    Shepherd's Pie & Quinoa salad
    JennMarie B.

Whoa! Incredible!!! ... Is an understatement. First timer. New regular. Wish the kombucha had a little more fizz but great taste. Shepherd's pie has so much flavor. (Potatoes on top are a little dry probably from heating to order) Quinoa is like the best I've had. Happy to try the entire menu. Everything is so refreshing and delicious. The customer service is outstanding and chill. They seem genuinely happy to be there. They are part of a veggie co-op. They order organic in bulk and provide a grocery bin for the members. Great idea! It's so close to my house. Although I figured the prices would be too much. Wow! I was wrong. The prices are fair and affordable, especially for organic food. Thank you so much Dr Frisbees for knowing the truth about our bodies and sharing your knowledge.

Cheeseburger with grass fed beef and side of sweet potatoes

I found Cafe Organic on Yelp while searching for healthier food options. My visit to Cafe Organic was great. The service was phenomenal, the prices were good considering everything offered in the menu is organic, and everything was tasty. I went with a cheeseburger topped with onion and Swiss cheese. Their burgers are made with grass fed beef and comes with a side. I chose the sweet potatoes and loved the taste. For the restaurant itself: -parking: good amount of spots and parking was easy. -inside: very clean and inviting. -bathroom: gender neutral bathroom that was clean. -service: outstanding -food taste: good If you're in the area and looking eat healthier, give cafe organic a try.

Grass-fed angus beef, cheese burger with seasonal roasted veggies

Just finished up my meal at Cafe Organic and my tummy couldn't be happier! The vibe in the place is chill and low key. I ate the grass-fed beef cheeseburger with roasted veggies, to drink I had the ginger plum flavored water. For a refreshing treat I also had the Sweet N Green smoothie with added honey because I never trust that smoothies are actually sweet enough for me to feel like I'm cheating. ‍ It's lunchtime and the place isn't super crowded which is nice, but this place is definitely off the beaten path. As a newly planted "local" I thoroughly enjoy avoiding all the tourist crowds. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I'm not too much of a talker today so I say quietly and observed the chef and cashier make small talk with others at the counter. They were all smiles as they exchange witty repartee with the customers at the counter. One of my favorite features is the tables which are hand-painted and colorful! I will most assuredly return another day!

Organic food! Hell yeah! I wouldn't have said that a few years ago, because the market for organic food used to be bland, limited and a lot more expensive. This place uses grass-fed meats, pesticide free plants/vegetables and everything else made natural. They're a small business, tucked away from the industrial areas in a little side road. It almost looks like they were a house first. They have different specials all the time, but their traditional stuff is really good. I'd you're visiting the area for a week, have at least one meal here. I ordered their shepherds pie that came with Cole slaw. The meal was delicious and at a great price. I'd eat here twice a week if I could! Their cold pressed juices are also delicious.

Found this hidden lil gem the other day and I fell in love.. great atmosphere, excellent customer service and top notch fresh food.. saw several things I liked, but, could only eat one dish.. so, just means I have to keep on visiting and work my way through the menu!!

    Portobello Mushroom Burger
    Didi N.

I always drive by it but never tried it before. Me and my best friend decided to come here one day to try it out. There are a lot of different items on the menu like salads, sandwiches, smoothies, etc. They post specials up on the wall daily. I decided to get the portobello burger. It had avocado, tomato, some greens, and cheese on it. It was super tasty, however, kind of small for the portion. It came with a side of their vegetable soup which was okay in my opinion. Added a little bit of salt and hot sauce to it and it was better. I enjoyed the portobello mushroom as it was juicy. Every bite I took had juices falling down, which is a sign of a good burger. It was an overall fresh and light burger. Burgers can tend to be a little heavy but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It is on the pricier side and I ended paying at least $10 for my burger, but it was worth it as the ingredients were very fresh. My friend had the zucchini lasagna that day and she thought it was delicious as well. I knew it was good because if she doesn't like a certain food, she will not finish it. Her plate was cleared! I tried their iced coffee with agave nectar and enjoyed it. However, make sure you give it a good stir as the nectar tend to settle down at the bottom of the cup. You don't want to drink a handful of the nectar. I also like their energy cookies (which consists of dried fruit and a variety of nuts) and energy brownie bites. Pretty tasty! The owner is super sweet. She was very friendly, as well as the staff. They were very informative on their food, so ask away! They were able to answer any questions that I had.

Three out of four of us had ordered the hamburger steaks and while we waited our waitress checked in on us, refilled drinks multiple times, and kept updating her with the status of our order. We ended up waiting for about 30 minutes when our waitress came back and informed us that the kitchen failed to communicate that they were actually completely out of hamburger steaks. She was super apologetic, asked if there was anything else we wanted, and immediately offered compensation for the issue. We all ordered something else and she got the order in as quickly as possible, came back to check in on us some more, and got her manager to comp one of our meals and some pies for us. The food came out maybe 20 minutes later and everything was hot and fresh. The fried okra was SO GOOD and the chicken was basically falling off the bone. The toast, as seen in the picture, got a little burnt, but my husband had no complaints when he ate it. Overall, our meals were great, the pies were delicious, and the customer service form the waitresses and manager was phenomenal. The being said, this restaurant would 100% be 5 stars for me had the kitchen been communicating with the waitresses. However, they did not and it caused so much unnecessary issues for the waitresses and caused a long wait time for food during my families visit. All in all, this place is worth the try especially for the price point!

These items were not listed in the menu but we were told by some locals about this special. We're from out of town and enjoyed the visit here. They also had free complimentary popcorn in paper bags inside the popcorn machine for us to eat while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. The atmosphere was decorated in military plaques and squadron emblems. One of the walls was covered in signatures from the bar's many visitors. The view through the windows was beautiful as well. The bar faces the water and there's a large grassy area out front and a beautiful gazebo to hang out under if you want to enjoy the outdoors while you're there. They have a variety of liquors and a small selection of beers to choose from. There's plenty of tables and chairs for groups of people to sit at and they also have TVs playing sports shows and bar games (darts, pool table, shuffle board, corn hole, etc) to stay entertained. There's seperate male and female bathrooms down the hall that's kept nice and clean. The staff is friendly and the food is great! We all enjoyed our dinner here and recommend it to future visitors! The first time I came here I ate the mahi tacos which I didn't like and they tasted microwaved. I gave it another chance since it may have been an off night, glad I did, the burger was good! What a crazy experience…read more We go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware regularly -- honestly, probably weekly -- so we're very familiar with BWW and what a typical experience should be. This Fort Walton Beach location was... something else. We walked in on a very busy Saturday night and there were two hostesses at the front. I wasn't greeted, but I asked if there were seats at the bar. I was told yes, so we walked all the way to the back of the restaurant only to find zero seats at the bar. We walked back to the front and eventually the hostess was able to hear us over the noise and promptly seated us at a table. And the noise was something I've never experienced at a restaurant. While walking back to the front, we heard someone screaming, yelling and clapping. It turned out to be a group of employees approaching a guest's table for a birthday celebration. One server was leading the "celebration" while several others clapped and yelled. It was incredibly loud and, honestly, didn't feel joyful or fun. It was more startling and obnoxious than celebratory. The hostess herself was wincing at the noise, and we certainly weren't the only guests who looked uncomfortable. Our server was nice enough, but the service was very scattered. She brought our drinks but forgot one. When our food arrived, we asked for the missing drink again. About 20 minutes later, when the food came out, she asked if we wanted to move to a booth. We agreed because it would give us more room. Unfortunately, the booth had its own issues. Our hair was literally blowing around, food wrappers were blowing, napkins were blowing, and it was cold and windy sitting there. We stayed because at least we had more space. She also didn't bring silverware, so I couldn't even eat my cauliflower until I finally asked for utensils. Then came another unexpected experience: while we were waiting for our food, two small boys came running down the aisle with a cardboard box filled with random bags of candy and chips, selling them to tables and servers. This wasn't a school fundraiser or anything that was explained to us. It appeared that someone had purchased snacks somewhere and brought them into the restaurant to sell. I saw Funyuns and Sour Patch Kids. At one table, one child walked around with the box while another stood back shaking a box of candy like a musical instrument. It was just... bizarre. And then, before we even finished eating, another birthday celebration started at the table next to us. Here comes the screaming again. I literally plugged my ears. The person leading the birthday song noticed me, stopped for a second and laughed, then continued. I understand that birthdays are supposed to be fun, but there has to be a happy medium. This was so loud that it was genuinely uncomfortable. By the end, we asked for a box, the check and a bottle of hot sauce. Our server had to come back three or four times because something had been forgotten each time. She forgot to get our phone number once, forgot the box the next time, and we eventually just decided it was time to leave. To be fair, it was a packed Saturday night, and I understand that restaurants get busy. But this wasn't simply a case of slow service. It was the combination of the incorrect seating information, extremely loud birthday performances, cold/windy seating, missing silverware and drinks, repeated forgotten requests, and the unexpected candy sales happening throughout the dining room. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience continued to be disappointing. At the end of the meal, we weren't given an itemized check, so we had no way of knowing exactly what we were charged for. That's especially frustrating when the experience itself was already less than great. And I completely forgot until afterward that one of our chicken wing meals was supposed to come with 10 pieces and only had 9. Obviously, one missing wing isn't enough for us to complain about, but it certainly wasn't a great detail to add to an already disappointing experience. We kept looking at each other thinking, What is happening here? We love BWW and have plenty of great experiences at our usual location. This Fort Walton Beach visit was just wow. Definitely an experience we won't forget -- although probably not for the reasons the restaurant intended.
