my wife and i dined here for our anniversary and we had such a great time! we made reservations ahead of time and were seated right away. host was kind and our server was professional and friendly. for appetizers, we ordered the calamari and the focaccia. the calamari was delicious. it was crispy, tender, and well seasoned. the focaccia bread was what seems like their pizza dough without toppings. although delicious, we were expecting that iconic focaccia shape with the dimples on it. for mains we got the linguine frutti di mare in a garlic wine sauce, and the lasagna. the frutti di mare was great. lots of seafood and the sauce was so good. i could've dipped my bread in it. the lasagna is one of the best lasagnas i've ever had at a restaurant. huge portion and super flavorful. for dessert, we had the cannoli and that was alright. nothing too special. we should've gotten the tiramisu but we can get that the next time we visit! overall, a great experience with great staff, and even better food. read more

First and foremost the manager, named Tarie (pronounced Tare-ee) is the brightest spot of this entire establishment. She works so hard and adores her customers. The food is excellent, albeit a bit overpriced for the area, in my humble opinion. BUT, they do have some incredible price/deals on wine, so be sure and research their list on the chalkboard prior to ordering. Their pizzas are made from scratch, so put on any toppings you want. The beet salad is absolutely delicious. The veal dishes are huge and well prepared. The cheesecake is a must, as it's made by a local baker. Just go, you won't be disappointed! read more

Everything was so good, I always wish with Bruschetta that you'd get a cup of the tomato's and slices of bread to avoid soggy bread but their tomato's are great, the burrata was great and the Parmigiana was large and the veal parmigiana is so tasty. Need to try this place for sure. That pappardelle is crazy good, like crazy good. The caprese is fine. Great mozz good seasoning could use better tomato's but I'm going to keep ordering it. read more

The offer wood fire pizza but we choose the chicken rigatoni with vodka sauce, lemon chicken over angel hair pasta, as an appetizer the garlic knots ( which could feed more than 4 people) the seafood Del Mar appetizer that came with a delicious homemade bread and dipping sauce. A great Italian spot we visited while at Ft. Walton! We both enjoyed our meals. The rigatoni alla vodka had a great flavor and I enjoyed the sausage; it tasted authentic. The pappardelle al porco was very flavorful from the mushrooms and cream sauce. The only downside was the service. We went to this location after having previously visited Fat Clemenzas. It was good, my son loves the calzone(I do too) my wife wasn't thrilled with her eggplant Parmesan but said it was good. While visiting for vacation we wanted a change up from our week of seafood and found this place since not far drive from our resort. We were seated immediately even on a busy evening however that's where it ended. The host forgot our highchair and then we must have been invisible as no one came to our table for quite some time to the point we were going to leave. Im guessing she was a manager stopped by asked if we had been greeted yet, she took our drink order and offered some bread (it was good). It was still quite awhile until the server came to the table. Wow! We took a chance during our first week in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and wasn't expecting much from a shopping plaza Italian restaurant but this place surprised us. Dressy - casual I would say describes the decor. Comfortable seating all around. Too many great choices on the menu to decide so we tried the two chef specials . Wahoo and sausage rigatoni in vodka sauce. Start to finish, and everything in between was just super enjoyable. Our experienced and super friendly waitress answered all our questions and even gave a brief history of the restaurant upon my request. I love to hear about family owned businesses. Enjoyed our meal here on vacation and looking for something different than typical chains. Ordered Chicken Parm as we wanted a comfort food. The sauce was delicious and robust. Also had a salad with balsamic dressing that was really good too. Portion size was generous. Only improvement would be price for entree at $27 felt $3-5 overpriced. It was a lady bug, so no. It just reinforced the freshness of the salad. Im sure its a 1 in 10,000 chance... The pasta is always a good go to. Their Vodka sauce is some of the best I have ever had. Only 3 stars because I'm an industry worker and our server never checked on us. She greeted, and took our order, then dropped off the check. Every other restaurant worker brought us everything else, not a single thing from our server, she didn't even come back to make sure everything was right and good, she just dropped the check. Understandable if you're weeded but she wasn't seen around other tables, just disappeared. When it comes to food it's Mimmo's of Fort Walton, but honestly the food is better. 10/10 for food but 4/10 for service. read more

Cute place right on the side of uptown station! Kind of feels like a mesh of a family members house and Italian restaurant, just homey, in a good way! Service was good, the wait staff were very nice and made sure we were taken care of, and recommended all the specials they were having that day. Started off with some free bread & olive oil, husband loved it, I can never really taste anything in olive oil dip so I will take his word for it lol. He ordered a margarita pizza, and said it was his favorite pizza in the area so far! I ordered the lasagna, good portion size, sizzling hot, and wonderful flavor! We did order the garlic bread rolls but the waiter didn't catch it so we will just save it for next time. This restaurant is serving up traditional Italian dishes made the right way. We started with the Caprese and Anti-Pasta platter. Excellent choices! We ordered the ravioli mushroom with truffle sauce, Veal Saltimbocca and chicken Florentine pasta. First all the pastas were cooked perfectly Al dente and had great flavor. My wife loved their brown butter sauce and my daughter the brandy cream sauce. The portions are large and have exceptional flavor. We took home a piece of the coconut cake and it was amazing. We sat there for 5 min before anyone greeted us which was really annoying. No one would even look at us or acknowledge our presence. We have for the last 5 years held military functions, birthday parties, etal. I called to make the reservations for2 5 to 30 on a Monday night. The new owner/manager called me back and said 250 room rental and guarantee him 1500 food sales. I said never have had to pay rental and guarantee anything. NO thank you.
