They lied to us and their management explained that Comcast cannot be held responsible for what their employees tell customers. The only thing that matters is what they tricked us into signing. I cannot tell you how poor this customer service is and what an awful experience it has been to do business with this company. We have never encountered anything like it. Mind you, the representative who added those discounts works for Verizon. I didn't add those and wouldn't know whether they are valid or not, but I'm the one punished and he still made the sale. Initial Review: Let me start by saying I have been a Rock Solid Internet customer for 8 years. I'm a computer professional, I work out of my house, so I use the internet all day long. I know immediately when my internet goes down, and I use the internet in the evening as well, including streaming services such as NetFlix & Hulu. I also am a very demanding consumer, who wants & notices the highest quality picture possible while streaming. I'll admit that many of the reviews posted here about RSI quality of service are experiences I have had at one time, but it's no longer the case for me. Sometime in late 2015 I noticed service was good enough for me to stream Hulu content reliably, but not NetFlix. In early 2016 I found I could get NetFlix to also stream really consistent. I actually waited several months to be sure I was going to continue to see good service, before posting a review. My internet has been consistently up during the day and very fast. As with many other internet providers, it does slow a little bit in the early evening, when people get home from work & school. But it's entirely good enough for evening stream on NetFlix & Hulu, I honestly cannot remember the last time NetFlix or Hulu paused.

And each day spectrum says it's out of their control to get out of offering a credit. When you work from home, you require reliable internet which Spectrum obviously can't provide. I recently moved and am unfortunately stuck with them as the only service provider option. Before I moved, I had Google fiber where I had only one interruption in 6 years. It's like Spectrum is trying to set a record for the worst customer service and worst wifi service in the country. Two other things that are irritating: 1) When I called on the third day of a continuous outage, the agent tried telling me perhaps it was something wrong with my modem and I should reset it if it was happening every day. Spectrum was literally sending out mass outage notices but in an attempt to deflect she tried saying we were the problem. 2. Spectrum won't credit you if the outage is under 2 hours or they blame someone else for the issue (which they obviously will). But to say that you aren't deserving of a credit because you weren't inconvenienced long enough is ridiculous. I've attached texts - just over the course of 10 days, there were 7 outages (2 in 1 day!).

She powered one on of my devices that had a # listed on the screen to cal, which I did & then she got up to go sit with the other female worker to have a whole other conversation. I glanced over a few times bc I was going to ask her a question, but I kept feeling uncomfortable since I was given the side eye or being ignored. I was warned not by one of my coworkers not to come to this location and even read the negative Yelp review. However, I did it anyways, and It honestly was a waste of time, and it was a very unpleasant & unprofessional experience. The only positive thing I can say about this location was that the male rep came over to ask me if I needed any assistance once he was done with his customer. Maybe this young lady was having a bad day or just did not want to deal with me, but that is no way to act with a customer. Additional training or a talk with her may be needed. I would most definitely not allow one of members of my staff act like that while under my supervision. Next time I will drive to a different location before coming back to this one.
