My husband and I traveled 8 hours from Iowa (16 hours round trip) to purchase a used GMC Sierra with only 9,000 miles from this dealership. Before making the trip, our salesperson, Reuben, repeatedly assured us the truck was in "immaculate condition." He even sent us a walkaround video and told us there were no dents, dings, or issues. We specifically asked for photos or videos of any flaws, and he told us there were none. We completed nearly all of the paperwork ahead of time, brought a cashier's check as requested, and even agreed to finance through the dealership instead of our own bank after they encouraged us to do so. When we arrived, before we had even seen or test-driven the truck, Reuben immediately tried to rush us into signing the financing paperwork. We insisted on inspecting the truck first, and he became visibly upset and walked away. Within minutes of looking over the truck, we found numerous issues that had never been disclosed: * Rock chips all around the exterior that had not been touched up. * Glue dripping from the sunglasses holder onto the center console. * Glue stains on the center console and the sunglasses compartment. * Glue on the headliner that appeared permanent and would require replacement. * Reuben had previously told us the sunglasses holder had been replaced, not repaired with glue. * The interior had clearly not been detailed and was very dirty. * A chunk missing from the passenger door panel. * Most concerning, there was nesting material from an animal under the hood. We understand that used vehicles are not perfect, and we were not expecting a brand-new truck. However, we do expect honesty and accurate representation, especially after asking multiple times about the truck's condition before driving across multiple states. The General Sales Manager, Gabe, listened to our concerns and attempted to remove the glue from the headliner himself. Unfortunately, it would not come out. He offered an additional $500 off the truck, but we felt the damage warranted replacing the headliner and sunglasses console, which the dealership declined to do. Throughout the entire situation, Reuben disappeared and made no effort to help resolve the issues or apologize for the inaccurate information we had been given. Instead of addressing the problems with the truck we came to purchase, we were encouraged to buy a brand-new Sierra that was well outside our budget. This trip cost us far more than just our time. We drove 16 hours round trip, paid for gas, food, a hotel, and a babysitter for our children, only to find a vehicle that was nothing like it had been represented. Honesty and transparency go a long way. Had the dealership been upfront about the truck's condition, we could have made an informed decision before spending the time and money to travel from Iowa. Instead, we left disappointed and feeling that our time and trust were not valued. I hope this review encourages the dealership to be more transparent with future customers, especially those traveling long distances based on the representations made by their sales staff. read more

I purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra SLT in NOV2020 and have serviced my vehicle there since. Danny F. & Rashad made it the absolute easiest deal Ive ever made in my entire life. I continue to ponder on buying a Yukon such as the one pictured in my review but the dealership no longer offers the lifetime warranty which was a huge decision in my original purchase. Now luckily my truck has been beyond reliable but if they were to bring back the lifetime warranty I'd be driving away in a Yukon. Now regarding service Tommy is always awesome to work with and I have complete confidence in his recommendations regarding service. I'd also like to shout out Carl the service manager I think because he has always made it a point to acknowledge me a ls a customer! I've bought cars from other Joseph dealerships (Toyota) and have made the decision that I will always give Joseph GMC the opportunity as they are knowledgeable, honest, and truly work to earn your business. No stars if i could. Check engine light on, so i took it to O'Reilly first to get the codes. Went to this so called GMC repair and service dept. Checked in and sat for 2-1/2 hrs., finally got up and asked about my car. They came and said we'll have an estimate in 15 mins., they came back with an $7000 complete engine overhaul? Said my engine was using oil (said no thank you, give me my car). got home and checked the oil not even a drip low. Must have thought i was pretty naive, or stupid one. Bunch of thieves there. Will charge you 1 hour for something it takes 5 minutes to program. Which is 175 dollar. They won't disclose fees like this till they are done with service even though you asked for the total price. Oh and will take all your information, tell you an appointment time and not log the information or the appointment. Had to just show up on my unknown appointment just to give the same information. First time I called they said they needed to order a part for a recall and would call me back and the service manager said they would get with parts on when the parts would be here and set up a time later. Neither department called me back after 2 weeks. I called and they didn't need to order a part in the first place and was told when I first called that if we haven't called you back the part hasn't came in and they were ready to end the call. I then got transferred to parts saying there isn't anything ordered in my name. Oh don't get a key made here go to a lock smith 200 for key and programming. But here they will charge you 80 for a key then 25 to cut and then they won't tell you about the 175 dollar program fee for basic transponder key with zero buttons. I won't ever be coming back here. I'll be going to a place that actually makes you pay for time they spent doing the job. A bunch of thieving idiots if you ask me. read more

I worked the deal over the phone and Alex made certain the process was fast and smooth upon arrival with no surprises or hard sell for extras. Driving to Cincinnati to purchase from Joseph proved to be a great decision. Last month 2 lifters in my 2018 Yukon failed causing full engine failure. The very expensive repair was covered by the power train warranty Joseph provided with my purchase (bought Yukon used). I didn't initially put much value on their included Pro Certified Lifetime Warranty. As it just saved me over $7,000 I am really appreciative NOW. Why aren't there negative stars? WORST customer service ever! Drove an hour to look at & drive a car... arrived and NO ONE would wait on us. Finally someone did, but made it clear we were annoying him & disrupting whatever he was doing before we arrived. Drove the car and saw the sheet that said no warranty- asked uninterested salesperson about it. Could we have at least 30 days to take it to our mechanic? No, it was a year too old for any kind of warranty - get an email later from a bot saying warranties were still issued for vehicles from that year. ZERO effort was made to offer us another car, and when we asked, salesperson pulled up website that we could not see due to a random woman sitting at his desk with her foot up on the other available seat. Every single interaction we had made it obvious they could care less if we bought a car. If that's how they are when buying, what are they going to be like if there are issues later? This place is awesome! I went to the lot just to look around. A salesman came out right away and asked me if I was interested anything and then left me look around the lot. and left me alone. He was super easy to find when I need him and answered all my questions. The best part about this dealership is its not high pressure. I left after my test drive without feeling pressured once. After I left too look at another car before buying (had all intentions of coming home without buying) I just so impressed with salesman I returned but not minutes later to buy the truck at a great deal! I am alarmed by the lack of customer service and ineptitude by multiple employees after THEY made a huge mistake. After visiting the dealership for about 30 minutes, we left and realized our license plates were missing from our vehicle when we got to another dealership across the street. My husband called the dealership immediately to ask if they had taken the plates off our car. After having to explain the situation multiple times (because it is such an outrageous thing to happen), we did get confirmation that they had taken the plates off our car and had put one of them onto another car a customer had driven off in. While this was a HUGE mistake, I understand that mistakes happen. What we are most frustrated with is how they proceeded to handle the situation. They offered no sympathies, not a single apology and no attempt to rectify the situation or come up with a solution to get our plates to us/get us a car that we can drive. The general sales manager was blame-shifting, dismissive and accusatory. My husband had to contact them multiple times over the next 24 hours and ultimately had to threaten filing a police report for stolen plates before they finally gave them back to us. Brought my Acadia in for Service a year ago for a leaky transfer case and transmission went completely out under warranty. Wife picked up car and was told work was done and under a 12 month warranty. Found out the transfer case was STILL leaking during an oil change a couple weeks ago and dealer stated they never touched it while under warranty, even though the car was brought in from ANOTHER transmission place that has it documented it was leaking and told me to take it to the dealership because it was under warranty at that point... Now, out of warranty and transfer case still leaking and dealer robbed me of $650 to fix the leak! Never will I go back to these crooks.. I even called the district manager and they offered me 5% discount.. REALLY? When the dealer NEVER fixed it to begin with when it was under warranty.. Thieves!!! And the kicker is.. while it was in there this time for weird shifting, said the timing belt needed replaced and while they had it tore apart said the water pump was leaking, ..ANOTHER $600 for a water pump!! The car has 75,000 miles. We've replaced the cooling fan, the transmission went out, the water pump, the timing belt, Roof leaks fixed, computer reset, etc... and the dealership is still holding their hand out!!!! ..Oh and trust me.. This will go to the media and local papers, etc.. I have plenty of friends in the local media that will shed light on this places reputation and bring light to the fact they are saying they are performing work but not and they are waiting til the warranty is up to get money from the consumer!!! Worst customer service EVER and Tiffany as the GMC District rep was worthless!!
