First attempt was when I called to ask how much to fix my older Imac . They basically said they didn't want to do it, that it wasn't worth it.... to them. For a business, I found that weird since customers are the ones paying for a service. I said, ok no problem. Still felt weird about it, but no big deal. There are other iMac repair places available that apparently like business. Then my wife's iPhone X needed a screen repair. I called ahead and specifically asked them for a price and was told $119 by someone named Juvencio. No other comments were made to me, no other questions. My wife takes the phone in later in the day and upon pick up is charged $151. She then tells me that she was not happy with the aftermarket super thick screen, and the colored variation of the glass. She lets whoever handed the phone over know, and then they tell her thats how it is and that original is $300+ . This was never mentioned upon dropping off before the service. THEN she gets the bill for $151. They're assumption that we wouldn't pay for an original glass makes me wonder again about their business practices. So we paid, a service was performed, and rightfully so the bill was paid. Im glad this happened to us because I USED to recommend this place to friends without having actually been a customer, but long time Ridgewood resident. Unfortunately once I needed work to be done, it wasnt as good as I had hoped for. Be aware that there are tons of PC and Mac places around, dont find the location a reason to be lazy to get a proper fix with ethical practices.

I had to wait over an hour to have my screen replaced a second time because the first display installed was not designed for the iPhone 14 Pro. It was a screen intended for the iPhone 14, not the Pro model. This mistake should not happen at a repair shop, especially when model-specific hardware differences are well documented. This exact issue happened to me previously with an iPhone 11 Pro in 2023, and unfortunately, it has now happened again. For clarity: There is only one correct display type for iPhone Pro and Pro Max models--the Super Retina XDR display. There is no legitimate "lower HD" version for Pro models. Apple does not promote or support such distinctions on their website. Anyone familiar with Apple technology understands that software and hardware are tightly integrated, and Apple updates each device specifically. That's why repair shops must provide accurate, up-to-date information about replacement screens--especially for newer models like the iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro, and 16 Pro, which require Super Retina XDR displays exclusively. As a certified technician myself and a long-term Apple user since the iPhone 3GS, I am well aware of how Apple operates. Despite the inconvenience, delay, and incorrect installation, I was still charged full price, when a price adjustment would have been appropriate--at minimum as compensation for the error and time lost. This is why I'm deducting two stars. I also made the technician aware of excessive heat generation after the screen installation, which is a serious concern. While the shop policy states that a 15-minute repair is not guaranteed, I had already waited far beyond that and should not have been charged again under these circumstances. To be fair, the technician remained calm and mindful, which is why this review stands at 2.5 stars rather than lower. I had also called 20-25 minutes in advance to let the shop know I was on my way, yet the correct display was not available in-store, causing an additional 49-minute delay. I documented this on video as well. I don't want to discredit you as a person, but the service itself reflects a lack of up-to-date technical understanding, which is concerning for a repair shop owner. Technology evolves constantly, and repair practices must evolve with it. We all learn every day--but staying current is essential in this line of work.

He told me it was a "simple power issue" and said it would cost around $50 to fix. This place doubles as a UPS Access Point. UPS left my package here after the last attempted…read moredelivery. It's a package I need to sign for and it's VERY important, so I've been trying to get it every day since Thursday (it's now Sunday). The hours posted online say they're open from 10am - 8pm (11:30 - 6:30pm on Sundays), but every time I went to pick up my package, whether in the morning or evening, they were closed! Now, I should mention that in my UPS email updates about my delivery, even UPS said that the 'retailer was not available to receive package,' twice before Thursday. I guess they only open when they feel like it? I called the number for two days (about 10 times total), and every time, they hung up on me. No, they didn't just let it ring to voicemail -- they HUNG UP ON ME. The one time I got through to their voicemail, I left a message explaining my situation, but they still haven't responded. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you're going to be unable to come into work for whatever reason, at least leave a sign on the door explaining what's going on. Or answer your phone at least once! Needless to say, I still haven't gotten my package and I am very upset about that.
