What's fun is that you're able to create your lemonade to start with your "ade" which was lemonade for me the to add your base of (water, coconut or sparkling +$1) but unfortunately they were out of coconut and sparkling which she never mentioned so I guess it was water then my flavor was one of their limited item of "Yuzu Pineapple" and it was $10 for a giant bucket which is a great deal though difficult to hold which is why I waited but was very refreshing and hit the spot as the vibe of this market was so nice with lots of seating options love this treat that literally kept me cool. I was actually looking for a different drink place (a food truck), but Taste Tea called out to me... especially because of the excellent air-conditioning and quiet, cozy environment! Service was very cheerful and informative! This business was open before the pandemic and closed a while during the pandemic. It opened up again in early 2024. I told the friendly manager, Jacky, that I needed a non-dairy drink. She said that most of the milk teas are made with non-dairy creamer... yay! I decided to get a peach iced tea with Spring Tea (instead of oolong, black, or jasmine tea), and 50 percent sweetness. It was just right!!! Now that I know about this Taste Tea location, I'll be back because they have a great Loyalty Rewards program... and free shared parking!

We stopped in on a Thursday at 2:30 to pick up some bubble tea. It's located in a strip mall but the Taste Tea is literally a hole in the wall. There's also only one person taking orders and making the drinks, so it does take a while to get your order. I had the wintermelon tea with big/small tapioca mix. The tapioca was good but the tea was so watery. I'm not even sure what wintermelon tea is supposed to taste like but my drink just tasted like sugar water and milk. I think next time, I will forgo convenience and stick to the location in town.

Retail therapy is real but so is the need to feed it as well and as I was browsing around the favorite spot on the island Made In Hawaii Festival the one grand event showcasing all things made in Hawaii and isn't the easiest access to the Hawaii Convention Center besides shopping the massive place with a crazy hectic vibe. As soon as I saw the Tea Girls Hawaii that was it for me and with menu choices from Vaifala, Lemonade and Iced tea the simple "Sweet Leilani" which is Lilikoi was it for me...I love Liliko, iced tea came in a massive cup which second guess my choice as as I hydrate the next thing I know it was gone. Refuling is sweet and refreshing and thank you to the staff who was amazing and worked efficiently I felt the energy return to continue my retail therapy. Thank you!

Making lemonade…read more.. This squad knows its stuff and its lemonade and finding them at the Blaisdell during the Hawaii Holiday Craft & Gift Fair was nice as the other tea place was sold out. Serving up three sizes (20oz, 24oz & 32oz) I kept it small as I'm not much of a lemonade drinker and didn't want to add any flavor syrups to make it even sweeter thankfully as it was pretty sweet for my personal taste I could barely taste the lemons and was pretty disappointed but the staff was nice and my drink made fast with a smile it was nice convenient treat on this blazing hot day. I was overwhelmed with the menu and numerous flavors. I was leaning more towards trying their iced tea. So the woman at the window suggested lilikoi mango and I just had to try it. I am so glad I did I love lilikoi and mango but the two mixed is just wow *chefs kiss. I definitely want to come back and try one of their slushies and floats on a hot day. Today was windy and my office is cold so we'll save that for another day.

The shop was quiet and empty and it took a few minutes for someone to realize we came in but when a lady came out, she was very sweet and apologetic. So we order our Vaifala and went on our way. My son liked it and I finally got to try it for the first time myself. Oh it was very good! The best way I can describe it is like a sweet, drinkable ambrosia fruit salad. I thought it would be thick, like a shake, but it wasn't. I could taste the condensed milk and I crunched on coconut with every sip. I liked it! Very very sweet and rich beverage. Other than the vaifala, they also sell shave ice and smoothies. Nice little spot and it's nice to know where to go to get a traditional vaifala fix now. :)
