Almost can't believe I'm writing such a positive review given that my car had the worst possible…read moreoutcome. My poor little 2014 Ford Focus couldn't outrun its famously troublesome transmission. I was quoted $9k to fix it which was more than I paid for the car 5 years ago in the first place, so decided not to move forward with the fix. That said the team here was so incredibly helpful and very kind. I especially liked that they sent me a link via text to a full written workup of everything they looked into with the car, it was even color coded to show what needed immediate attention and what I could theoretically wait to address. As someone with little to no experience with cars, they made it easy for me to understand what was wrong, and for me to share what they found with the people in my life who know more about cars than I do thanks to that digital documentation. I'm searching for a "new" used car now, and will definitely be bringing any potential cars to Ulmer's Loveland for a pre-purchase inspection. They have really earned my trust!

I am a proud 52 year business owner and can honestly say I have never treated a customer that way I was treated at Christian Brothers. Not saying I never had an issue on a order but always worked a settlement out. I got nothing for the $2800.00 repair that didn't fix the problem after I was assured it would. Later I received an estimate of $379 to replace the air intake hose. I agreed, but afterwards discovered the part costs about $30 and can be replaced by an experienced mechanic in about 30 minutes. CB charged $85 for labor, $270 for the part, plus tax! This is a clear case of gouging the customer. The next time I need service, I'll consider more cost effective options.

I was quoted $650 for something I paid $57 for the part then spent 45 minutes installing on a day the kids baseball game got rained out so that day I had time to work on something and saved almost 1/2 a weeks wages. Got 5 stars because they messaged me quickly replying back in a timely fashion and professional manner. It also rekindled my joy of working on cars with my nephew So next rain out I'll tackle pulling the intake and cleaning the intake valves and putting intake back on. As I kind of enjoyed working on the car with the kid. He's 13 and I bought this little GTI to be his first car. I brought in my 2015 Mini Cooper Countryman JCW-S for repairs related to the main bearing seal and cover, but the issue was not resolved despite being charged multiple times for the same repair and related work. In total, my vehicle was at the shop for nearly six weeks, and the oil leaks continued during that time. I had to keep adding oil, complete multiple oil changes, and replace belts and other parts that became saturated with oil. I also had difficulty obtaining a refund. Over time, I was given several explanations for the delay, including that the owner was out of town, the check had already been prepared, the business had changed banks and software systems, and later that the check had been lost. The shop offered services equal to part of the refund amount, but the work performed had to be redone less than two weeks later after the installed parts failed. I also had an issue after the shop replaced the xenon headlights on my Durango and did not reinstall the rubber protective covers, which allowed rain to enter and damage the bulbs. Overall, my experience raised serious concerns about the quality, reliability, and follow-through of the service provided. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before choosing this shop for vehicle repairs.
