One thing to note is that there's no pricing listed on most of the baked goods--only the cupcakes--so you don't really know what you're spending until checkout. Walking in the vibe is so festive and bright with a staff who I believe is a family friend was such a delight describing just about everything in the shop and not missing a beat it was so difficult to decide and I needed quite a bit of snacks...6 to be exact and not refrigerated so it did illuminate a few which made the choices much easier for me. After much browsing it was the tub of Chex Mix as it came in Hurricane, Ranch, Tajin or Everything Bagel seasoning. Love the various flavors and I got three of Hurricane and Everything Bagel and with multiple purchase there was a little discount that's really appreciated :) There was quite a bit of baked goods many are a bit more sensitive and wished they had more of the snacks as they do make great gifts as well but there are cupcakes, banana bread, brownies and cheesecake...so many options is incredible. Happy 13th Anniversary BRUG Bakery!…read more The smell of the freshly baked goods. All pastries were $3 7/3/2026. Who couldn't pass up this opportunity?? I've always wanted to come the these anniversary specials. I was finally able to. I arrived at 8am the line long as expected. Shortly after one of their helpers came around and handed boxes out to put our pastries in. Which was nice to get in advance. They also went around and passed out ice cold water. My mission was to get a few jumbo (filled with a good amount of red bean my favorite.) and Hokkaido Anpan's which I did. It was freshly baked, warm and delicious! If you're an Anpan connoisseur. I highly recommend BRUGS Bakery. There was a limit of 12 pastries per person. I really was going to buy a few Anpan but since it took me 1 hour and 50 mins to get into the store. It's not the coffee shop style of dining that you may expect or remember from the original Liliha location. It's got more of a higher end vibe. Now for the bakery, I feel yes, items have gotten smaller, prices have gone way up. Like 10 years ago we never would have imagined paying these prices for the same items. However I feel prices have gone up in general and we never imagined these prices for anything 10 years ago. I know I'll be back. I'm old and grew up near the original location. She sent me the menu and helped me with the order, which was ready the next morning. The Guava Danish were spectacular!! But... if they married a cheese Danish with the Guava Danish, that would be EPIC! :) The staff were all very friendly and helpful and our staff thoroughly enjoyed the pastries! Mahalo Tiffany!
