When I came last weekend the vibes were great, it was just extremely packed to the point that everyone was grinding up against each other. Which in that moment I didn't care because I figured it's at capacity and that's normal. Although, I realized when I was leaving the bar that someone had opened my purse and taken my entire wallet. I was bummed because I couldn't continue partying up the night. This led me to message them on Instagram, which was great because they told me to come in and drinks would be on them for the inconvenience. We got to the bar and I spoke with the bouncer and he said to go to the bartenders, that they would direct me to Rensel the bar manager. He was absolutely lovely, provided my friends and I a round of cocktails and told us to look for Sophia for another round. We didn't end up getting another round because we were exhausted from dancing the night away. It was still very nice and accommodating that they did that and we appreciated it. Sophia was very bubbly and attentive as well. Overall, if you are looking for a bar with a disco ball!! This is a cool spot to come to, they have so many different specialty cocktails. They are all delicious and unique! The music is great, the dj really keeps the crowd moving. For parking, there is a lot in the back of the establishment or street parking as well.

Loved the comfortable lounge like seating and scannable menus. The Sylvester has a great happy hour. Great cocktails, wine and beer choices. Looking at the menu, they have interesting cocktails. Seems like they put a spin on the traditional mixtures. Two that stood out to me were the whiskey sour and French martini. Delicious mixtures by bartender Robby. He was attentive and able to answer questions about their cocktail twist. Especially loved that he mentioned their 18% gratuity was already added to the check. We added a little something extra just for honesty :-D Overall loved The Sylvester. Great service, delicious drinks and in my opinion, perfect ambiance.

Btw if you want your pasta to be served alongside your main protein choice tell your server and make sure he understands. Otherwise you will be eating it separately. That being said, over all the food & portions were good. We were a group of 8 and ordered many dishes. Some worth mentioning were the prawns in green sauce, the Branzino and the steak. Yes.... I'm sure it's beautiful in the evenings. I had the Royal with cheese as well as the Caesar salad. The burger was solid - it is a smash burger with two patties, pickles, tomato, lettuce and a good sauce. I wish that it had onions on it - I think that would have pulled it all together! The salad was not your usual Caesar salad, with corn and bacon bits. Overall, it was a solid lunch meal. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would love to come back to try their happy hour or brunch menu!

Ironically, we happened to pass by on our way to dinner, and when I asked the bouncer, he told us kids were allowed--so in we went. Watching the bartenders in action was a performance in itself, and my kids were completely amazed. We only stopped in for drinks, and since we were with kids, we were seated at the tables rather than the bar, which was totally fine. Our server was Juan M., he was very nice and really made the dining experience a great one. We made it just in the knick of time to eat before the kitchen closed. I got lucky because I called before getting there and asked for a table for 4 and coincidentally there was one available. This restaurant/bar was very nice. The music was great the entire evening, the Dj was wonderful. The atmosphere was fun, while still being chill to have a sit down dinner. You really get the full dining experience, even at 11:30 pm! Every food dish was great; from the octopus to the Wagyu sliders. They did not disappoint what so ever. The octopus had a Peruvian twist on it and it really hit the spot with the crispy bed of potatoes! The sliders were extremely good, I honestly couldn't put the slider down from how good it was. My husband got the spicy pasta and he absolutely loved it, I can't recall the name right now and I honestly forgot to picture it. My friend enjoyed a sushi roll and she liked it. The cocktails were good too, I enjoyed an espresso martini. I started with their signature Mexpresso Martini but I didn't love it with tequila so Juan was kind enough to get it made with vodka instead. The second time around it was much better, very smooth and not too strong. If you are looking for a great spot to have a nice dinner and cocktails, this is probably one of the best spots in Wynwood to check out. It's upscale and honestly decently priced if you ask me. The vibes were just immaculate. Definitely a spot to have on your bucket list to check out.
