I'm not one to make or bake any snacks so places like CeCe Patisserie is the place for me as they're located in Pearl Kai which is right across from Pearlridge Center and with lots of free parking the convenience is very easy and you can find them right behind Jiffy Lube. Walking in the vibe is so festive and bright with a staff who I believe is a family friend was such a delight describing just about everything in the shop and not missing a beat it was so difficult to decide and I needed quite a bit of snacks...6 to be exact and not refrigerated so it did illuminate a few which made the choices much easier for me. After much browsing it was the tub of Chex Mix as it came in Hurricane, Ranch, Tajin or Everything Bagel seasoning. Love the various flavors and I got three of Hurricane and Everything Bagel and with multiple purchase there was a little discount that's really appreciated :) There was quite a bit of baked goods many are a bit more sensitive and wished they had more of the snacks as they do make great gifts as well but there are cupcakes, banana bread, brownies and cheesecake...so many options is incredible. The pastries that I prefer usually run $4+ at this bakery, so of course it's a must to attend this event! The turnout is bigger every year, so arrive early (more than 1 hour) prior to opening time to secure your spot in the LONG line. Bring your own bag(s) or be prepared to pay an extra fee to purchase theirs. In 2025, there was a maximum purchase of 12 pastries per person. Only a set amount of people can go into the establishment at one time, so it doesn't get too crazy. Once they're out, that's it for the day. Remember, get there early on their Anniversary event!

Fresh baked, individually packaged and sold from a small stall at a farmers market. A mochi and azuki an pan, approaches the quality of Kimuraya in Ginza, the inventor of the anpan and a must visit if going to Tokyo. A soft but toothsome Japanese roll is filled with a piece of neutral tasting mochi and not too sweet, silky smooth red bean paste. Equally good their azuki filled butter roll. The soft, buttery bread and light sprinkling of sea salt makes the gently sweetened azuki paste sing. Savory items impress with the kare pan (curry pan) being the best example I've tried outside Japan. The bread, gently sweet and toothsome with the perfect crisp fry in very clean oil. The curry filling bursting with flavor. Offered mild or spicy. Either way, you'll wish you bought more than one. Finally, they don't shy away from heat. A jalapeño, cheese sausage roll brought the kick, filled with finely diced jalapeño running through the roll. Great combo of flavors. Inexpensive. Most sweet items $3, savory items $4. Whenever I pass by, there seems to be people waiting in the front, especially during dinner time. Who knew this place would be the spot to go to for dinner? From the outside, it reminds me of the restaurant Tiana from The Princess and the Frog built -which make total sense! It's the high, lofty ceilings, big, open, bright lights - they really got the plantation building vibe well. The servers have been great whether they're the quick-service bakery or the servers for our dinner. I remember one dinner, my meal took longer than everyone else at the table and they were apologetic in that and kept checking in and made sure I felt seen. As far as the food, I've tried their cutlet, breakfast pancakes/waffle, fried chicken, and a couple other dishes. Some I ordered myself and some my husband ordered, therefore they are my dishes as well. All of them tasted great and I do have to say, considering how long they've been open, you would think the standards go down at some point, but I have not experienced that at all. The breads, butters, and jellies still slap. And most of all, my husband and other family members I've come here with LOOOVE the kimchi fried rice and/or the pork loco moco. She sent me the menu and helped me with the order, which was ready the next morning. The Guava Danish were spectacular!! But... if they married a cheese Danish with the Guava Danish, that would be EPIC! :) The staff were all very friendly and helpful and our staff thoroughly enjoyed the pastries! Mahalo Tiffany!
