Is this possibly one of the worst restaurants in the airport? Absolutely. Is the pizza super thin, smallish, and lacking flavor for $7-10 a slice? Definitely. Is the customer service dim and uninviting? Without a doubt. But if I'm being completely honest with myself, I would probably buy it again. Sometimes a slice of pie just hits the spot even when it's not that great. Although Costco, Sam's, and even Little Caesars would've been a better choice financially and orally- I would still probably grab a quick slice during another trip to the airport.

Thin cheap and expensive. This is supposed to be a slice of pizza but it's really not.

Airport pizza? My son loved it! The worker was super nice and accommodating to him! The place seemed clean. For airport food it wasn't bad my son said. He's also 9...but he knows good pizza. Will definitely stop here again the next time I'm in town!

Not bad but pricey. Also, no to-go ramekins for sauce, and no thank you given when tipped. My readers know I HATE it when I give someone money and they aren't appreciative. No tip next time.

I had 2 cheese slices that were stale and were literal rubber. It took a while to chew each one and it felt like a workout. By the second pizza I felt like giving up but my hungry stomach wouldn't stop me. The only reason this was finished was because of the sheer starvation in this airport setting. It made the card box seem more appetizing than the pizza. As for the price; it needs a separate review on its own, for that quality it should be lower... I'm not sure how they are still in business

Pretty good for airport food and much more reasonable than a $22 sandwich or burger. Water is, as usual overpriced because it's the airport, so I skipped it here. Service is quick, but seating is limited when crowded. Ambiance, Bergstrom is pretty nice as airports go.

Delicious pizza when you're in a hurry! Providing that you want nothing special and can choose from what's available in the glass case, this is your spot for a bite to eat at the airport! I got me a big slice of pepperoni pizza that had no grease on it pretty much. A lot of single slice places, you have to pat dry a little bit to get rid of some of the grease, but not here! This was the last thing I ate in the beautiful city of Austin, and I went out with a bang I'd say!

Decent NY slice pizza. Service was fast and friendly. Not much atmosphere since it's a food shop at the airport but it was clean.

    Pepperoni Slice $8.11 (3/20/24)

This was definitely a good slice of pizza. I got a pepperoni slice which came out to $8.11. The slice was the perfect size, the pepperoni was plentiful and crispy, it was very well seasoned and it just hit the spot before a long 8 hour flight. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you find yourself in the Austin Airport!

I used to frequent Salvation on a regular basis at the original on 34th street just off Guadalupe. They had the best NY style pizza of all shapes and sizes many years before all the franchises came to town and became a trend. I was so disappointed it had closed when I returned after a number of years away from Austin. I had no idea they moved to the new wing in the airport, since most of my flights still depart out of the old wing. Was so glad to see it here. And it is still as good, but of course more expensive than the original. Good to see Austin airport providing space for local Austin Icons like Salvation, Hutt's hamburgers, and Toy Joy, that we're forced out of their original places because of all the commercialization going on in Austin and the ridiculous real estate price increases.

Jesus was so rude. I wanted a different type of pizza for one of my slices and he got super annoyed that he had to go cut up the pepperoni pizza that was just sitting there behind him. And mumbled a bad word under his breath. The pizza was okay not worth almost 100 bucks for 4 people.

Tonight was super busy with FIFA. Rich was outstanding. Never letting a drink reach empty. So appreciative of the service.

Tiny slice, and it was extremely average. Service was poor, but the price is worse. $10 a slice for below average pizza.

Luckily, they offer plenty of other slices, so there's something for just about every preference. I also love that you can mix and match slices to create a colorful, Instagram-worthy spread. It makes the whole experience feel a little more fun. The wine bar inside is another highlight, with a great selection that pairs perfectly with the pizza. I usually end up ordering at least two glasses. There's often a line on Friday and Saturday nights, so be prepared to wait. It helps to have one person grab a seat inside or outside while someone else stays in line.

We waited about 30 mins to place our order abd it took about an hr to receive it. It was a quick easy method to play your order at the booth. Everything is self serve. It was quite hot outside and seats are limited for the indoor a.c at the adjoining bar. The pizza was great when it did come. The pepp and pep was my fave but my husband loved the cheese. I will say the most disappointing thing was the water. We always find it perplexing when a restaurant served seemingly high quality food but provides trash unfiltered water. It makes us really then question the quality of the food.

We paid, got the buzzer for the table, and picked where we wanted to sit with no issues as there weren't very many people there because it was after the lunch rush. My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Fat Queen. The Pepperoni Pizza was good. The Pepperonis were small and tasty. The Fat Queen was just as good. It comes with Pepperoni, Soppressata, and Italian Sausage. I really liked the flavor of all of the meat in the marinara sauce plus the pizza crust is light and fluffy. Overall Pieous is a great place to get some good pizza. The service and pizza were good. I suggest going at an off time that isn't the typical lunch or dinner time.

Make note of their hours as well because they are closed in middle of day. 4-8pm I'm the afternoon does not give a big window to choose your dining time. But the restaurant checks all the boxes. Great ambience. Fun indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty food. Big outdoor space for little ones to play. Convenient location. Decent pricing. The salads are served on big trays which makes sharing easy (even when I didn't really want to share my yummy tossed salad with toasted garbanzo beans and Chunks of fresh mozzarella and a super yummy dressing. The pasta and pizza tasted really good. From an owner of a few pizza places in Houston, I was disappointed in the crispness of the dough. I don't care for pizza that can hold its shape when being held. But if I just told myself it was bread instead- I enjoyed it. It was really the pasta and salad for me. We didn't try too much because we were actually surprised it was open. Many friends mentioned the desserts were to die for. Even Guy on DDD mentioned the caramel rolls were what cinnamon rolls wish they could be. He also LOVED the pastrami sandwiches. So I'd i could do a 1-10 scale I'd give it a 9 for the extra work we had to put in to align with their limited open hours and for the soggy crust. But highest marks on the rest. They also have a room you can rent out in the back or the restaurant and good parking. Next time you want pie- Give pieous a try

I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?
