If you're reading this, stop now and just book the reservation, then come back to finish reading. I'll wait. :) ...booked? Ok, good! This place is absolutely incredible on so many levels. It's interior is visually stunning, the service rivals most high-end and Michelin-rated restaurants, and the food and presentation is phenomenal. I realize that Miami has thousands of incredible restaurants, and this is one I of them that I'd definitely go to again. 3 of us dined there for an early dinner (maybe 5:30 or 6? Even 7 might be early for Miami folk). We had cocktails and mocktails, incredible warm pita bread with a dip that had walnuts in it, a traditional Greek salad, a yogurt-honey dip, short ribs, mini cakes, and more. We were quite literally in foodie heaven for 3 hours and enjoyed all of it. You're going to love it! Enjoy!

This place is absolutely incredible! I came with my wife, my cousin, and his wife, and we were all blown away. Amavi radiates major Tulum energy, paired with a vibrant and beautifully crafted Mediterranean menu. We kicked things off with the burrata, the carrot tarator, and the bluefin tuna crudo--each one light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. For mains, we went with the chicken and steak skewers, both perfectly juicy, along with the tagliatelle and branzino. We shared everything family-style, which was ideal because it let us taste it all. The DJ, the fire cocktails, and the whole vibe had us turning up right at the dinner table. An absolute must-try--we'll definitely be back!

10/10, hands down. The food was absolutely delicious, and the music really complements the atmosphere. My husband and I came to Midtown for lunch, and since this place wasn't busy, we decided to stop by and indulge in a little bit of everything. The hummus was perfectly portioned as a starter, the octopus was phenomenal, and my husband enjoyed the oysters (we had to request this as it wasn't on the menu since the place had just opened for the day). As for entrees, the lamb chops were seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the salmon was simply incredible. I am most definitely coming back as I was not able to try the drinks due to the bar being closed. I would definitely recommend this place for birthdays and anniversaries.

What an amazing night at AMAVI, the food, the staff, the music, the People? All 10's across the board.

The place is very chic, modern, elegant, and the vibe is great. After making our reservation, we received multiple emails emphasizing the importance of arriving on time and adhering to the dress code, warning that otherwise we could face a penalty or even be denied service. We made sure to arrive promptly and followed the dress code. Surprise number one: while most people did respect the dress code, there were guests wearing shorts and flip-flops. Surprise number two: despite being on time, we had to wait 45 minutes for our table, and no even a complimentary drink or any attention was offered during this long wait. Staying faithful to the Miami concept of a nightclub-restaurant, the music was loud and lively, and there was a central area designated for shows and presentations. Unfortunately, the only entertainment was a repetitive ten-minute fire-dancer performance every 45 minutes or so , which felt underwhelming given the expectation set by the atmosphere. Our server and runners were friendly, polite, and professional, but overall service needs improvement. It seemed unorganized and no proactive. We had to ask for water refills, new cocktails, fresh silverware, oil, and vinaigrette..... At times, two different servers even brought the same items twice, showing a lack of coordination and planning. On the positive side, the food was quite good. The New York steak was lean and perfectly cooked, the short ribs were excellent, and the mafaldini was hearty and delicious. The octopus, however, was on the tougher side, and we could not  try the kofta skewers since they had run out. Portions were decent, and in my opinion, reasonably priced. The drinks were generally good, although some cocktails leaned too much on the syrupy side. Overall, the night was long but enjoyable, and  It deserves another try in the future.

The seared salmon.

When I came last weekend the vibes were great, it was just extremely packed to the point that everyone was grinding up against each other. Which in that moment I didn't care because I figured it's at capacity and that's normal. Although, I realized when I was leaving the bar that someone had opened my purse and taken my entire wallet. I was bummed because I couldn't continue partying up the night. This led me to message them on Instagram, which was great because they told me to come in and drinks would be on them for the inconvenience. We got to the bar and I spoke with the bouncer and he said to go to the bartenders, that they would direct me to Rensel the bar manager. He was absolutely lovely, provided my friends and I a round of cocktails and told us to look for Sophia for another round. We didn't end up getting another round because we were exhausted from dancing the night away. It was still very nice and accommodating that they did that and we appreciated it. Sophia was very bubbly and attentive as well. Overall, if you are looking for a bar with a disco ball!! This is a cool spot to come to, they have so many different specialty cocktails. They are all delicious and unique! The music is great, the dj really keeps the crowd moving. For parking, there is a lot in the back of the establishment or street parking as well.

Loved the comfortable lounge like seating and scannable menus. The Sylvester has a great happy hour. Great cocktails, wine and beer choices. Looking at the menu, they have interesting cocktails. Seems like they put a spin on the traditional mixtures. Two that stood out to me were the whiskey sour and French martini. Delicious mixtures by bartender Robby. He was attentive and able to answer questions about their cocktail twist. Especially loved that he mentioned their 18% gratuity was already added to the check. We added a little something extra just for honesty :-D Overall loved The Sylvester. Great service, delicious drinks and in my opinion, perfect ambiance.

Jake creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality, attention, and overall vibe make the experience really special. They have great signature cocktails, and I also appreciate the selection of non-alcoholic options, including good adaptogens drinks and non-alcoholic beer. The burger is honestly incredible -- one of the best I've had. I usually order it without the bun, and it's still amazing. The fries are excellent, and the patty has such a rich, delicious beef flavor. The medium cook was absolutely perfect. The olives are also delicious -- a small detail, but it shows the attention to quality. They also have happy hours 4-7pm and live jazz music on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, which makes the evening even better. Great crowd, great atmosphere, and a place where you genuinely want to come back. Highly recommend!

Ironically, we happened to pass by on our way to dinner, and when I asked the bouncer, he told us kids were allowed--so in we went. While you can definitely hear the music, it's not overly loud and you can still have a comfortable conversation. The drinks were incredible, exactly what you'd expect from a Top 50 bar in the world. Watching the bartenders in action was a performance in itself, and my kids were completely amazed. We only stopped in for drinks, and since we were with kids, we were seated at the tables rather than the bar, which was totally fine. In the back, there's a speakeasy-style area that was dimly lit and lined with books, creating a really cool, intimate atmosphere. Overall, we loved the experience and will definitely be back.

From the moment we got dropped off, something was giving off amazing vibes. Not to wave anyone off but our server Juan (?) C (Carlos?) was incredibly awesome and attentive. We also had such a pleasure to Christian who I believe is the bar director of the bespoke program they uphold there. I can't (nor my wife) recall what she ordered but I kicked things off with the Mexpresso Martini and then took Christian's rec of the Un Ultimo Beso. Recall what I mentioned at the beginning? Each course was thoughtfully designed and was delicious at every bite. I especially loved the crudo and dessert. This was my first time having crudo with a coconut milk base and it was to die for. The dessert had so many different textures, you could tell lots of artistry went into creating it. While I've had many salmon dishes, I'd never had it sous vide. It comes out almost a medium rare texture and is very soft, not the typical flaky style, but it was very well accompanied by the sauce and crispy skin. Heads up, they add a 20% gratuity to the check

We arrived on time for our reservation made for "INSIDE SEATING" (note you will have to pay to make a reservation.) The unfriendly hostess walked us to an outdoor table - that despite the multitude of fans - was humid and uncomfortable. When I told her we didn't want a table outside it seemed to bother her and her response: we are really full I won't promise you anything (eye roll) and she proceeds to walk back through the aisle of empty tables to the front desk. Behind us was a couple who arrived AFTER we did. And can you believe they were escorted without an issue to the upstairs INSIDE SEATING dining area - to the very tables they apparently did not have for us!!! I have to wonder if this was profiling or she just didn't like our face? Guess not all guest are created equal here. Forced to seat us inside after my husband showed her the reservation for INSIDE seating she "accommodates" us downstairs next to the bathrooms in a tight miniature table on uncomfortable plastic wicker chairs between two large groups where we couldn't get out of our seat and had the view of a water damaged ceiling over our heads. After what seemed like quite a while the waiter (poor guy) came to greet us. Now this was the only highlight of this erroneous Michelin Star establishment. He seemed overworked with all the tables in that area but was polite attentive and funny. So pleasant that I wonder why he's working in this place. I had to ask for the bread that never came on its own. The drinks were ok. The food: Lobster - the pastry was soggy on the bottom and tasted slightly burnt on the outer crispy corners. The lobster was well cooked and the sauce was good but nothing spectacular. Hanger steak - the steak was very good - cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare). The sweet potato cakes crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the mushroom were cooked to perfection. Wish there was more of it, you get 2 sweet potato cakes the size of a strip of gum and 3 mushrooms slices. The halibut - hands down the most delicious thing on the menu. The fish was fresh and the caviar sauce was really exceptional - wish I had a spoon. Chocolate caramel - The dessert was a mix of flavor the chocolate has a tangy taste, the ice cream on the bottom was a nice surprise, however it left much to be desired - we left half on the plate. All in all the front of the house sets the tone and the horrid attitude of the hostess and the way she refused to sit us upstairs in our reserved requested dining area, soured our experience from the start. My understanding is that a Michelin Star is a highly sought status that entails the full experience of a dining establishment and I'm sorry to say they should rethink giving Le Jardinier this award in the future. Don't come here.
