My first time having breakfast at Tali's Bagels & Schmear and it was before they closed down…read more One of the things that I learned was Bialy is the cousin of a bagel. It is baked instead of boiled which gives it a softer texture. The other thing that I learned was peaches & cream, caramelized onions and lemon dill is a delicious combination. I ordered a Classic bialy with a pick of peaches & creams and lemon dill schmear. The lemon dill schmear had a mix of cream cheese, lemon juice, lemon zest and dill. The BEC which was scrambled eggs, Muenster, cheddar cheese and bacon with my pick of poppy seeds bagel and a Local Fizzie, POG flavored. The service was great, and recommended the peaches & cream. I'm glad the business is active after the ward shutdown.

This was my first time here and after hearing wonderful reviews of these bagels and things, I was…read moreso pleased to try it for myself. They have a pretty organized set up there, sad that Ward will be tearing down soon, I hope they have another location to set up shop at, because this was, indeed, a great experience. I went to New York City a few years ago for the first time and I was told by many friends that I have to try the pizza and bagels in NYC. I did try both and I actually found my favorite pizza in New Jersey to be honest (I have a Yelp review on that). But the bagels were pretty much great everywhere. I had several, but i'm told it's the real deal in NYC. I'm from Hawaii, I get how people are particular about their food. Hawaii food is way up there in rank. But this bagel went beyond my bagel expectations, and let me tell you why. First of all, they took the time to explain to this small time local mind, what everything was, like schmear and types of bagels, to be exact. We came close to closing, so the options were limited, which probably worked in my favor and indicisiveness. I chose the egg bagel and it was very delicious and the schmear, which was really underplayed in description was WOW!! Tasty and so smooth and creamy and dreamy...lol, I wish I bought more, cause i'm making my own mouth water. Long story short, it was great, worth the wait and definitely filling to perfection!! I'm no bagel expert, by no means, but this was my favorite. I cant wait to try other flavors in the near future!! Great Job Tali's Bagels & Schmear and by the way, your staff is pretty amazing, but i'm sure you know this already!!

I paid $33 for 6 brownies, and that was only because they were running a buy 3, get 1 free special. One thing to note is that there's no pricing listed on most of the baked goods--only the cupcakes--so you don't really know what you're spending until checkout. Overall, great quality, just a bit pricey and could use clearer pricing.

Sweet cravings... In…read morethe midst of the holidays somehow the snackin' cravings hit differently as it seems like it's allowed for us to celebrate and be festive. I'm not one to make or bake any snacks so places like CeCe Patisserie is the place for me as they're located in Pearl Kai which is right across from Pearlridge Center and with lots of free parking the convenience is very easy and you can find them right behind Jiffy Lube. Walking in the vibe is so festive and bright with a staff who I believe is a family friend was such a delight describing just about everything in the shop and not missing a beat it was so difficult to decide and I needed quite a bit of snacks...6 to be exact and not refrigerated so it did illuminate a few which made the choices much easier for me. After much browsing it was the tub of Chex Mix as it came in Hurricane, Ranch, Tajin or Everything Bagel seasoning. Love the various flavors and I got three of Hurricane and Everything Bagel and with multiple purchase there was a little discount that's really appreciated :) There was quite a bit of baked goods many are a bit more sensitive and wished they had more of the snacks as they do make great gifts as well but there are cupcakes, banana bread, brownies and cheesecake...so many options is incredible. It seems like they have a food truck as well making this little shop a busy spot in so many ways. Thank you!

I honestly don't understand the hype surrounding this place, the reality is completely misleading…read more I called 15 minutes ahead to place an order. The employee took it and immediately hung up on me--no name taken, no "thank you," no "goodbye." When I arrived, the parking was a mess, so I had to be dropped off. Inside, the food display looked sad, and the cashier looked completely miserable and unpresentable. While waiting patiently on the side for 15 minutes, I watched the kitchen staff preparing food. Red flag: they literally microwave their eggs instead of cooking them fresh. After 30 minutes of total waiting time, I finally went up to check on my order, only to find out the cashier hadn't even handed my ticket to the kitchen yet. She sent it back right in front of me without a single word of apology--just a blank stare. I cancelled my order on the spot. Horrible service, zero management, and low-quality food prep. Save your golden time & money and go somewhere else. Definitely not a place where I'd want my food prepared!

Liv was so delightful and clearly the right person for the job so I knew I was in the right place. In the meantime I ordered an iced coffee (which was delicious!!!!) and sat down and watched folks come and go. This is clearly a popular local coffee and snack shop so I will keep this place in mind since it's locally owned and operated and their decaf is processed via osmosis, not chemicals. That's a big plus.
