This time I stopped by the Samsung Experience Store for the Samsung Galaxy x BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG" experience. I tried out a Galaxy S26 Ultra display phone and tapped the Arirang logo app with assistance from a staff member. I took my three selfies and sent it to myself. The staff member handed me a limited-edition East Rutherford Samsung collectible pin released for the BTS Arirang World Tour. It's a really nice pin and the whole process was very quick. read more

I'm a very loyal Samsung customer. My first Samsung phone was the Galaxy S4. I've gotten literally a new galaxy phone every 2 years since then with the upgrades. I wanted to get the s26 ultra and decided to do pick up at this location. When I ordered it online they said it would be ready by Sunday but I waited all day for the email. It takes me about 40 minutes to get to this store and I wanted to make it a day at the mall with the kids. I called Samsung and they said that its already fulfilled but I have to wait for the email in order to pick it up. So I called this store to see if they could mark it as fulfilled. I waited over 2 hours on the phone - twice. that's 4 hours on hold .. but it never went through. I finally gave up and cancelled my order at 6pm since they close at 7pm on Sundays. It's a shame , I was really hoping to have the phone on hand so I can start porting all my stuff over to the new phone on a weekend. I'm still a Samsung fanboy but this Samsung experience was really a let down. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: Visit Date: April 23, 2025 I like the idea of a flip phone but mine has been a bit of a pain and as soon as I can I'm going back to a flat phone. After getting a replacement flip phone from T-Mobile the manufacturer screen protector started to bubble up. Currently T-mobile is only offering me a jump upgrade they won't allow me to switch phones and I have to pay $335. They told me to go to samsung and get a new screen protector and that it was going to be free. After my last experience at samsung I didn't believe this but off I went. I ran into the same guy I yelled at last time, I apologized for yelling at him. He looked at my phone and what do you know, this first new screen protector I needed would in fact be free. I had to wait about a half hour and they replaced my screen protector. The wifi was a bit shoddy, I was using my laptop while waiting for my phone. Based on this recent experience I can update my review to 3 stars. Visit Date: January 17, 2025 I just got a Galaxy Flip Phone and it broke on me pretty fast, and I didn't do anything to cause the phone to break. I visited T-mobile on my lunch break and they told me if I went to the Samsung Experience Store in Garden City they would fix my phone screen for free as a one time courtesy. So I went in after making an appointment with one of my best friends who gets panic attacks when she's in large crowds and showed them my phone. The guy gave me some BS about me doing something to break the warranty on my phone. I didn't believe him, I yelled at him and left the store because I wasn't paying a discounted rate of $200 to fix the phone screen. I asked my friend if it was just me, she believes like me that this guy would have found any reason to say that I broke the warranty on my phone. I went to the Samsung store because my wife's phone wasn't charging. For over an hour, they tried charging the phone on their wireless charger. It wouldn't take the charge, and they said her phone needed a new motherboard for $300. We left very disappointed and upset . We headed over to T-mobile store ready to buy a new phone. However, in less than 15 minutes the representative was able to take care of the issue. No wonder the Samsung store has a rating of 2.4. They suck!! Don't be bamboozled by them. I had a deeply frustrating experience with JOSEPH J. that I feel others should know about. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted. I was deciding between 3 watch models -- but Joseph repeatedly pushed me toward the 44mm Watch 8, and at least 3 times made comments implying the 40mm version was "for women only." It felt condescending and inappropriate. When I tried to look at the Watch 7, he immediately shut it down saying "we don't even have that one" before I could even reach for it. When I asked for the online price, he vaguely said he could "get close to it." When I asked for specific prices on the display models, he dismissively told me "don't worry about the price, just pick what you want." How am I supposed to make an informed decision without knowing the price? When I mentioned that Brandon had confirmed stock, an 8% military discount, and a ~$50 trade-in credit for my Watch 3 about 2 hours earlier, Joseph simply replied "Brandon is not here" and dismissed everything. At the register -- before I even knew the total -- he asked for my ID, entered my information incorrectly, and enrolled me in insurance I never asked for. He only explained this AFTER I paid, saying he needed to "offset the military discount with the insurance." I still don't fully understand what that means. I returned the watch and went to the Queens Center Mall Samsung store, where Monalisa M. was absolutely wonderful. Everything was in stock, pricing was transparent, and she clearly explained that insurance was optional with a 15-day window to decide -- something Joseph never mentioned. The whole experience was smooth and comfortable. I ended up buying the "women's watch" Joseph kept steering me away from -- and I love it. The issue was never the product. It was the treatment. I have been a loyal Samsung customer for many years, and to date I have bought 3 Samsung phones, 2 Samsung TVs and two Samsung watches. I, like many others, have had my S22 Ultra "bricked" in a bootloop following the latest Samsung UI download. People a lot smarter than I have concluded that this was due to a corrupted file: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s22-series/6-1-boot-loop-cause-latest-official-firmwire-is-corrupt/td-p/11424003 I bought my S22 Ultra 5G unlocked 512Mb phone directly from Samsung (it has the Samsung only sea green back). My phone was working fine until it got locked in a bootloop following the latest Samsung firmware download. I really like the phone and was planning on getting the S25 when released. I was told at the Samsung store in Roosevelt Field, Garden City, NY that I needed a new battery and motherboard. Both of these are false, since my phone holds a charge and occasionally is able to boot up before going into the bootloop, and I am able to get into the download mode. When it does boot, I get a message that the UI is optimizing files before it again goes into a bootloop. This has occurred to thousands of people who got the same run around from Samsung. Is this just an engineering error or a way of forcing customers to pay for unneeded repairs and/or buy a new phone? If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's a duck. read more

AVOID SAMSUNG AT ALL COST UNLESS YOU ENJOY PAIN...LIKE DANTE'S INFERNOR PERGATORY LIKE PAIN I ordered a dryer from Samsung direct in December 2022. The dryer was delivered 1/5/23 defective, as it sounded like a helicopter when it ran. The delivery company, a third party RXO, told me I would have to take it up to Samsung. It took three separate calls, before finally speaking with someone that can help. I used the online tool to flag my defect, and was called by a rep, only to be told that I was talking to the wrong department (order support), and that I would need to talk to someone in the warranty department. Somehow I was transferred to tech support, and then I was dropped. I am resilient, so I did call two more times. Third time was a charm. Mind you this was an hour and 15 minutes of holds and transfers later. Finally Samsung then agreed to replace the dryer. I was then told to circle up with the third party to schedule a replacement. I called RXO the next day, and they said they had no note to replace the dryer and to call Samsung. So the song and dance began again. Another day, another hour trying to connect to Samsung. Another day or two pass, and I call RXO and they agree to replace the dryer. Three weeks later, 1/25/22, the dryer was replaced with: you guessed it, another dryer with the same defect. The driver told me it was common. It is now 3/9/22, nearly three months from my original order, and six weeks since the 2nd defective dryer was delivered. I receive a note every 3 weeks from Samsung saying "we are still looking into this." Currently, I am on hold yet again. Hence, I am able to draft a novel on my experience. This is it - my first bad review. What a waste of time this store is. Our phone carrier (Verizon) sent us here saying the store would have what we needed for my Samsung galaxy's broken screen - NOPE. The employees were rude dismissive and so unhelpful. They took one look at the screen and said we'd have to buy a new phone...the phone is two weeks old! It was never dropped and was in a case the entirety of its short life. What happened? A piece of SAND got into the case and somehow ruined the whole phone. The whole phone is somehow so completely vulnerable and sensitive that sand from a pocket (not even from being dropped in the sand) destroyed the entire $800 phone. What is Samsung thinking??? Samsung Experience Store - Totally worthless phone - was only 2 weeks old - Electronics Near Me - Garden City, New York

Had to take my phone to Samsung. Because I was getting these random pictures popping up in my gallery, and I didn't know where they were coming from. It was quick, It literally took him 5 minutes to show me what the problem was. T-Mobile does not allow their representatives to assist customers in store anymore because they feel the time that it takes for them to assist a customer they could be selling products. So my problem was coming from whatsapp. I was getting these random text messages that I had to block. He showed me how to activate the virus protection on the phone and scan to remove whatever viruses that I may have picked up. The store is big on and was extremely clean. The staff was personable and friendly. There was not enough personnel. I was on hold for thirty minutes, waiting for someone to just answer so I could make an appointment. However, that may have been because they're relatively new. They're located in Roosevelt field mall on the third floor, park in the purple section of the parking lot. There's also one in Manhattan. I highly recommend making an appointment because once everyone realizes that you have to go to the samsung store for repairs. They do accept walk-ins. However, you'll be there for a while waiting to be waited on, and if someone comes in that has an appointment, they're going to take them first. There was only one person in repairs and although I had an appointment, there was a person in front of me that was insisting that he setup the phone, watch and tablet she purchased with screen protectors and transfer information from one phone to the other once he transferred her data she still wasn't satisfied because installing the screen protector had to be done by her sales rep but she wanted him to do it. He finally advised her that installing the screen protector is a courtesy. It's not something that the personnel has to do only if they have time. My experience was GREAT, and my issue was handled. read more

I ordered Bespoke 4 door Samsung refrigerator on Feb 13 2023 from Samsung direct, online through an employee purchase program . I received an expected delivery of May 22, 2023 which was usual as it was 3 months out. May 22, 2023 came and went nothing delivered and no notification of delay of product. I even received and email on May 15, 2023 that my product was still on time for delivery. I call Samsung Direct and was told that they were not able to capture the amount on my credit card, which is a lie. I don't carry a balance on this card. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the call was disconnected.  I called back numerous times and talked to different representatives and all they kept doing was escalating this issue to their fulfillment team. These are the names of the representatives I spoke to Pamela Bulanadi, Simranjot Kaur, and Bhanu Priya. I am sure I'm missing some others. I was on the phone with Supervisor Pamela Bulanadi and she gives an estimated delivery date of June 4 around that date as the email trail is too long to follow. June 3rd comes and I receive a phone call that the product will not be delivered. I email back and forth with Pamela Bulanadi and she send me an email stating your order is being processed and being currently being prepared for shipment the earliest date that have available is June 22. I logged in my account and updated with todays date of June 26 and still no delivery along with the lack of an update that there was a delay in the delivery of the product. I have Samsung phones and Samsung smart watches but my family have discussed this and we will be changing over to Apple. I will never recommend any Samsung product again to my family or friends,I will discourage this to deal with Samsung. Wish I could give negative stars. I even went to Samsung store in Roosevelt field mall and filed an inquiry with the assistant store manager. Guess what she did file an escalation with the fulfillment team. I have a Samsung galaxy watch 5 and a pixel 7 phone. I had some questions on how to pair the "do not disturb" from my phone to the Galaxy watch, was well as a question on why the alarm function on my phone doesn't sound on my watch. When I first entered the vast store in Roosevelt Field, I had to search for someone to assist me, not a big deal. I was directed to a person standing in the front of the store. I guess his job was to greet and direct people, but he was so engaged with playing games on his phone, he probably didn't see me entering the store. After I asked who could help me, he pointed in the direction of a group of Samsung employees and said ask Adam. When I asked which one was he referring to, I was lectured on how Adam identifies as he/him. I left it at that without saying another word, as the greeter seemed more interested in dressing me down about pronouns than helping. Still not knowing who was Adam, I approached the group of Samsung employees and just asked openly to the group "I have a question about pairing my galaxy watch to a pixel phone, can any of you help me?" One person said "I can give you 2mins, make it quick". After I explained my problem, he said "I'm not sure", then I asked another question about the alarm and his response was "your better off selling your galaxy watch and buying a pixel watch to pair with your pixel phone" Upon hearing that, I said thank you and left the store. The service at the Samsung store is a far cry from apple stores. The apple store employees seem to pride themselves on customer service. Samsung store employees on the other hand can't be bothered with questions and would rather you buy a competitors product. read more

Samsung sent the return label to me and asked me to return to Samsung Flip 6 512GB on or before August 03, 2024. Samsung received the phone and claimed that the box was empty. Samsung won't refund my money back. I have called, chatted, escalated and written more than 10 times but Samsung still did not want to refund my money back. On July 17. Samsung sent the phone flip 6 to through UPS and its weight was 0.9lbs. I shipped back the phone through Fedex and its weight was 1.1lbs. My order number is SA103229259. read more

What an overall terrible experience! The staff here love to hang out and joke around for whatever reason while there is literally customers and work to be done. Had a appointment 1130 on 11/08/2023, Samsung staff allowed 2 people in front of me to cut the line, and my appointment was over an hour late because of the Samsung staff laziness and allowing people.to cut the line. I also added photos to show how empty the place was at one point amd I was not called because I believethe Samsungstaff was waiting for the people to cut the line, I can only picture the nightmare the wait is if more then a few people showup. Once I was seen and got the work done , changing my screen protector for my Samsung Flip 5, I closely checked the screen and noticed damage at the bottom right of Samsung Flip 5 around the screen! Samsung employee stated it's a thick smudge and will go away. I argued about this lie but then realized I would just make a formal complaint to anyone and everyone that I could have even listened to for a few seconds! I also must mention how rude most of the staff was which i had the displeasure of dealing with, the Samsung reps were very rude and condescending, very bad and poor experience, I am almost sure I will choose Google or Apple to purchase my phones amd other electronics from after this disaster....ohhhh the Samsung organization here are vendors they do whatever they want. Samsung, without a doubt, are the makers of the best and most beautiful phones. Their aesthetic and technology is unrivaled. I am so in love with my Samsung Galaxy 9+ phone. It's just amazing and the screen is gorgeous. The camera takes beautiful, high definition pictures and so far hasnt given me any troubles. I never had a phone before but now that I have one I realize how important it is. My cousin and I share a plan as she was the one who convinced me to get a phone. I will continue to purchase Samsung products as they are very durable, high quality and state-of-the-art. The Samsung store in the Roosevelt Field Mall is really nice. This store is a complete joke. I was apprehensive about going after reading reviews, but desperate times call for desperate measures. The day before my appt, I called their phone # and specifically dialed to the repair desk line. I explained the situation to the girl, what happened with my phone, which phone I have, etc. She said to definitely still come in even if my phone is older and out of warranty, that they would be able to look at it, open up the phone, run tests, check to see what's wrong, that they have the tools they need to check the phone even if plugging in the charger won't work, etc. GREAT. Kept my appointment then. Got to the store and a bunch of guys were just, for a lack of a better word, d**cking around. One guy checked me in. No one was even at the repair desk yet I still had to wait a few minutes. My name got called and the Indian guy with tattoos all over his arms barely even paid attention and just asked for my phone. I placed it on the table. He kept yelling across the room with a bunch of other guys and bragging about the hundred dollar bills in his wallet and how he has it right here, flashes his wallet, yells some more, gets super obnoxious....meanwhile I was just standing there waiting for him to finally take my phone to look at. After he's finally finished wasting my time, he proceeds to waste even more of my time. He looks at it, tries to plug the charging cable in my phone, doesn't even bother listening to me explain what happened, brings it to the back of the store, comes back out and repeatedly tells me "it's the end of the life cycle there is nothing we can do." I told him I called yesterday and the girl I spoke with at the repair desk said to still bring it in and even if the parts aren't available that they can still check to see what's wrong. He just blankly stares at me as if I'm bothering him and says that they don't have the parts so they can't open the phone or look at it. I again explained that the girl said I didn't need to decide same day if I wanted to repair it and that it doesn't matter if they don't have the parts because they can still look at it. He again just repeats the same line over and over again. Basically he was completely useless. They couldn't have made less of an effort if they tried. Samsung SERIOUSLY needs to retrain their employees if this is the kind of service and attitude they have. Really winning customers over here to stick with Samsung and be loyal. Yuck. read more

UPDATE: Changing my review from 1 to 4 stars as the store has rectified the issues. Manager Steve and Charlie took great care of me. In order to resolve the issues, I had to order the phone through the website at the store. Most of the issues stemmed from the fact that the store is unable to accommodate certain things that the online store can do. Such as trading in a carrier phone online but being restricted to only unlocked phones in-store. Anyways, they were able to fulfill their original promises. I still have to wait until April for a phone I preregistered to preorder in February, but at least I know I'll be receiving it in April because I ordered through their online store in-store which gives an ETA. The store itself unfortunately doesn't have an ETA for the 128GB Prism White for AT&T if you ordered through there (but not through their online store there). The store seems to be getting their groove down since opening a month ago and I had a more pleasant experience this time around. read more

Since they opened I've gone there a few times and can never help me with anything, I'm always referred back to calling samsung who then tells me the product has to be sent in because they can't help over the phone. I have been a longtime support of Samsung. My recent experience have changed my opinion on Samsung. I think Samsung is one of the most disgusting business in the market. I'm totally surprised that they have made it this far. I have been dealing with samsung support for the past 3 months for them to honor their warranty on a set of Samsung tags. They have been playing games that you wouldn't believe that it's coming from a company this size. First I think Samsung support is runned like an India call center scam. They would tell you it's under warranty and have you mail in the product. Once the product is received they change their story. They claim its not repairable, which I believe is a lie. They would give you a lowball price (like 20% of market value) to settle the warranty. They would do everything to avoid honoring the warranty or even paying you. I believe they are taking the returns and selling them in the black market. I wonder if Samsung headquarters know this is happening. If you need more proof checkout twitter, google, and other websites and see what people are saying about Samsung. The store overall is not bad. They do their best under the current circumstances. The service department, however, is an absolute travesty. Kept my phone for 5 days to repair. Never responded to messages. The only way to get through to them was to call the store's main number (like I said, the rest of the store seems like they have their act together). Awful experience here, Brought my aunt's phone to fix, a phone that I got only 3 months ago and I had to deal with one of the nastiest persons I have ever deal with. It was an awful experience at samsung store in Roosevelt field mall. First of all I got appointment after 20 days when I first walk in to the store. After that when I was at store on appointment day we have to wait for 20 minutes . There are many of samsung guys roaming around but no one has a minute to attend us. I bought my samsung S21 in February and had quite a big issue on June 9th which they have fixed it. But now same issue has occurred again with some added problems. That was my reason to visit the store. They have seen my phone and realizes it's a big problem with phone. My phone is still under warranty. I have requested to exchange my phone with exact same samsung s21 so this problem won't occurred again. They agree on that but lady who was working with us she told us there is a process for that and we agree for that. She told us it will take 2-3 business days to arrive new phone and someone will call you once samsung facility at Roosevelt field mall receive the new phone. I was there to get my new phone but now they have changed their words and told me I can get factory refurbished phone. I don't know what to do with this issue. It has been pain dealing with them.
