Food is okay, as in fine, good, okay. Their pink Italian dressing is really good. But the service, especially at the bar, is so awful, that we refuse to ever go there again. Their behavior insinuates that women should never go there, as they have never asked for any drink order other than my husband's. They actually delivered my husband's meal, and when 30 minutes later mine was still not there ( they actually came to check on him and never asked about me) they promised the owner was making mine personally, but it came to me burned black and raw in the middle (chicken breast.) They never offered to remedy this, just continued to ignore. Today was the final straw. Never asked to refill my drink, while asking my husband numerous times. This is probably my favorite place in town. Samee and Molly have poured their heart and soul into this place and it for sure shows. Samee not only pours his heart into his buisness and his family but he pours his heart into his customers and his community. It's so nice to feel like family when we walk in the door. Not to mention how much care and prep goes into the food. The pizzas are amazing 100% of the time. His specials are always amazing. He also will always take the customers opinions on new dishes in stride (samee a champagne sauce ravioli would be great (: ) the service is amazing as well. Thought we would try this place again since it has been 3 years but WOW the food is as bad as ever ! Who are these people that think this food is good? With all the other places to eat, why would you spend money on this crap? I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, lasagna and an order of chicken parmesan for pickup. The girl on the phone argued that the chicken parmesan did NOT come with a salad even though the menu clearly states that is does. Ok, no big deal, maybe the online menu is outdated? Went to pick up the food, which was ready but the bread was not so I had to wait 10 minutes for the bread. Got home, food was COLD. Ok, I can reheat it. Fettuccine alfredo was BLAND and the chicken on it was dry. It looked so unappealing my husband wouldn't even try it. Lasagna was ok. Not great but edible. Chicken parmesan? Never seen it made like this. It was some fettuccine noodles that had a slight bit of sauce on them with a piece of chicken on the side that had some cheese on it. Oh, and the bread I had to wait for.... It looked like the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store that had been cut up and baked. You can't even bake fresh bread? I've been here many years ago once and another time yesterday. We tried several different dish when we came long time ago and nothing hit home and the food tasted bland overall, kinda reminded me of cafeteria food. When I tried it again yesterday and ordered my fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp it tasted bland once again. The Alfredo sauce was lacking in salt and the sauce wasn't plentiful. It came with about five pieces of decently sized shrimp though which was good. I added their dinner salad which is only $1.75 extra, and the majority of the salad consisted of big chunks of lettuce wedges, some carrots, tomatoes, and decent amount of shredded cheese. I got blue cheese as the dressing and it had a bold flavor that tasted homemade! Overall, all of their food taste really homemade to me. But good kind of homemade? I don't know. You know how sometimes restaurant food tastes so much better than homemade food? It tasted like that, an okay homemade food. The pricing, portion size, ambiance, and service (not much for hostess) was great, but the taste of food itself was a little below average. We have been to Samee's Pizza Getti on several occasions and every time our experience has been better. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted and welcomed. The food is always served in a reasonable amount of time, and if there was a delay we were notified and offered something for the slight delay. We have not ordered anything that wasn't delicious and filling. Samee is always visible and ensures his customer service experience is as warm and appealing as his food. His staff is friendly and actually smile at work. Our most recent server, John, was very attentive and just plain fun! I ordered my dinner based on his suggestions (Salmon Fasano) and wasn't disappointed. My mother had the Chicken Parmesan, the chicken was lightly breaded and moist. My partner had Chicken Marsala and that too was wonderful. If you like sports the bar area has plenty of televisions and cold beverages. When the local pro teams play it's rocking. Wine down Wednesday was another crowd favorite (although not sure how long he will run this special) and we happened to be there on a Wednesday. My mother doesn't branch out beyond Mexican food, she told me she really liked her Chicken Parmesan which is something coming from my 83 year old Tex Mex loving mom. My husband and I have been here several times and tried something from every category on the menu. We live too far east for delivery so we always dine in. The wait staff does a fine job and the atmosphere is pleasantly laid back. The food is consistently delicious! On our first visit the chicken marsala was way over-salted but that has been the only detriment, and the flavor was still good otherwise. The standouts thus far have been the Thursday special jalapeno cream soup, Monday special Chicken Florentine, Salmon Fasano, and alfredo pizza. I've brought my mother and met some friends here, and nobody was disappointed. It's definitely in my date night rotation for those occasions when we want Italian food without a terribly long drive, too. read more

Went to Samme's Pizza Getti for the first time ever. Took my wife and kids and entered through the door on the south side and walked into the bar.... I thought, well I'm not going to eat in a bar, i thought there might be a door around the corner on the west side that had the restaurant area.... And sure enough, there it was. Unfortunately, the family behind us left, because they did not want their kids eating in a bar. The dinning area is completely separated from the bar area and is nice a quiet. Samme really needs to put a sign on the doors outside to indicate where the dinning area is. Anyway, I was very impressed with this place. They must of had 30 employees working on this Friday night. They were all busy, but we only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and was offered drinks while waiting by a hostess and also by the owner. The owner "Samme" was incredible. This man is all over the place checking on all employes and customers. Samme is a perfectionist and very big on Customer Service. I have never seen a manager/owner so active and actually managing a restaurant like Samme does. The food was very good with good portion size. The Mac and cheese that my son got was homemade and not from Kraft. He could only eat half and ate the rest of it the next day. I did the same with my chicken parmigiana. The price is fair and i will definantly go back to try more. Looking forward to trying the pizza next. Give Samme's Place a try, you will like it! read more

Not a very smart business plan. Woodcreek subdivision is one of the largest and nicest subdivisions in this area and less then 10 miles away from this pizza place. WOW, this place has the best customer service I've seen! Why have I been passing by this place so many years?! My husband has been there twice now and brought me his 2nd time. Our daughter loves this place too. They give her pizza dough to play with so she is entertained until the food comes out. I tasted the pizza my husband ordered, it was great. My lasagna was really good, but I think I will ask for extra sauce next time. You can tell the food is homemade with fresh ingredients. Love this place so much! But unfortunately it can be a love-hate relationship. I love the owners, they're amazing and truly care about customer service. But every server we've ever had out of the (8?) times we've been have either been okay or awful. Sometimes it can be hard to get a refill on your drink and you're left to eat without a drink until you can wave your server down. I always order the chicken scalopini and it is delicious! Highly reccomend! But every SINGLE time they forget my garlic bread THAT COMES WITH IT. I've literally started to keep track and I always have to request to get it after they bring my meal because they forget. One time I didn't get it until I was done eating. I personally enjoy having it to eat with my meal. Other than the servers and problem with getting my garlic bread we are always happy with our food and the ambiance of the restaraunt! We found out today that you can only use one Groupon per table so therefore I couldn't use my Groupon and had to pay full price. The manager would not honor the Groupon anyway since I didn't know. He was very rude, cutting me off while I was talking, he was speaking very loud and fast as if he didn't care about anything that I was saying. Found this place on Yelp & looking for a late lunch but not fast food drive up. Ordered the personal pan meats pizza and peach Bellini. The drink was nice & had a little kick to it. The pizza was a perfect size to fill me up but leave room for dinner. I ate on the bar side and there was a decent crowd for 4pm on a Wednesday. This looks like a Rockwall hangout for locals. To tell you the truth, , I didn't think much of the place when I first tried the bar area. I am talking beat up tables and chairs and a tight bar, But I was very wrong. This place has fun written all over it. The guy behind the bar introduced himself to me and grabbed me a very cold beer. I asked him about the food and he said the best around. Yes I gave him the look,, like really,,,, So after watching a football game I decided to eat in the restaurant side. You will not be wowed by the furniture. But you will be greeted like a king. All the staff is happy and amazing the girls ask your name and they remember it. The soups are top notch and the salads are always fresh. The portions are a perfect size and taste amazing. Someone in that kitchen loves what they do. I have had the pleasure to meet the owner and he loves his job. He makes customers feel loved and appreciated and that make you want to return for a beer or dinner. So if your a local or a person staying at a hotel in the area for a few nights or long term. The 5 stars have it right! "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" My husband and I go here once or twice a month, maybe more sometimes. We ALWAYS get phenomenal service and awesome food. Some of the bar staff even remember what I drink and brings me one almost before I sit down!! And you know, some days, it's so nice to have someone take good care of you that way!! I have never seen bar staff (we don't go into the restaurant much) so attentive (yet not invasive). If there is ever a problem (which is rare), they jump on it right away and make it right. The food is always delicious too. I'm not a red meat person, but I have to say that the filet mignon dinner is out of this world, and you truly do not need a steak knife to cut it!
