The pizza was really good! Delivery in about 30 minutes. The crust was not thin but it wasn't too thick. I would order again.

Best pizza in Rochester. If you haven't tried it, give it a go. We have ordered about 10 times and have never had a bad pie.

I love trying new ethnic cuisines with a homegrown feel and this hit the spot!…read moreThey used to be on South Wedge but have since out grown the space and are now on W Ridge Road in Spencerport in the Braemer Golf Club. I learnt that Ukrainian cuisine shares a lot of overlap with Polish cuisine. I enjoyed trying the cabbage rolls (Holubtsi), pickled vegetable dish, Salo (cured bacon) assortment of Ukrainian dumplings (Varenyky), borsch, and potato pancakes (Deruny). I also had their pork shashlyk and potato/egg plant dish. Though the pork was marinated very nicely, it was a bit too dry and tough for my liking. Food was plentiful and it was great to sample such authentic cuisine.

I think the quality of the food is good but the flavor profile was a little redundant for me, so this is probably more of a taste preference difference then. My impression was the whole menu was potatoes in every dumpling form, lots of dill, butter, sour cream, and cheese. Yes the actual dough was airy but a very heavy meal here that can leave those intolerant of oils and cheese to feel a little full. Good service and definitely a good group experience for those wishing to try new cuisine. Potato pancakes- similar to latkes- oily and decadent. Latkes are usually shredded potatoes and this was more potatoes dough. Still good. Nalysnyky- it was somewhat of a folded mini crepes with a savory stuffing that went with a chicken noodle soup. It was heavy on the dill which is why you have to be in the right mood to appreciate this dish. Varenyky- potato dumplings with lots of cheese. Usually good but definitely heavy on dill and a bit too cheesy for me. Would not get if you're sensitive to oil. Would recommend for those looking for new experiences, caution on taste profile which is more acquired taste but still good.

A sister restaurant to SEA, Roc Pho Shop started as an idea to branch off from traditional dishes…read moreand create more playful meals. It's the same cuisine but with a twist. Head chef Nalee Phommachanh had the vision alongside owner (and sister-in-law) Vilay Sysavath. The family- run business offers a diverse and authentic Southeast Asian menu, a quarterly rotating chef specials menu with paired rotating drinks, and a full-service bar with specialty Soju-based cocktails and other Asian-fusion beverages. My wife and I were in Rochester for a thrift show and wanted to grab some lunch. We love Vietnamese, pho is one of my favorite foods, so we decided to give them a try and we were glad we did. The restaurant is small and jam packed full of tables, but we were still able to be sat and given menus immediately around 2PM on a Saturday. We decided to order a bunch of things and share them. Obviously, we got a bowl of pho, along with an order of egg rolls, a chicken lemongrass plate, and a couple pf Thai teas. Our food took a bit to come, but it was pretty busy, and we were very happy with our food. Everything was delicious. The grilled chicken from the platter had awesome lemongrass flavor, the pho's broth was flavorful, the egg rolls were absolutely amazing, and the portions were huge - we had plenty to take home afterwards. Employees were friendly, prices were comparable to similar restaurants. We'd definitely go again if in the area.

Unsurprisingly, I originally visited to try the pho itself. While the pho is served with a plate of Thai basil, hoisin, siracha, sprouts and lime to add flavor, I'm still somewhat regularly disappointed in the lack of umami flavor in the broth itself. It lacks some depth. There are also times when my broth wasn't quite as hot as I would have wanted. Generally, the pho is fine... but there are better options around Henrietta and Rochester. Just something to keep in mind. I've had a variety of other dishes as well, and the pork banh mi is another that could use some improvement. In the couple times that I've had it, it seems to be very dry. I want a scrumptious banh mi with plenty of pickled veggies and a flavorful pork... but that isn't what I've experienced here. It's served with a broth on the side, and that's fine... but I want my flavor *IN* the sandwich... without having to use a broth as a substitute to add moisture to the meat or flavor to the sandwich. On a recent visit, I brought my mother. She ended up ordering the shrimp fried rice for her lunch, and, while the size was large (she ended up needing a takeout container to bring about half of it home), she found the dish to be lacking in flavor and components (noting that more vegetables might have been nice). During this visit, I also ordered the spicy cucumber salad for the first time... and also found *that* side lacking in flavor. There was an itsy bitsy amount of spice... but for something marked on the menu as spicy? It wasn't what I was expecting. Service was fine, and the overall ambience of the restaurant is inviting and clean. The entrance/exit can be a bit rough for cars that are a bit lower to the road... just something to be aware of.
