Baked goods by- Raquel Confections Bakery: Gluten-Free/Vegan Caramelized Onion Focaccia and other Gluten Free pastries.

Unique shop with a very cool and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is absolutely amazing! There is an array of quality items, from clothing, accessories, gifts, household items as well as a small cafe that offers coffee, tea and Gluten-Free pastries. This is truly a Brooklyn gem!

    Bagel with cucumber and cuke

1st bagel photo is from Wednesday (cream cheese and cuke abundant) 2nd photo is from today. Inconsistency is frustrating when you're paying above local prices for a small treat. Also the employee paused making the bagel, touched merchandise (specifically a try-on shoe) with the gloved hand, then went back to making the bagel.

Staff was kind, but this is the most foul chai latte I've ever had. Never tasted a chai that is extremely bitter.

Less than stellar attitude from staff and baked goods that taste like sawdust. Not a place I'll be revisiting.

SK makes amazing matcha and last time I was in, Yves helped me pick out a cute nightgown.

Pretty good prices and a lovely selection. I'm glad this small business is near my apartment. I…read morereally enjoy popping in for a look. I will coming back to again.

So I'm walking through Park Slope with my Dad after a lovely lunch on 5th Ave when I see a shop…read morecalled "Trailer Park." That doesn't happen too often, right? So without much thought at all I declared that we needed to go inside and started across the street. What could Dad say? He gave me a look that clearly said "you're weird" and followed me in. Once inside we were greeted by dozens of items that I swear are in my Grandfathers basement right now. Dad must have been reading my mind b/c he actually said "I think you're grandfather has a couple of those in the basement" while pointing to a set of vinyl suitcases. The entire store is filled, floor to ceiling, with vintage pieces of all sizes and shapes. Big ticket items like tables, chairs and trunks to smaller accessories of baskets & picture frames. The layout and arrangement made it hard to navigate the store and what was more confusing was the location (I think) of the cash register & counter area... It's hidden behind a huge pile of stuff so you can't even see the front door if you're sitting behind the counter. Oh and we were in the shop for a good ten minutes and I don't think I saw the owner/manager once. I though that was weird.. and I can't forget to mention- I found the store to have a bit of a musty smell... which makes sense if you think about the items inside. While I don't think I'd purchase anything it was a cool shop to walk through and brought back memories of Gramps. If you're looking for some nostalgia- stop by Trailer Park
