In…read morethis summertime heat so whatever I'm doing and today was some retail therapy and as I was shoe shopping and since it's been awhile it had to be tea time and with the other tea spot was flooded with peeps I did a search and was so happy to find a spot with a short drive in the area. Taste Tea is located in Waikele Premium Outlet which is divided in to two section and Taste Tea is located in the area with Lowe's and Old Navy area and is found along the fence and not in the McDonald's food area. This tiny trailer does have it all like any full service store with menu filled with options for me it was the simple "Honey Iced Tea" and with the choice of teas it was Spring Tea my favorite with light sweetness was a nice and refreshing sip. The only downside is there not seating in this area regardless of the freeway vibe and is pretty much a grab and go situation though love the convenience of having this spot with lots of free parking does make very Taste Tea. They are located inside the Pearlridge mall at a kiosk outside of TJMaxx. The kiosk is stylish with a great display of the products...which we tried almost everything.. Classic heart cookies The heart cookies were good..and a little too easy to eat. You can pop one in your mouth and before you know it you are reaching for another. The cookies are light and flaky, soft and crispy at the same time. The filling is delicate but goes perfectly with the cookie. The mixed pack of cookies was also good. The dulce de Leche cookie was delicate and delicious. The cheesecake cookie was rich and decadent. The Nutella cookie was my favorite....it had nice intense flavor! The mini cheesecakes were also interesting. The creme brulee was my favorite of everything! That Crispy sugar top with the creamy inside....so amazing...I immediately wanted another! The dulce de leche cheesecake was interesting...there were a lot of flavors going on...not sure what to think! The cream cheese brownies were good but it was a little hard to compare them to the rest of the items because they were definitely less sweet. I should have started with the brownies! Retail therapy is real but so is the need to feed it as well and as I was browsing around the favorite spot on the island Made In Hawaii Festival the one grand event showcasing all things made in Hawaii and isn't the easiest access to the Hawaii Convention Center besides shopping the massive place with a crazy hectic vibe. As soon as I saw the Tea Girls Hawaii that was it for me and with menu choices from Vaifala, Lemonade and Iced tea the simple "Sweet Leilani" which is Lilikoi was it for me...I love Liliko, iced tea came in a massive cup which second guess my choice as as I hydrate the next thing I know it was gone. Refuling is sweet and refreshing and thank you to the staff who was amazing and worked efficiently I felt the energy return to continue my retail therapy. Thank you!

The chocolate on the top and bottom is very thick and sweet. The filling is the worst. The kadaifi/kunefeh wasn't crispy like the bars that I had it was only slightly crispy. The major problem was that there was barely any pistachio spread. It was so DRY. Very stingy with the filling and spread. Not worth your time or money. I see that a lot of vendors were capitalizing off this viral food trend but don't do it if you can't do it right.

What to know: - they have a lot of boba milk tea flavors, including some unique specialty drinks like Fruity Pebbles! - The prices are about the same as any boba spot - they give you more!!! You know how some boba spots give serve their drinks on really tall and skinny cups, giving you the mind trick that you have more than what you actually have? Ya I hate that. Frenchie Boba uses 16 and 20 oz real cups! Which means you get more boba! - For a food truck, we didn't feel like we waited too long! They give fast service and pretty great quality drinks - The take credit card payments!! Yesss! So bring your plastic! They accept it! We've tried them a couple times and love their drink concoctions! The boba is also made perfect. If you are ever in the Ewa area, you may be see them parked on the side. I was really thirsty and didn't have my wallet, but when we looked at their sign, it said they accepted Apple Pay. Since they had Apple Pay, that made us stop so we can get some drinks. LOL you can say we balanced out our jog with the drinks. They have a lot of selection on their menu, but they were also out of a bunch of their items. They also have specialty drinks. You could get your drinks iced or blended, we ended up getting all our drinks blended. I was going to get their Ube drink, then I saw that they had White Rabbit so I immediately switched the drinks. My fiancé and her sister got the Honeydew and Chocolate drink. After ordering they do make your drinks so you wait for a couple minutes. We were overwhelmed with the amount of toppings they had so we just stuck to no boba for just this time (we'll be back). When we got our drinks, the White Rabbit flavor took me back to my childhood. They were spot on with the flavor and it tasted amazingly good. It was on the sweeter side. We enjoyed our drinks and ended up following their Instagram page. They are usually parked near the park so check them out.
