Before I say anything else about this place let me just discuss this: The first thing that I noticed about Berlyn 65 is that the shop smells exquisite! The owner made sure that there is this wonderful aroma as you walk into the place that tantalizes your senses and it made me very content and experience a sense of calm energy. This shop has some real goodies! My eyes were focused on the soft, elegant chair throws! This was so very true that I had to take a picture of the luxurious gray chair throw that is on a chair near the store entrance. The throw comes in a variety of colors and they were valued at $150. The shop decor is delightful which goes with the owner's peaceful energy that I felt was exuded towards me and my coworkers as we looked around Berlyn 65. She was pleasant, kind and displayed wonderful customer service. I will make sure that I return to view all of the great selection of items that are sold at Berlyn 65!

In fact, I recently discovered the shop itself as they hosted an outdoor vinyl sale, inviting other local vendors and collectors to sell directly outside their shop. It was a fantastic event under any circumstances, but in these days in particular felt like an inspired and ideal way to celebrate and embrace a communal NY spirit. I walked away with a nice mug for myself, a couple of surprise early holidays gifts off my list and, of course, some interesting new and used vinyl. And perhaps more importantly, a great day, and a fine new gift buying go-to!

So I checked out Wanderlustre's website and found a lovely pair of earrings that I thought my wife would be into. And I ordered them. Unfortunately, it turned out that I couldn't simply pick the earrings up at the Brooklyn shop; they were being shipped from the designer on the West Coast. And then wouldn't you know it, the designer messed up the address, and so the earrings would arrive too late, and I would look like the inconsiderate husband that I normally am but I really wasn't this time, I swear. Long story short, Katy went above and beyond to help me get these earrings for my wife by Christmas. So not only do they have a wonderful selection of curated gifts that my wife may or may not love (after many years, I'm still not great at being able to tell - see what I said about being an inconsiderate husband), but I love them, I love the service, and will continue to shop with Wanderlustre.
