I stopped by this Autozone location to get my battery tested. I needed a new one. I was ready to buy a new battery, but needed one question answered, "How do I know it's the battery and not the alternator? She gave me reasons the battery would fail, then said something to the affect of, "I gave the battery test results. that's what you came here for. if you want to buy a battery I'll write you up." and then walked back inside the store. Instead of following her back into the store, I closed my hood and drove a mile down the street to Walmart where I received better service. Yes, the big box retailer down the street that also sells fishing poles, televisions and beef jerky was able to answer all my questions, take my old battery out and install my new one all while providing better service than Autozone, a car parts specialist. I've received good service at other Autozones in the past, and I'm sure I'll go back in the future....just maybe not this location.

They tried with their backup battery, it's not working. They told that problem is with something else, that they don't know. Now I'm clueless. Called my insurance, they came in 15 mins, with their battery it just started in first attempt. Thanks to my insurance. I went to nearby store and changed battery in 10 mins. Rush is a…read moreFord recognized garage, an being that the motorhome sits on a Ford F53 chassis with a Ford V10 engine, you would think they would be able to find the starting issue. In the mean time the motorhome developed an issue with not wanting to go in reverse when engaged by the stick shift on a the column. This was confirmed by the intake agent at the counter, who tried to put the motorhome into reverse with no success. Well after Rush's somewhat thorough diagnostic inspection, they could not find the starting issue, nor could they find the issue with the motorhome going into reverse. We were sent a email informing us that the motorhome was ready to be picked up. We arrived at Rush to pickup the motorhome at 11:39 Am, apparently the motorhome had been shut off, and Rush personal could not get it started. We proceed to wait until 12: 28 before the motorhome was brought around for us to take. We took the motorhome back to the campsite we were staying in and you guessed it, the motorhome would not go into reverse to back into our spot. Overall I can not express how disappointed I am with the caliber of mechanical abilities at Rush Service Care at 11775 Highway Dr. in Cincinnat.

It was before closing when I called, and the phone just kept ringing. I was at the store two minutes past closing time, they were closed but a younger gentleman was letting someone out. I nicely asked him if I could get it and he was friendly as could be. Then the older man with glasses asked the younger guy what was he doing and he explained plush told him it was paid for only. The guy with glasses yelled at me, "see you at 7:30," which is opening time. He then looked at the younger guy and said," just make him come back tomorrow, I don't care if he is the f***ing King of England. It was past closing, so I am not upset about the part in the slightest. I appreciate the professionalism of the younger gentleman. The older man and his total disrguard of the customer like it was a joke, and yelling the profanity about if I were the King of England will have me never shop at an Oreilly's location again; and I suggest you avoid this on.
