And you think you'll wake up with internet haha nope. Then when you call to check on the eta, you hear about how it's the most reliable blah blah blah and it pisses you off more. Battlefield 6 just came out and guess what. No internet. A couple weeks ago, same thing. This is just a dumpster juice of a service. Would not recommend at all. It should damn near be free to use this service. Update*** In case you were wondering if I'm joking or not in my post from 21 hours ago... The internet still isn't working. Still getting the most reliable and faster internet speech and they keep pushing the time that the internet will be on, back by 3 hours. They literally have the worst team ever. Who's fixing the internet? 3rd graders? Anyway Ive called AT&T and I'm switching over to them tomorrow. Btw you can't speak with a representative while the internet is down. So termination isn't possible. Don't know what internet has to do with a phone call when they have their chatters msging 5 msgs back to back because they don't know how to send one detailed msg. Surprisingly I've been paying $115 dollars for this shit internet. At least with at&t it'll be 60 for working internet and faster speeds.

Waited on the phone for hours to speak to someone. Or tried the call back because they were so busy that did not happen, they moved two buildings down and was never notified of a change of address.. don't go with them. Close out my service today, would not prorate me, had to pay for the whole month of march.

I had the RS 25MB plan for 4 years on a 4K TV and 2 computers and could never stream 1080P video…read morereliably without buffering, even when it worked. The employees were great and tried their best on several occasions to improve the service with what they had. I received the advertised speed fairly often but it was not stable enough to stream. Latency ranged from the double digits to 500-700ms. I might get 25MB\sec one time and 2MB the next. It was like paying $88 for a tank of gas and only getting 5 gallons, but there was nothing I could do but suck it up and hope for something better next month. Frequent outages were frustrating. Some were brief and some were long but I had them weekly. Rain? Forget it. The slightest rain would result in rain fade and full loss of connectivity until it had passed. It's the norm with line of sight technology but it's aggravating. If you live close to one of their towers you probably wouldn't notice. I was maybe 3 miles away with good signal strength. Don't buy the story that 25 megs won't stream. It's the minimum needed for 4K and more than enough for 1080p unless you have several data hungry devices in the home. I now have 30MB from a local competitor and 4K video streams like water with two computers surfing YouTube. Latency is in the 20's. I give a ton of credit to the employees for trying but the trouble was beyond their reach. I hope RS can get their problems resolved. Competition is healthy.

I spoke with Charles, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and actually helped me file an insurance claim for a new phone. Instead of spending a minimum of $500 for a new phone, Charles helped me get a replacement phone that only cost my $150 deductible! Most salespeople would have taken my money without a second thought. The fact that he would even call the insurance for me and get me get a replacement really means a lot. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

First, the actual stores know nothing about what goes on with the rest of the company, esp any specials online. And be ready to wait forever. Secondly, if you only have home internet and not cell service with them, good luck! You can't even log on. The program does not allow you in and even customer service can't find you. Doesn't matter that they have my cell number and I registered it with them. I did not want to bundle. They will keep hassling you on that too. Third, keep track of the specials they offer like a free tv or PlayStation, they say it but you don't get it so easily. The wait is a full billing cycle and again the left hand knows nothing of what the right hand does. Been on the phone numerous times for long periods trying to resolve this and get my gift. Fourth, keep all receipts! So glad I kept my UPS return of the home Internet unit, they kept emailing they would charge me $200 and I kept calling to give them my documentation. They will not give me a confirmation of my call or status, until finally, I appealed to the supervisor by phone and insisted on some sort of email confirmation that they do indeed have my unit and will not be charged.

Immediately after signing the contract (and I mean literally, *immediately* after) there was a dramatic switch. We were locked in and they knew it. Caveat emptor. The three years of coverage was periodically marked by technical issues that were a pain to coordinate and resolve. Our outdoor storage shed got burgled a couple of times and interacting with True Protection I just remember having the sense that they did not GAF, to be blunt. The alarm system, and monitoring was a nuisance and source of stress. You will be better served with a DIY solution from Best Buy that does not rely on locking yourself in to these contracts. It is incredibly rare for me to bother giving a negative review. I try to review small businesses I interact with who do great work. When I saw the email soliciting reviews in my inbox, I was kinda shocked. Looking at all the glowing reviews, I found myself agreeing with another reviewer who thought this was deluged with friends and family pumping the numbers. It's just hard for me to imagine a company that consistently delivered such a poor customer experience for multiple years could have these glowing reviews. I I will say it again: prior to signing the contract they are amazing. After you sign it is all downhill. Beware.
