I got some creatine, Nitrulline , etc. Also, picked up a 75% off clearance item...Multi Mineral. Overall, a good haul. Customer service was excellent. The Vitamin Shoppe - Vitamins & Supplements Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

Supplements... It's not easy to keep it all together with good and bad days we tend to brush it off and say it's just from some other issues well I've not exactly been doing that but do try to see how I can remedy some of my issues that can be frustrating at times but with places like Vitamin Shoppe they do have some items for various needs including healthy snacks and drinks. Though on this visit it wasn't needed the staff are always so helpful for any questions or if you know exactly what you need they can help you find that item as well which is why I do like to shop here but as this was my first time at this Pearl Kai location everything was clean and organized with sign so you know you're in the right section makes it so easy to shop. Thank you! read more

Outstanding customer service. I believe his name was Paul. Right when we walk through those doors we were instantly greeted and was promptly assisted. The experience all in all was 10/10!!!! I must say this is one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had! They have a variety of supplements and proteins down to bars and shaker bottles. Came her for some protein and ended up buying the transparent labs brand. Price and quality is perfect. Will be returning to this location for refills!! read more

New workers :( Returned an item... the older lady wasn't too happy about the return... apologized as it was an auto ship and 2 cases were previously purchased of the MRE bars. So really 36 in one month is over abundance. She made the transaction so uncomfortable! read more

Been coming here for a while to purchase merchandise for a family member. The one thing I like is the education that comes with what you're purchasing. I have come to know Jonah even from a competitive establishment and glad that he's at this health shop instead. I'm glad that he shares his knowledge of products and not just a selling point. He will point you in the right direction without being pushy. Good to know that there are people out there who will look out for the good of their customers. read more

Do You Remember Me For Centuries? So I may be slutty for handing out this particular 5 star so easily, but some of you know that I can be very critical with some of my reviews and dont usually give them up so easily, just so you know im nottt thattt picky lol. Butttt...it's kinda simple to pull 5 stars from me actually, and the workers here have mastered it! The area leading up to this place is sketchy af in the night time, but I came here to get my dirty drinks fast and easy. I really don't need to explain whats inside as thats kinda self explanatory. I walk in and its just me and the 2 workers, they were chatting amongst themselves but as soon as I walked in they stopped chatting, looked me straight in the eye and said: "Hi! Welcome Back!" "Wow, do you remember me?" I replied I hadn't been there in 5 months and I doubt they actually do remember me, but thats not the point. The fact that they dropped what they were doing and instantly "acknowledged my existence" is so basic, yet many other places fail to even simply do this. They were eager to help, I let them know what I came for, even though I already knew where it was. And thats how easy it is to score 5 with me! Gj guys! Got my dirty drinks 2 for 6, good price! I'll be back and hopefully sooner than 5 months! read more

Haven't used these Carb blockers in a few years and since I've been indulging in so many restaurants - it's time for some help! lol Workers here are friendly and helpful. Kai was Very knowledgeable on what the products can do and how they taste and feel like. This helped my husband to decide which products would benefit him. The store is clean and well stocked. They have plant based proteins and other products. They have a whole section on no dairy for lactose allergens. Cost was medium priced. Seemed better than GNC. They have a 30 day guarantee. So if you buy a product and don't like it you can bring it back. Just don't be using most of it and expect to be able to return it. read more

WHERE'S MY RIODS? JK LOL Come here all the time for my supplements and vitamins . Best prices on their store brand items. I usually get their multi vitamins and whey protein. Where else can you get a 5lb bucket for under 40 bucks? Haha. My kinda deals. Came here yesterday though for more jetfuel energy supplement. I usually use it for energy but its also a thermogenic and fat burner. Found a great deal on their clearance table. "i always take a look" found a 5lb protein for 25 bucks. Dammmnn. What a steal.:) They usually put items that are nearing the expiration date or they plan on not selling no more. The best thing I found out is if their website price is cheaper than the store price they will match it. Great deals and friendly, helpful staff. no complaints here! read more

All vitamin shops are not treated equal. Although The Vitamin Shoppe isn't publicized as much as other vitamin shops I feel like the Vitamin Shoppe has much more to offer. The Vitamin Shoppe offers a way better variety of different vitamins, cleansers, proteins, weight lost options, shaker bottles, wholistic options, gum yes gum and they are never out of supplies. I am never disappointed when looking for a specific hard to find item. Plus they offer home delivery at a 10% discount which is always a plus if your on it and remember to order your supplies before you actually need it . That's never me, but its a great option. read more

I have been coming to this Vitamin Shoppe location for years and thought It was time for me to write them a review. Customer service/Staff: What I like about this vitamin shoppe is the staff here is always so friendly and welcoming. They do not pressure you into buying any particular products and are very helpful and knowledgeable. Since I have been coming here for a while, I got to know some of the staff such as Dawn and Rolly. They are always so welcoming when I come in and always tell me what the deals of the months are and if there are any new popular products that have just come out. Prices: In my opinion the prices here are very reasonable and most of the products are same price if not cheaper than GNC with your gold card membership. Rewards: They have a great rewards program which is complete free. For every $100 you spent you get $5 rewards which restarts quarterly. That means that every quarter depending how much you spend you will receive your quarterly rewards in the mail. If you're new to lifting, experienced or just looking for a lifestyle change, Vitamin Shoppe has something for you and with the great staff I'm sure you will not be disappointed with your purchase. read more

Okay so if you read my other reviews of me hiking and shit, I complain a lot and basically I have the worst combination of a person who is trying to lose weight: I LOVE FOOD + I HATE EXERCISE = WORST COMBO EVER Anyway, I tried SPARQ training for the first time in the beginning of the week and pretty much died DEAD. My body was in pain, I've never done so many squats in my life, all those workouts to my thunder thighs just made me hate all those times I ate my mom's chicharrón. Blah blah, so, I decided to get some whey protein so I wouldn't look like an old lady trying to walk around and get into my car anymore. Since I'm ballin' on a budget, I decided to go to Vitamin Shoppe. Already coming in, I was greeted by manager Pablo and right there I told him, "I DON'T NORMALLY WORK OUT BUT I WANT TO SINCE ALL I'M GETTING FAT SO I WENT SPARQ TRAINING AND MY MUSCLES HURT REAL BAD. NEED WHEY PROTEIN BUT I REALLY DON'T WANT TO BECOME MUSCLE MANIA." Well it kind of went like that. He was very, very knowledgable, about all his products, which was awesome. There were a lot of terms I didn't understand that made him seem like he was speaking a different language but he would see the confused look on my face and would interpret for me (YES!). I ended up getting BodyTech's Primal Pro, which by recommendation, was a well-rounded product and instead of becoming Hulk, I would be able to keep my girlish figure. I also told him I wanted to drop weight because being a Yelp Elite is tough (HOW ELSE DO WE DO REVIEWS? WE NEED TO EAT) so he recommended OxyElite Pro and he told me about his personal experience with it, which made me feel a little more comfortable because I was scared shitless from the look of the bottle. I got it on sale and my whey protein was $20. A lot more reasonable than if I were to buy these products at GNC. I got home and realized I had forgotten the directions that Pablo told me to take these products. Because these products don't seem to be the trial-and-error type, I decided to call the store and ask. I told Andy that I was a n00b at this and I needed help figuring out where I would start with taking these products because I wanted to do it right. She was very helpful and she broke down the directions for me and even recommended me what I should do from her own personal experience from the product. This brought much comfort to me, Thank you so much! I can't wait to see the results of these products :) love how helpful the staff is here. read more

Where do I begin with the Vitamin Shoppe right off Kam Hwy in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center. I've grown up here on island and have always seen this place going to pearl kai. I've always been active and motivated in the gym from a very young age but only within the last 5 years been more serious. Of course like most. You head to GNC with no knowledge and relatively no research done and the sales people take you on a trek in what seems to be their approach in sales. And being in sales myself - sell responsibly. Not just to make your numbers. Not to mention customer service is normally subpar for me. Now onto the nitty gritty - I first walked into this location with the pure intent of purchasing Alpha Brain by Onnit Labs as they are the only other retailer on island aside from Whole Foods and at not a bad price either. Beats driving to town from Central Oahu any day. I walked in one morning as soon as they opened and was quickly greeted by Paul. I asked where they kept the alpha brain stock and he quickly dropped what he was doing and showed me where it was located near the register. Rung me up and I was on my way. Quick and easy and to the point. Over the course of the next few months (between bad experiences at GNC I might add) I would always find myself there checking to see what they had. I noticed I only purchased when Paul worked. Maybe it was the previous interaction. Maybe not. But it seemed he knew I was trying to go down a more natural way of growth rather than synthetic. From brain function to increasing muscle repair/growth. From BCAAs to preworkout. Every single time. He nailed it. The BCAA I purchased from him. The best. He not only notes the benefits of the products but also is able to relate it to you and how it should benefit you. My interactions may have been far and in between with him but, Paul, you've nailed it good sir. From some of the best customer service I've received to the products I purchased. I will always come back to this location based on him. read more

To me supplement stores have always been a not so great way to blow money for mediocre results. Honestly, I still think it's a way to blow money. However, if you are going to blow the money, might as well get the best experience you can doing it. Here the employees will make sure you blow the least money you have to in order to achieve your goal. I can't endorse GNC because I have seen them steer me wrong so many times in the pursuit of the highest commission. Eventually frustration sinks in and you never return. So, granted I don't go all out on this stuff. If I need a few things, however, the manager at this vitamin shoppe is honest and will guide you from start to finish on what you need to achieve your goals. I love that he'll say "yeahh you can get that, but you don't need it" How many times can you say you heard that at GNC? you'll only need one hand if that. The parking spots in the front are perfect since they are 30 minute stalls. Sometimes on the weekend it gets crowded, but be patient and parking will come. read more

I came in yesterday to swap out a supplement and glad I came to this location instead of Kapolei's. Paul, who I think is the manager, spent a great deal of time helping me choose a supplement that was tailored to my special needs/training regime. He also has a comprehensive understanding of adrenals/adaptogens and hormones and the effects of some supplements on said glands. Not many of the supplement store workers know these things...so I love to put them to the test as I am always studying the field of functional medicine/holistic healthcare. Anyways, I normally use Magnum Opus intra workout and nothing else but I wanted to venture out a little and try something with a little more ompf to it. I ended up with a very nice BCAA/Preworkout supplement that did not make me jitter, and I was still able to get to bed at night after a late night gym session. I am giving it a try for a little while but still on the edge because most BCAA supplements use hair and bird feathers as fillers; thus, why I use Magnum products. However, I looked up the company and seems somewhat legit...not CMP certified like Magnum, but still will give this supp. a go. Thank you so much Paul for your help. I hope I got your name and position correct. I will be back. read more

I come here often to restock on omega 3 liquid/capsules, chia seeds, flaxseed oil, wheatgrass powder, DHA liquid for my toddler, and other naturopathic medicines I use. Signing up for their free membership provides you with notices on sales on products and after accumulating a number of points you receive rewards. Service is excellent there because they are highly knowledgeable on all products sold in the store. The front half of the store is dedicated to protein powder mainly geared towards body builders and the back of the store holds everything else. read more

This place is awesome. In world where all of my friends go to GNC I end up going to the vitamin shop. The parking is ample and the location is convenient. I really don't have to go here alot because the stuff I buy here lasts me a long time. Looking at the outside of this store you wouldn't think this place is big. But it's actually a pretty good size. The Vitamin Shoppe offers everything from vitamins to work out supplements. What I think makes this place better than GNC is the prices. At GNC the glutamine I bought would have been 30 dollars. At the Vitamin Shoppe it was ten. What I really liked was that the employees took time out of my day to find out was supplemental needs I had and then they hooked me up. I also suggest you get a membership here. They have reward points and such and it makes the products cheaper. Come here! read more

My mom told me to go here one day to get some supplements and vitamins and stuff. I usually drink Emergen C a lot and was surprised how much more of a bargain it is here than any other store! The deals and prices are are very good for a place which carries supplements, vitamins, and other stuff. The staff and customer service is top notch. When I shopped here the first time I signed up for one of their membership stuffs and I guess it's worth it because of all of the notice deals and stuff. It's conveniently located in the Pearl Kai shopping center. Sometimes parking might be limited especially in the day and early noon time due to other patrons of the shopping area. I'll be honest, the only reason why I went inside of The Vitamin Shoppe was because my car was getting serviced at Jiffy Lube next door. However, I enjoyed browsing through the store and was amazed at how big the store was and how friendly the staff was. When I went inside I started looking around to see what they carried. I was very impressed with the selection of vitamins that they had. I've been to other vitamin stores but none of them compare to the vitamin shoppe. They carry many different brands in the store, therefore you can pick the brand that you like the best. Although I walked out empty handed I still recommend this store for vitamins and supplements. read more

First time in this location. two workers too busy talking about other coworkers didn't even have the courtesy to ask if I needed Assistance which I did I think they need to be retrained or trained in customer service.
