I should appologize for the delay in doing this. Greeting from Plant City Florida. I used to live in Forest Hills NY before moving to Florida. I lived there for over 23 years and the last 10 years more or less, I have been going to Mr Fixsmith. Mr fixsmith was my go to place to get anything IT related fixed. If I needed an IPhone to give to family members as gifts. The accessories there for both the IPhne and Android were great. They are the go to place there. I have two iphones, an IPhone 12 RED and an Iphone 12 Pro Max that did not want to turn on. I did have an IT place here in Florida look at it without opening it up. This my error. I called Mr Fixsmith in Forest Hills and talked to Mahmoud. I let him know of the situation and told him I'd be willing to send both phones to him via UPS so that he could look at it. The cost of the UPS was on me and that was ok. Mahmoud was great. The batteries in both devices needed to be replaced. He called me to let me know what was going on and an approximate date the devices would be fixed. He did set my expectstions which were spot on. Mahmoud is an A++ professional. I appreciated the communication. It's my experience, that kinda of communication does not happen much here in Florida. I had a trust relationship when I lived in Forest Hills and unfortunately, being here in Florida, it lessoned but not anymore. I needed a reminder of that relationship and Mahmoud showed that to me indirectly. I won;t be going anywhere except Mr Fixsmith to have my hardware fixed no matter what. Steve, you have top notch people working for you and I truely appreciate the service. BTW, the two iphones are working perfectly. I have two sisters here that are currently using them. When I walked inside I was immediately greeted and had my information taken to begin work to restore my black screen malfunction. I waited and the repair took less time than expected. I went here because of the good reviews. The service seemed fine and was done quickly to have a shattered screen replaced. Within about a week, after I left the area, my iPhone started acting peculiar. It would stop scrolling and the screen was really dark. I had to turn it off and on to get the scroll to work, but the screen remained too dark. I had to go to Apple to have it redone, spending another $100. Apple fixed it properly. I'm sure I could have gone back to fix it, but it wasn't worth driving 100 miles back to Queens. Boo. read more
