My daughter had her 1st riding session with Charlotte and she had so much fun! It was not only a fun way to connect with such a beautiful animal, but learn the proper ways on how to take care of the horses, clean them, saddle, wash etc.. At only 3 years old she was learning how to make the horse go and stop & go left and right. Charlotte was super patient with my daughter and we can't wait to come back!

    A lesson with Charlotte...

Small and quaint, we ordered hot chocolate and cake pops for the ride. Very pretty 12-15 minute ride through gorgeous grounds and winery, and an adorable set up going through Santa's workshop. He had great questions and interactions with the two little girls with us, made them smile in wonderment. And made us parents laugh, too. Affordable, too. $75 per carriage, and we had 6 people in our carriage-2 sets of parents and 2 kids. The 6 of us loved it. All in all, a great evening.

The Headless Horseman Carriage Ride was definitely a hit! When my nephew asked his daughter, what was the favorite thing about our family get together, she said, the Headless Horseman ride. We also found a Great Pyrenees on site that she fell in love with. This dog was such a sweetie! It was about a 20-minute horse-drawn wagon ride through Wine Country Hollow where we saw some cute Halloween and fall scenes and then we had a magical encounter with the Headless Horseman! There is coffee, hot chocolate & treats available from Coffee Cave to enjoy before or after your ride. Everybody working we're all fun and friendly. The Headless Horseman ride is available select October nights from 5:30 to 9:30 PM at a reasonable $15. This fills quickly, though, and we were lucky to get a reservation. I would love to come back and try some of their other carriage rides.

1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more We went on an adventure with Action Tours in Big Bear and decided to rent a GoPro from them for $49 (tax included) so we could record the whole experience. What they never told us was that the SD card only holds about 45 minutes of video... even though the tour lasts 3 hours. Because of that, the camera ran out of space before we even really started, and we didn't get to record the full experience at all. When I called afterward to explain the issue, the staff was extremely rude. They basically said, "You rented a GoPro to get a video, and you got a video," and refused to take any responsibility. They made it clear they don't do refunds, even though they never told us about the recording limit in the first place. Overall, the adventure itself is just okay -- you get what you pay for, nothing extra. But the unprofessional and rude staff completely ruined it for us. Definitely do NOT recommend renting the GoPro, and honestly the customer service alone makes it hard to recommend Action Tours at all.

Unfortunately, due to a mistake on our end when marking our calendar, we missed our original booking date. We absolutely acknowledged and took full responsibility for the error, and respectfully reached out to Big Bear Zipline to explain the situation and see what options were available to salvage the experience. As shown in the attached screenshots, we approached the situation kindly, respectfully, and understanding that businesses must balance policies with customer service. We shared that we were not asking for a free experience, but simply hoped for some understanding given the circumstances and the significant payment we had already made. Despite our efforts to find a middle ground, the business remained firm, reiterating that although they "have compassion," they would not accommodate further without additional payment. While we respected their right to enforce their policy, the interaction felt very transactional, and sadly did not reflect the spirit of hospitality we had hoped for when planning a meaningful family trip. We received one email when we purchased the tickets two months ago and one phone call 10 minutes before our scheduled reservation. In the end, it may have been a blessing in disguise. We explored other activities around Big Bear that felt incredibly welcoming, fun, and family-oriented -- experiences that created beautiful memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We share this review not out of anger, but to offer honest feedback: mistakes happen, and sometimes, a little flexibility and kindness could leave a much bigger, positive impact on families looking to create lasting memories.

This one is for Cameron!…read more On Friday September 30, my friends and I took this tour to celebrate my bachelorette. We have never been to the Valle before, and after hearing all the violence that occurred during the weekend of Baja Beach, we were a little nervous to cross, but it was amazing! Cameron was great, he kept our group engaged and made us all feel safe! We were a private tour and he picked us up from our Air b&b, we headed straight across the border and drove ocean side to our first stop... tacos! Cant go to mexico without stopping to enjoy some street tacos. Next stop, Finca La Carodilla. The winery was beautiful, however, we did not love the wine... we still had a great time enjoying the scenery. Next stop, Xalos. While this wasn't on the agenda, Cameron and Ryan created this detour option for us after Adobe winery was unable to host us. Here we enjoyed a fancy cocktail and some delicious churros. Again, beautiful scenery! Third stop, Monte Xanic. This was by far our favorite winery for the day. There are beautiful hills, and a small (possibly man made) lake on site... the wine was excellent, we bought four wine bottles. Lastly dinner, wow... The scenery, yet again! The tables were set up with a picnic cloth under string lights. We arrived for dinner around sunset, and we watched the beautiful sunset colors painted in the sky between the hills. Our food was delicious, and they did offer drinks at this final stop, which we did pay for separately. Lastly, our trip was over and we were headed home. Half our group had global entry, which was nice since they did not have to step out on the drive back from the border. My friends and I are all from Mexico, however, none of us had visited this region before. Its so nice to see how Mexico is becoming more known for their wine and aesthetics... Definitely bring cash, comfortable shoes and an empty stomach as there is plenty of food throughout this experience. Everything was great, and our group enjoyed Camerons company and the knowledge he shared with us on baja california and the up and coming Ruadeseo company.

They were warm and smart and great conversationalists, which helps me immensely while stuck in the car. They took us thru Valle de Guadalupe and we got to see much of the coast on the way to our lunch taco stop. Vegan options were included so I was thrilled. We ate to our heart's content and then we made way to our first winery. It was spacious, peaceful, and extremely clean. Next we went to the second winery, our favorite of the trip and we were able to try not just the wine but some snacks made from the food grown on the property. And lastly we stopped at a small cute winery for more food to soak up the booze a bit. They fed us SO much, and then had wine and agua frescos for us to enjoy as well. Each place was slightly different and so for that I'm super grateful. They are truly some of the most genuine people you will meet. We are already planning a trip to go back with hem again. Thanks so much!
