When I went to purchase it, the employee took the card to the back for several minutes and then returned saying the owner had already sold it online. They weren't able to show the sold listing or provide any verification. Maybe it truly had sold elsewhere already, but the situation felt poorly handled and honestly damaged my trust as a longtime customer. Inventory mistakes happen, but transparency matters.

I will premise with: I have no clue about baseball, I played rugby and a bit of cricket, so made a total fool of myself but walked away laughing at my ineptitude ;). The event was well worth the prices, there were some vintners I 'knew' from the different events I've been attending the last couple months. The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.

Making Arizona their home in 1998, this team has shown so much heart. Since their debut, the Diamondbacks have won two Wild Card Series, five NL West division titles, two NL pennants, and the 2001 World Series. I remember watching them win the World Series in 2001. That feeling of pride was something I'll never forget and before 2023, I wondered if we'll ever get that feeling again. After beating the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 7 of the 2023 NLCS, the Arizona Diamondbacks returned to the World Series for the first time since 2001 against the Texas Rangers in October of 2023. They lost the series 4-1 at home in Arizona but I was proud of them. They weren't even supposed to be there! How can I be disappointed when I had counted them out prior to the wild card berth? And while we had a promising 2024, having scored the most runs in the 2024 season with 886, having the best on-base percentage, and were second in batting average and slugging percentage, they couldn't quite clench a spot but hey, here's to a stellar 2024 season. Proud Arizonan right here. I often say it's hard being an Arizona sports fan but I love me my Diamondbacks. Catch a live game if you can. It's always a fun time and our stadium has A/C and a retractable roof!

From day one, it was clear that support for beginners just isn't there. We asked multiple times for help using the batting cages since we're not baseball savvy, and each time were met with the same answer: "It's easy" or "Just put him in and figure it out." No explanation, no guidance, just major attitude. I felt like an inconvenience, not even a customer! We signed our son up for a summer camp hoping it would be a better, more structured experience. Unfortunately, it was just more of the same. At drop-off, staff couldn't find his name on the list and didn't have any formal check-in process. When we offered to walk him back (his first day!), we were told to just send him alone to "find the group." Once we found the group, it was hard to tell who was even in charge since there was no clear staff IDs or supervision. At pickup, we saw kids swinging bats way too close to each other with no one actively managing what was going on. Our son wanted to try the cages again, so we asked for help, this time from a front desk associate (white guy with a curled mustache), and we were once again met with a cold attitude. When we asked about private lessons that we'd be willing to pay for, his only response was "whatever" with no effort to explain how to sign up or get more info. What sealed it for us was the lack of any real safety measures. No one checked who was picking up kids. No sign-in or sign-out, no ID check ....nothing. That's a huge red flag for any parent. Our son wanted to love this place, and we really tried to give it a chance. But the lack of guidance, professionalism, and basic safety makes this a hard no for us. *** Update *** After raising these concerns, I received a call from the manager who firmly disagreed with my feedback. They insisted safety wasn't an issue because they do a safety brief with the kids and that staff did their best despite "doing a thousand other things." They also clarified that DBAT, like other batting cages, doesn't have someone available to help users, something that directly contradicts the impression given on their site and materials, given they list that there are instructors. Again if an instructor needs to be scheduled, the guidance and help of knowing who and what to book on the website would be the first step in providing a reasonable level of customer service. When I asked for a refund for the upcoming unused camp day, they declined and stood by their approach. I let them know the call was unproductive and that we were clearly in complete disagreement. At this point, we will not be returning. If you're new to baseball and looking for guidance or a welcoming environment for your child, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Took awhile to get thru once we passed the security check-in and were filtering down a few levels to get to the floor. Of course there were a ton of people and we were packed like sardines but the flow was smooth and people were patient. Once we got to our seats, we got situated and Leon Thomas was already midway as the opening act. There was a slight mixup as one chair, the "30th" seat was missing on our row and we ended up moving down one seat to our left as the group with the seating issue kept trying to figure it out. Some numbers were missing on our seats but mine was visible and we could verify where we were seated. Luckily, our seat neighbors were nice people and accommodating since there seemed to be an extra seat that was empty. When we first arrived, there were some people who sat near our seats that weren't supposed to be there but you know there's always one of those so they moved. It was fun and festive. The woman in front of us with her daughter was recording the whole time as well as the lone guy next to my cousin who was doing the same and singing to EVERY SONG, LOL!! Thankfully we never had to use the bathroom as we went during dinner right before the concert. There were Porta-Pottys on the floor level inside as your bathroom. Also, you couldn't take an actual canned drink inside. Attendants had you put them in a cup unless they weren't paying attention and you had your drink in your see-thru backpack like the guy in front of me walking in. Speaking of, you need to look at bag dimensions and restrictions prior to going to the events. I looked ahead of time and brought a clear, plastic purse within the allowed guidelines/dimensions. Acoustics were great, there was never a glitch, 2 large screens on the left and right of the stage were great for folks seated far away and were a great visual for close ups even for us. Security was effective and checkpoints at the entrances went smoothly. It was a bit crazy getting out of the stadium but we got out. Getting out of the parking lot was another story. It was a long, log-jam and some vehicles were impatient and nearly hitting other vehicles just to get in the line to get out! I think the parking guides and traffic monitors could've done better in an orderly and streamlined fashion. In any case, we had fun and luckily people inside were nice and courteous. This was my 2nd concert at this stadium and am well-pleased with the ambiance. It was just the parking lot situation that needs to be more efficient. Hopefully they worked it out the next evening since Bruno played 2 nights here.
