I prefer to go to an auto parts store than a big box, even though I…read moreknow they cost more, because the turn over on things like brake fluid is slow at big box stores. So two guys behind register. One is sitting on a chair the other is busy with a rental tool issue. I politely asked can the other seated guy check me out. He said he couldn't? The other guy switched and came over which was nice. But the. The fluid rang up $12.49 and the price on the end cap is $11.99. I showed it to him and he said he didn't change the paper tags yet so I had to pay the $12.49. It's $0.50 but it's not the point. Every store respects the price at point of sale if there is an issue. I won't be back. Dumb asses. Customer service is the key in commodity products there is an autozone a quart of a mile away.

Terrible customer service. The guy I talked to acted like I was bothering him to even be there…read more Actually sighed when I asked for help. I bought a battery from them. 2 weeks later it was dying every time I started my car. My mechanic said he thought it was definitely the battery. But the car would not start after I turned it off. They couldn't test it because it would not start on its own. They tole me I actually have to take the battery out, bring it in and let them charge it for 12 hours then they can test it. So to fix my battery that I'm pretty sure they sold it faulty, I (not a mechanic) have to take out my battery take it to them wait a day and put it back in myself. That mixed with the terrible attitude I was met with, left me never wanting to deal with Advanced Auto Parts again. First of all of I had felt like they even wanted me there, it would have helped. But to just take 10 min replace the battery could have changed my whole experience with this company. Unfortunately, I will not be buying from them anymore.

Just sold our 2011 Jetta to this location. So far, the…read moretransaction has went smoothly. Started off by comparing offers between 10-12 different pull a part/junkyards and also dealers. This location offered me the most. You can get an online offer really quickly. But, I would highly suggest calling. I called to confirm the offer and set up pickup. When I did they offered $100 more than the online quote. Worth it for a call I was going to make anyway. I will say that their telephone operations uses a third party to handle everything. The level that the agents can speak English clearly and fluently varies depending on who you get when you call. So, be prepared for that and to listen intently to what they say. I ended up calling twice. And it's a good thing I did because the information I got the second time about what is needed from me to make the transaction successful was much more the second time than the first. Second conversation contained valuable information I had not know it it might have slowed up the sale process. Or at least the final processes of releasing the car to them. Check was cut and ready for me at pickup. They even hauled it away. Good to note they offer more if you can or able to drive your vehicle to them or have it towed. But, for me it was worth the reduction in payout to get the tow. Still waiting on the check to clear. But, if it does and if there are no other unforeseen complications then I will be happy with using them for this service. They paid more for the vehicle than anyone else was willing to pay and so far everything has went very seamless. I will update this review should there be any other details arise worth noting. But, as it stands. If you are looking to salvage a car you need to get rid of this is a good option.
