Hidden gem for your health needs! They are tucked away near Young's Fish market in kapolei. I recommend this business instead of GNC. Reason is- much bigger selection and you don't have to pay a membership to get their sales prices. They always have something on sale. We went there today and customer service was very excellent helpful and friendly but they weren't harassing us to make sales either so we like that. We absolutely don't like when they follow you around continuously asking you if you need help. These employees ask once and leave you alone but don't mistake it they Are paying attention and Once you look like you need help LOL someone will come out of the woodwork's to your rescue. Happy that they are open during the lockdown and the pandemic. This is my first time at this location and I am so happy that I went there because the very specific things that I was looking for was literally on sale. I saved so much money than buying on amazon which I almost did last night. Another cool thing is the cashiers will help automatically pick up some of your stuff and walk out to your car with you. This level of service totally made me forget how it sucks and how inconvenient it is that you are totally screwed if you forget shopping bags. Overall the service I experienced today I did not feel like it was a pandemic or that I was being treated like a Petri dish because of the coronavirus. Everyone wore masks and was being safe but after that they were just human beings! Really appreciate this during this time! They can email receipts to you too for that contactless check out! We'll be back for more shopping. read more

I like buying my products at The Vitamin Shoppe because of the variety of protein powders, pre-workouts, vitamins, and more. The protein powder brand I always buy is the Betancourt Nutrition, and pre-workout I also get is Animo Energy. These products work well with me, and I have only seen The Vitamin Shoppe sell it (Betancourt Nutrition that is). The products are expensive, but it's the price you pay for results. When the Betancourt Nutrition goes on sale, it's a REALLY good sale. Any of the other brands when they go on sale it's good too. Depending on the brand, the sales could be, "buy 1 get the other 50% off," or " buy 1 get 1 free." Staff service is great. Paul, the store manager, has a friendly, welcoming, courteous approach when I was looking at their products. The other associate also greeted me and informed me about the sale. This is less than 3 minutes apart. Overall, customer service is 10 out of 10. The interior is well lit and organized. Cleaned and well kept. Parking Private lot Payment Cash or credit read more

A solid choice to go to if you like: - New, modern decor with wide aisles to browse. - A decently wide selection of vitamins and supplements. - Decent prices (GNC on Kapahulu seemed a little more expensive). - A rewards program that gives you $5 back per $100 spent. - Courteous and helpful service from staff by phone and in-person. - You need Charlie's Soap / Laundry Detergent (free and clear, for babies or anyone with sensitive skin, or simply want to avoid perfumes). - Easy parking with so many spots available in its own lot out front. - The convenience of getting a few things while at Kapolei Commons anyway! read more

Every time I come here I feel weird because sometimes I am the only customer that comes in store, but I can vouch that every time I come here, I also get amazing customer service. And I'm not just saying that because I'm the only customer in store, bu their staff are really attentive and go out of their way to help you. I came here a few times looking for random items for my husband and when they didn't have it, they recommended alternatives or other places that may hold it. As a health store, their prices are definitely competitive compared to GNC. Their shelves and stock were always neatly done and sorted in a manner that is easy to navigate. read more

This place knows how to treat Customers. Brendan helped me with some questions I had on supplements. Took the time to explain what's what. Also, he was helping other customers aswell and was not rude when he had to stop our conversation to ring someone up. This will be the only place I go from now on for any of my vitamins, pre workout, and supplement needs. If you have questions about what supplements to put in your body, stop by the Kapolei vitamin shoppe. The employees there have the answers and they will give you great customer service. read more

The Vitamin Shoppe in Kapolei is great. I love this location. It's easy to get in and out quickly and the Sales people are very knowledgeable and really know their vitamins. I can always get assistance and every question I ask they know the answer. I have learned a lot from the different Sales people who work there especially how to get the most out of my money and supplements. Plus there is always a sale happening. The store is well organized and easy to maneuver if you wish to just browse on your own or you can opt to have your supplements delivered to your home with a discount. read more

I love this location, it always has parking available and it is never overwhelmingly busy which is nice! Stress free parking and shopping - always a perk in my book! Service is good here, although it has never been above and beyond in any way but then again I have never had bad service or really required much help. So no negative points in mind for this! The store is always clean. Has a good selection of vegan protein powders Good selection for vitamins and protein bars also. AND how could I forget? Blender bottles here - love them! Also like the store card which gives you points and you get coupons every now and then. Most importantly: FREE! Can't go wrong with free. read more

Absolute best of the best when it comes to nutritional supplement customer service on the island. First of all, I live in Makakilo so the location of the store - in the shopping center by Target - is incredibly convenient. Their selection is absolutely fantastic and includes but isn't limited to body building, vital nutrition, and homeopathic supplementation. They even have vegan options available! The manager, Paul, is a real stand-up guy with tons of experience, as is the key holder for the store. They always know my basic order when I come to the store; a case or two of Bang Energy Drink. Every once in a while, I'll need to restock on protein or multi vitamins as well and they're always more than accommodating. Their Vitamin Angels charity program is an excellent cause and I like to make it a point to donate whenever I can. Make it a point to ask about it sometime when you're down there picking up your supps. Don't hesitate to ask for help. The friendly employees won't hesitate to help you! read more

Love: -LOTS of parking space -CLEAN -Good Customer Service -Always has *MY* vitamins in stock -Employees are knowledgeable of the products they sell. Dislike: -No Military Discount -Price. This is expected though, I'm sure you can find great price on amazon, online or other similar health stores. Regardless, it helps to have their 'card' to get points, and save money. Hey at least the membership is free! read more

I just happened to be in the area of this store when my physical therapist suggested I try some stuff. Getting into the parking lot is easy, due to the time I went there were a few more cars on the road than normal. As soon as I walked in I was greater with a smile from the manager who welcomed me to his store. I told him what I was looking for and he immediately took me to that area. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The store was very clean and organized. I was able to find some stuff on my own. When i checked out, I was given a rewards card to use when I go back. If you are on the lookout for any kind of herbs or oils, this is the place to go! read more

I went in not really knowing which protein powder to get. Teen son wanted it. I was oblivious as to what whey is, isolate, etc.! But I was helped by a young lady Chelsea. What a big help she was to me. She was telling me the differences of the different protein powders, pros and cons, how our bodies function with the powder, etc. They say you learn something new everyday! And I sure did! The prices were great and cheaper than other "same type" stores. Didn't have to pay for a membership. I didn't feel pushed at all to buy. Parking was great. Definitely going back again. read more

The Vitamin Shoppe offers a nice selection of products, and the staff is very professional & knowledgeable.

I want to send a big shout out to Todd assistant manager at the Kapolei vitamin shop. He really helped me find what I needed and some other things that I was looking for to help supplement my mom who is battling cancer. He spent more time explaining the product and how it works than some doctors during a medical exam. Thank you, Todd for going out of your way to help me that day and even call another vitamin shop location to put a product on hold for me. read more

One of my favorite places to shop for vitamins, immune supplements, natural GOOD smelling soaps, and protein of course. The staff is great, even when my boys are acting a little crazy. Helpful, knowledgeable and personable. I don't feel judged when I ask for certain things. Really good vibe, and clean. Love this place! read more

Prices are way better than GNC & they got way more selection than GNC. They didn't have the flavor we was looking for, so we figure we try a new brand. read more

The Vitamin Shoppe - Vitamins & Supplements Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

My husband and I practice intermittent fasting and get our BCCAs from The Vitamin Shoppe. We popped in to grab a supply and quickly grabbed our container. We were greeted by assistant manager Todd who was super helpful and friendly. Overall I found the store to be clean and super organized. I don't think this store receives as much traffic as its Ala Moana counterpart but I find the layout to be much more inviting. There's lots of easily accessible parking attached to the store and you don't have to deal with multitude of cars trying to go to Target or the new movie theaters. Looking forward to returning again when I'm looking for more health supplements and fitness nutrition products! read more

I'm a major GNC shopper, but Vitamin Shop comes in at a close 2nd! I've been to this location (Kapolei) a few times, & I rather enjoy shopping here! I like the fact that the workers always ask if I'm finding everything ok, & offer good tips and general product knowledge. Also, the manager that's usually on duty when I go always let's his customers know about upcoming sales, & that may not get him much sales for the day, but it keeps us coming back! I walked in with the sole intent of doing mental price comparisons with GNC, yet I still walked out with atleast $50 worth of protein! Happens every time! read more

The workers here are always helpful! They know their products well, and have nice suggestions. I get my BCAA and quest protein bars here. It may be a little pricy, but the selection is good. They tend to have sales very often, and they also have a rewards program which works out! read more

Went to the store this a.m. looking for certain products. PAUL assisted me and pointed out the brands and deals. We had a conversation about other subjects and I found him to be very nice and like minded. Because of his + attitude, I will return and buy my supplements from this store. read more

I just recently started shopping at The Vitamin Shoppe in Kapolei. I will say their customer service is the best I have found. On my recent visit this week the Assistant Manager Brendan helped me find what I needed. He was exceptional at answering my questions and he also went above and beyond to look up some additional information regarding how prescription medications may interact with certain all natural herbs and vitamins. He provided the best customer service that I have encountered in the area. I will most definitely shop here in the future. read more

I always go here to get my Vitamins. Which are now essential to my well being. Well, Vitamin Shoppe has every necessary vitamin in any type of edible way that you could require! The people working here are very helpful. They're always asking me if I need help and never fail to solicit me with their weekly ad. read more

My husband and I were frequent shoppers at this location, until now. My husband went in and purchased some things. They rang up the purchase and had some sort of "pin pad" problem. They told him they'll re-ring up the transaction and the first one will be canceled. No receipt for the canceled transaction was given to him, but he trusted that the incorrect transaction would be canceled as they said. A few days later our bank account showed both transactions, incorrect and correct. After calling and speaking with them at least 4 times and 3-4 days later, we hadn't gotten any word from them regarding a refund for the first transaction. Finally I called and spoke with the manager and was told he spoke with the DM and was told to ring up the transaction as a refund but we would need to come in. No one called us to tell us this and per this manager, he "just found out 3 mins ago and just came back from his break" so he couldn't be bothered with calling us. Also, how convenient that I called just 3 mins after he spoke with this DM?! Bull----! This store NEVER picks up the phone when we called and the manager seems so unapologetic. BAD customer service!!!! read more

I love this place. The staff is so super helpful. I usually ask the manager when I have questions or issues that I'm trying to solve naturally. He is extremely knowledgeable. There has not been a question yet that he was not able to answer. Yes it is a little pricey but you are truly getting quality. Plus they always have good sales. read more

Paul and the staff here are awesome. Super helpful, far better prices and more of a selection than GNC. They keep me healthy and I love the wide selection of supplements and natural toiletries and products. You get an end of the year credit returned to you depending on how much you spend throughout the year. I usually average a $100 credit at the end of the year. On top of that, you dont need to purchase a yearly membership like at GNC. read more

My favorite sports nutrition store. They have everything you need down to single amino acids and minerals. They have the most organic and natural brands and supplements available at the best prices than any other local store I've been to. Most important to me is the customer service. I believe Paul is the manager. In my opinion, The Vitamin Shoppe Kapolei crew has always been the best at customer service. I've been everywhere buying supplements for more than 10 years now; that includes state side and overseas being former military. They always help me find what I need, are very knowledgeable about any of the thousands of items they sell, and always let me know about any credit I have, deals and price matching options. I'm sensitive to a lot of things and these guys are the most gracious when it comes to returns and exchanges. I don't get a dirty look or strict policy explanation when I'm trying to find something that works for me. I'm speaking for Kapolei Vitamin Shoppe only! This is the only local supplement store I will shop at on the island. read more

They carry more supplements then Down to Earth and they are somewhat cheaper on the average. The workers are nice and usually helpful.

Went to this location tonight a few minutes before they closed. There were no other cars in the parking lot and the open sign was on due to the fact that they didn't close until 9. As I got out of my car and started walking toward the front door an older caucasian man literally rushed to the door to lock it and did so just as I was reaching for the door. I explained through the door that I just called and needed a supplement only they carried for my pregnancy. The gentleman shrugged his shoulders and shook his head in a sorry but too bad manner. Again we got there before their scheduled closing time. I understand when its time to leave work all one that think of sometimes is leaving asap, but in an industry such as health and wellness and to have it occur during normal business hours to turn down a customer is completely unprofessional and insensitive to peoples needs and time. Seems more and more I'm reminded about the kind of world we live in, but when it compromises my health and the health of my baby I think others should know where they stood in this instance. In this case, a little aloha could have went a long way. And I hope they make changes to their customer service and actually stay open as advertised. read more
