The service from Kimani was friendly and we really enjoyed the 49 cent wing special (M-W, dine in only) and being able to bring our dog onto their patio with his stroller. Our pup is old, and has arthritis now (hence, the stroller), so when we travel with him, if a place doesn't have a dog friendly patio, we keep going down the list until we find one that does, or we just grab a sandwich or order to go and eat back in our hotel room. I was wondering what made their nachos so "famous." When they brought out the behemoth that we soon found out was our HALF-SIZED order of nachos, I think INFAMOUS would've been the more appropriate word to describe it! That sucker will take down any man who tries to conquer it. As an appetizer, I think it could satiate at least 5 people! Unfortunately, it was just me and my husband, two very unworthy opponents who failed to carve our way through even a 5th of that giant. While it was a spectacle to behold, I feel I would've gotten much more enjoyment out of it if there were less chips but more toppings. The toppings were spread out too thin which meant an uneven distribution of said toppings, resulting in less enjoyment overall for me. You can't really go wrong with the wings at that price. The buffalo wings we had were a little spicy, very saucy, and came with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and your choice of ranch or bleu cheese dip. They were able to whip up a plain grilled chicken breast for the pup as well, which we greatly appreciated. The jalapeno margarita I got wasn't anything to write home about but I was able to get an extra shot of tequila for $5.50 since it was happy hour (M-F 3-7PM). The nachos, wings, and cocktail I had were in the 3-3.5 star range, but I bumped this up to 4 for their dog friendly patio and service. Cheers! read more

Ordered a salad completely left out of our pick up order- which is probably a blessing. The chicken sandwich- chicken patty was paper thin and half the diameter of the buns that hid its presence. This was considered a "local recommendation" by our host. We have opted not to take anymore chances on the restaurants here in Fort Walton Beach for remainder of our stay. We had BBQ chicken, Honey chicken, Margherita, and a simple pepperoni. Honey chicken pizza with honey mustard was surprisingly great. Now is the pizza crust the best I've had? No, it's a classic Pan crust. I CAN guarantee that it's better than the chains though. They also give a military discount and have good 0.49 cent wings (if you dine in). We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and Thai Bourbon "muck bowl". None of the food tasted homemade. The Thai Bourbon sauce was still alcoholic. We let our server know, but the restaurant took no steps to rectify the issue. It burned the throat and tastes bad. Alcoholic food is more than just a flavor issue, it can be dangerous for someone's health, including my pregnant wife who couldn't eat it. read more

If the Okaloosa Island Bridge is backed up and you don't want to deal with traffic, but you do want a sit down pizza place, Fubar is your place. The day we visited it was jammed. It definitely give a bar turned restaurant vibes lol but overall it was ok. The reason I took the star off is because of the price... I paid $22 for a small two topping pizza that literally only fed myself... my friend got a chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese and fried pickles and hers was $44.50 total. Okay, just to be fully transparent, this review is for the bar at noon on Thursday and Friday (yes, we came here back to back). The bartender, Pete, immediately greeted us and brought waters. Waiter brings out one persons wings 10 mins after order.. then lets the rest of us sit there with no food for 20 more mins.. and then has the audacity to come over to the table and ask "how's everything so far?"" Loved the seasoning on the fries, but the pulled pork burger had no bbq sauce at all. It was pretty dry. Asked for a side of bbq sauce and it made it 1,000x better. Egregiously poor service. We sat down and were greeted by a waitress one single time. After that, absolutely nothing. Alcohol was delivered within three minutes. In contrast, it took so long for a server to come back just to bring us soft drinks (almost 30 minutes) that we were already prepared to leave before ordering food was even in the discussion. Even when they finally came, one of the diet cokes we ordered was nowhere to be seen. If you want a drink, let alone a pizza or a sandwich here, be ready for a long, LONG wait. read more

First time trying Fubar! Went on a chilly Friday mid-afternoon and got right in with a very pleasant welcome! Very (very) casual with indoor and outdoor seating - the outdoor bar allows smoking, which we didn't realize, and the area we were in was pretty enclosed. Server was so sweet and attentive. Pizzas were great, meatball sub was one of the best I've had in a while. Definitely would go back for a quick local pizza stop - we saw the pickup window outside and will probably do that next time rather than going in. read more

We came in to eat and after about 10 minutes of waiting we had to walk up to the bar where all of the staff was standing and ask to be served. We were given menus and told that our server would be right with us, 10 minutes later the same lady had asked if our server had greeted us and was surprised when we had told her no. Finally we put in our food and drinks and unfortunately waited about 30 minutes to get two waters. 30 minutes after that we received our appetizers. This is and has always been the place to go for me and girlfriend. Good atmosphere, good people, and I have had few issues there. I have been treated with the outmost respect from those serving our community and I can't say that about a lot of places in the area since Fubar were one of the rare places that have had workers and regulars both treat me like I was their family. It means a lot to me personally. Food is great. Pizza is off the charts and they have great deals on the weekends when football is on. Love their fried pickles and Andy and the bartenders/barbacks are always awesome and working hard in a busy environment. Last but not least, I have my KJ to thank more than anything. Corrinne has been nothing but awesome to me and our community of people who love singing and karaoke. She has been nothing short of amazing and supportive to me and many others in our area. We came back for dinner there pizza looked amazing at lunch so we ordered a small thin crust pizza and a bucket of beer. It came out about 30-40 (I think it got forgotten) min later cold, hard and cheese that tasted old and moldy. This restaurant I believe have runners the server doesn't bring your food.
