to choose from with a bit of an emphasis on lighter styles/IPAs which is a-ok in my book with the heat Florida has to offer. The regular blonde was pretty standard, an easy drinker. I did sample the blood orange blonde as well, but it was very fruit forward and the small glass I had had orange residue after I finished. The blueberry Pilsner was also super fruit forward but I could appreciate them not lacking on the flavor for that one since I'm a sucker for blueberry beers. Overall cool little spot in an area without a lot of choices for breweries. It sounded like they were trying to make plans to do more with the space too, so I'd be excited to see what they come up with as time goes on.

The good: great food, staff, and ambiance! The bad: we've…read morebeen to this restaurant several times but we've decided not to go back. The reason is simple: we're tired of paying $2.50 for an extra biscuit! We go there for their biscuits and gravy but the order only comes with 1 biscuit and when we ask for another biscuit- it becomes like an episode of Seinfeld! Instead of being the "soup Nazi's", the are the "Biscuit Nazi's"!
