I don't have an ignition coil on my car. I bought the wires, changed them, came back to have another diagnosis. A different employee helped me, and this time I asked him for a rotor and distributor cap. He quoted me around $270. I held back my laughter, and asked if they had anything else at maybe a different location. He suddenly found something for 90, but couldn't get it in until Tuesday. I went home, logged on to Amazon, found the two parts I need, and it will be at my home today (Tuesday); I paid less than $25 for Bosch parts, which is a brand I trust. All-in-all, I recommend going to the auto zone in Cheviot if you need helpful advice, and Amazon for the parts you need.

I consider myself fare minded and research all things without pre-judgement (I'm a researcher by trade and education). I do my best. However, with car salesman(women) and dealerships I am all in for stereotypes. I trust no one. 1st- There is NO HAGGLING. If you want to call it their gimmick so be it. It's politely and respectfully stated. Here's the car, this is your final price (taxes, etc.) for you to drive it home. 2nd- I paid cash, there was no push to get me into a loan. 3rd- No upselling. They ask if you'd like to hear about an extended warranty. I did. They told me. No bs price. Here's the warranty. You don't get anything else. No "here's a free mug if you buy the warranty." Simple. I took a pen though. It didn't have their name on it. It's not even an upsell- I just took it. 4th- I test drove it. Didn't like it. Drove another under no pressure. "Take it out for a while." That's your time frame "a while." The first test drive (first experience) it went to the shop. 90 minutes. They said price was solid, so was the car. 5th- Salesman. Great guy, James N. Not sure if I can give you his last name. We talked about the car a lot. Cool. Then we shot the s#@t about other stuff. GREAT guy. If he was an ass I still would have bought the car. Buy a car from him or just hang out. If you want call that a gimmick. 6th- The cars- research why rental companies sell cars at the 25- 30k mark. Easier to sell a car at 3oK miles than 40K miles. They want to keep the rental stock fresh. I don't like renting a 50 mile car that's 3 years old anymore than you do. 7th- The warranty that comes with the car is great. Look at the fine print- no b.s. Great. Look at most used car warranties. READ them. Deductibles and restrictions abound. READ the fine print. READ. 8th- My car had 3/4 tank of gas. Would have liked a full tank but I stole a pen so whatever. 9th- You have to PAY for the car. Only catch. Steal a pen- not the car. 10th. Longest Yelp review ever. Hertz- send me a free mug and I'll buy again. I'll send the pen back.
