We visited Coasters because we were looking for a place to play darts. It was a typical dark dive bar. When we arrived, the inside was empty, and the back bar was full. Inside, they had two dart boards as well as pool tables. The beer selection was ok. We were hoping for more dark craft beers. Regardless, the bartender was nice. We left to get pizza from across the street, and when we got back, there were a lot more people. Overall, a great evening. read more

Not so bad, little dive bar, outside is like a converted garage bar with seating so that's cool. Inside, you got your live music, pool, darts, another bar, decent seating. I enjoyed the live music, so I'd go again. Newer in town, but it seems everyone knows each other here so it must be the spot, and where people come when the other bars start to close (I was there at 1 am). Service was fair, no complaints there. Didn't order food, but did order drinks, fairly priced. Love love love their cocktail bar out back for when I'm in a sophisticated mood. When I want a more divey, less expensive beverage experience, I head inside. I went with a friend from FWB who recommended this place since we were meeting up with one of his old friends. All of the drinks were served in plastic dixie cups and the music was so loud we couldn't even hear each other. It's a typical dive bar, as others have said. In the back of coasters they make craft cocktails, I had the Whiskey Smash, if I wasn't balling on a budget I would come here and get them all the time. I believe most cocktails are about $10-14,. This back bar Is pretty good, and to be honest there aren't really any good craft bars in this area. read more

Coaster's is a local shotgun-style dive bar right on the strip in the downtown Fort. They usually have some very decent live music lined up, but in the event that they'll be keeping it under 150 decibels, there's an internet jukebox to help you sing along with lyrics while you pretend to listen to what the person across from you is talking about. It's dark and smokey, with foosball, pool and a full bar. Everything a good dive needs. The drink prices are a definite plus, too. read more

As far as dive bars go, it's hard to beat this place. It's dark and basic, but the drinks are cheap, the staff is friendly, the bathrooms are shockingly clean, and there are plenty of games to play. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it but unfortunately a employee has a personal issue with me, because we had a thing going on two years ago (nothing I've done in the bar) but words I've said to him through text,so he banned me and when the gm talked to said employee he told him he felt like there have been numerous times where I have made him uncomfortable... when in fact I haven't I got my drink and would leave we might of had eye contact but other then that I did nothing or said anything to make him feel uncomfortable so now even on his days off I can't go to the place I used to love and tipped really well. I understand the gm is just doing his job to make sure his employees never feel uncomfortable in the work place but I feel like I should be allowed to go in the days he is off and would gladly leave if he was there. Coasters is a damn-decent downtown bar with reasonable drink prices and a pretty regular crowd. Cool features include a couple of pretty nice pool tables (all things considered), darts if you're into that, a couple of seemingly very popular arcade style games, the usual touchscreen games on the bar, and a stage for the occasional live band. Also, I tend to agree with the observation of another reviewer, the bathroom(s) is(are) pretty clean, however their average client is too wasted to give a shit. This location probably isn't for everyone, but it should be. It's quiet and the atmosphere to me is cool. They don't serve food, but the drinks are excellent and they have a decent happy hour. I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD, BUT IT WON'T LET ME POST WITHOUT AT LEAST GIVING IT ONE..... Worst customer service I've ever experienced!!!! SCAMMING bartenders tell you one price (which is also listed on the wall) only to charge you twice as much!!! And the manager will do nothing to help the customer out, she could care less! I saw the specials listed on the wall. Asked the bartender if that was still the special and was told yes. Got my drink and ten minutes later the "manager" came over to tell me that the bartender made a mistake and that my drink is not a special anymore, it ended at 9 pm and I will need to pay full price! I said I would not have ordered it, if it wasn't a special and there is nowhere in the entire bar where it says the special ends at 9 pm. She said there was absolutely nothing she could do for me. She refused to give me the special price, or any deal at all. I was given no apology for the employee who made the mistake. I was completely appalled. Since when is it the customer's fault when an employee tells me and serves me the wrong thing? I feel like I was completely ripped off, I ordered a drink to pay a certain price only to be charged twice as much. When I was asking the manager why she can't help her customer out, she just looked at me like I was an idiot and walked away while I was talking to her!! I've had poor service before, but never have been over charged (which is technically FRAUD) and especially have a manager not apologize and take care of their customers. I closed my tab after that. The couple I was with and I would have ordered many, many more drinks, but we were turned off after that. They missed an opportunity for a lot of profit and long term customers over a measly drink which she could have easily fixed for me.
