    Birthday girl! Love the sign
    Christina N.

Had a fun time bringing my Shiba Inu here on her birthday! The staff was friendly and helpful in helping me pick out her special treat and even recommending the best size for her. After scooping her doggie ice cream they even got the birthday sign out for photo ops! That's good advertisement *wink wink* and when she was done the employee put the leftovers in a to-go cup for my dog to enjoy at home. They offer other treats for dogs and have accessories for purchase. Very cute little shop. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends who want to treat their pups!

Love this cute place where you can bring your furry babies and truly treat them to ice cream, unique treats, bountiful of leashes, accessories... a true best friends' haven! The owner Cami is so friendly and welcoming, loves her friendly staff and it shows! I got my baby Guy a small cup of maple and bacon ice cream. It looked so decadent and creamy. Guy was super excited, truly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place - it was explained to me that the seats are for you to bring in your fur babies and have them sit at the table with you - just like a nice afternoon treat party!

Peanut butter and Banana ice cream

This was a really unique experience for my pup! He enjoyed the Banana and Peanut Butter ice cream! Super friendly staff, the prices are definitely on the pricey side. Overall, great experience but would not frequent just because of the prices!

They recently hosted an Easter egg hunt for dogs, and it was honestly such a fun and creative experience. They had been promoting it everywhere -- in-store, online, and at other events -- so I was actually a little surprised more people didn't come out, because this is definitely one of those events you don't want to miss. They hid little "eggs" throughout the store in small cups for the dogs to sniff out, which was such a cute and thoughtful idea. Inside were all-natural freeze-dried treats, and I have to say, they actually had a really good selection. Lexi had six to find, and watching her go around searching (with a little help from me ) was so much fun. What I also loved is that they made it fun for the pet parents too. They had a little cookie tray for the adults, along with sodas and candy, which was such a nice touch and made it feel even more welcoming and well thought out. And to make it even better -- Lexi ended up being the big winner of the night and won a $25 gift card, which made it even more exciting! One thing I really appreciate about Care-A-Lot is that they consistently put together events like this for the community. They do really fun seasonal events (their dog-friendly Halloween events are always a favorite too), and I would honestly hate for people to miss out on them because they truly put effort into making them special. If you have a dog, it's definitely worth checking their website and event schedule so you don't miss the next one. Beyond the events, the store itself is always a great experience. It's clean, well laid out, and easy to shop, and the staff is always friendly, pleasant, and helpful. I've even used their self-service dog wash station, and that was a great experience too -- very clean, very convenient, and the employees were super helpful. This is truly one of my favorite local pet stores to support. If you missed this event, definitely don't miss the next one. We had worked on getting him in for months, paid extra for shots that other daycare places don't require, passed their temperament test, raced to call in and reserve daycare - that is, if we weren't put on the waiting list. I was made aware of their strict policy of dogs acting out: One strike and you're out. It was also his first day there and I can only imagine that my dog was feeling anxious on his first day as some children or normal people would be at their first day at anything. I'm also disappointed in hearing how they handled my dog. He's been going to doggy daycare since he was a puppy, has worked this multiple dog trainers throughout the years, and not once have I heard professionals grab dogs by their collar in the middle of a fight. We were taught by our trainers and past doggy daycare centers not to do that. This is extremely unfortunate because our dog's vet is right next door and now we'll have to explore a further option for us. I only recommend this place if you're interested in spending weeks to fulfill their requirements, pay for additional shots, fight every week to be that "special caller" that'll be granted daycare (you can only reserve a week in advance - if you're lucky), and cross your fingers that your dog doesn't get hit with the "one strike and you're out" policy. Oh, and also be fine with workers that resort to pulling a dog's collar in the middle of a fight. Just a tip, one of our dog's last daycare places used bitter apple spray before resorting to touching the dogs.

Our dog went several days a week for a year and a half until we moved away, and we loved everything about it. She would get SO excited to go see her pup friends/staff. The staff treated her like their own, were always extremely communicative, sent home daily report cards, and who doesn't love seeing silly pictures of their dog playing/getting dressed up everyday? Big plus that they're next to the vet as well. If you're not able to get on the "regular" list, then you just need to be diligent about calling a week ahead to schedule your days before they fill up. Highly recommend!!!!!
