There are three restaurants in the Park I haven't been to yet but toured them and intend to make it to each a few times in 2027 season arriving a couple of hours before game time to enjoy a nice sit down meal at the Copper Club, Bourbon & Bones and Estrella Jalisco! Their website http://arizonacocktailweek.com lists a whole host of events (most at the Hotel Valley Ho.) Photos are from the Monday vendor event (you may purchase your "Cocktail Week" wristband at any BevMo or at the door at this event (even if you missed Sat and Sun which, regrettably , we did) ...2015 wristbands were $10. This wristband also gives you cocktail specials at participating Valley (Flag, Sedona too) bars and restaurants throughout the week. Other events held on the weekend vary in price and tickets are sold separately. 3. The Monday event was a feast of tasting and a wealth of knowledge. I cannot recommend it highly enough if you want to mingle with vendors, sample, and ask questions about their products. In addition, there were excellent promo items. My fave was St Germain's measuring beaker and coincidently, it's now my "2015 Summer cocktail." It's 2 parts sparkling water, 2 parts bubbly or dry white wine and 1.5 parts St. Germain. I'd recently become interested again in champagne and I delighted in the light taste when you add sparkling water and this elderflower liquer to some bubbly. Definitely poolside material! I was also re-introduced to Vermont's "Barr Hill" honey-based gin and vodka (by Caledonia Spirits) and an Iowa bourbon from Cedar Ridge. The former was prepared as a gin and tonic with a gorgeous natural garnish and I know it was fabulous because I'm not that much of a gin lover. The latter was prepared as a bourbon old-fashioned snow-cone. Excellent vendor tables and enthusiasm, I must say. I loved it that Tito's was there too and they were conjuring up some lavender lemonade. I've seen them around at Yelp events and I do enjoy Tito's. (Formerly a "Grey Goose" enthusiast was I.) Ain't that a crotch kick? I have told many of my out-of-state friends that Arizona sports fans have a high pain tolerance. We're practically masochists because it is ROUGH being an Arizona sports fan. As a born and raised Arizonan, I bare the bruises and defeats with as much grace as I can. I pretty much learned to never be too hopeful. I keep a healthy level of enthusiasm and expectation. That said, I love me my Suns. I loved them since the Dan Majerle days. I even have a Steve Nash jersey from when he was on the team. I bleed purple and orange for my Suns.

It was so fun and such a memorable experience. 100% recommend taking your kids to get autos, run around for pop flies and just enjoy the vibes. I wish I came here as a kid. If your thinking its going to be hot, just plan ahead with the weather and also book evening games. Scottsdale Stadium feels historic and just feels right! It felt like a true mini Giants stadium with merch stands, Giants decor, this is due to this being one of the very few stadiums that's not shared. Plenty of concessions with a variety of types of food too. The slope of grass in the back has a bunch of families set up with blankets to enjoy the game too. Overall easy to navigate!! Food was not too bad here too! They have some long hot dogs that a lot of people were getting. We got some island noodles that was okay, it was supposed to be soba noodles but it was basically just chicken chow mein. A tip for the stadium is that they have free refill stations so you can bring an empty water bottle to fill up!

Lines at the refreshment bars were long-ish and more expensive than I thought: a glass of wine in a paper cup was $18. The concert itself had me smiling a lot because the show itself was lights and opera and dancers, the violinist was superb, the orchestra director fantastic as were the Italian musicians. I have adored Bocelli and his incredible voice since his "Romanza" album came out, and seeing him live was such a treat for me, so I can also admit to have a bit of a crush on him. So enthralled by Andrea and the entire concert that I forgot to note the names of everyone else ... The venue is huge, stadium big; there is a covered walkway from the parking garage across the street, where parking was chock full: too few ADA spots and we ended up on the open terrace at the top. We were planning on going around the vendor stalls in the entrance area but didn't see any open after the concert. We had been at this venue (before the name change) and parked in the VIP area, making it quicker to enter, but the walk from the garage parking was a short one. Overall it was a great evening and fantastic concert. The seats were not the comfiest, with the back straight and very little leg room to boot, hard to cross legs and change position, but the seat backs had a holder for our drinks. This seat came with a semi-private booth, unlimited food and soft drinks from a buffet, and wine and beer as well. This felt like the ultimate VIP experience and the view was great as well. The sound was well balanced for the concert and the lights and effects were coordinated well too. I didn't partake this time because of the included buffet, but in walking around I was really impressed with all the dining options- local restaurants included instead of just the regular hot dogs and popcorn. The only downside is that due to the location, parking was hard to find/crowded and expensive. But that's downtown Phoenix for you. I'd return to this venue for another event for sure

The biggest downside was how crowded and congested everything felt. We also saw several people sitting in seats they hadn't purchased, which caused frustration when the actual ticket holders asked them to move. Some became argumentative, making the seating areas even more crowded. I did notice the stadium has a number you can text if there's an issue, which I thought was a great idea. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the energy of the game!

Previously called Sun Devil Stadium until 2023, Arizona State University's Mountain America Stadium…read moreis a special place to be when visiting the ASU Tempe Campus. It is home to the ASU Sun Devil football team, which just switched from the Pac 12 Conference to the Big 12 Conference this past year. The stadium seats more than 53,000 fans, which decreased from almost 75,000 fans in 2018. This stadium used to host the Fiesta Bowl or the Cactus Bowl every year for many years. It was also home to at the Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Cardinals over the years. I was in the Mountain America Stadium last night for ASU's annual Sun Devil Welcome and Infernofest, two start-of-the-year events that welcome students to ASU. I also previously attended the Change the World event, where students competed for scholarships by sharing their pitches and displays to "change the world" over the course of the evening. ASU also hosts other events from graduation ceremonies (at the end of the academic year), Pat's Run, and even employee appreciation barbecues. There is also the ASU 365 Community Union events, which include the movies on the field, stadium yoga, and Sparky's Fairway (see my photo). In addition to the many concerts held there (U2, Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, Eagles, and George Strait to name just a few), the stadium has also welcomed the Pope, President Obama, A lot of fans have been talking up how they have been impressed with the recent renovations from the updated entrance area to new vendors to the massive screen. In fact, it's been said to have been less of a renovation and more of a reconstruction from the ground up. A new 12,000 square foot club area was added on the 300 level on the east side, which is now enclosed and air conditioned with a beer garden above. The nearby light rail also has elevated the experience for football attendees nowadays. The stadium is a great place to be for many different sorts of events, though for being more than 65 years old, it looks great!! I certainly recommend it.

Friendly customer service from all the workers..but most importantly. It was a fun function. Walking down and looking at all the booths and bringing me back to when I was kid. The things I'd collect and wear. This was an awesome event. Glad I was able to take part in it. Thank you Thriftapalooza! And thank you AE & State Fair for a great event...until again yelpers...

3.20.26 - Was excited for this event! Purchased the early bird tickets for $13 each so that wasn't…read morebad at all. I attended this event last year and the lines weren't too bad that time. Place seemed brighter and livelier last year. It was also a bit more busy too. This year, it was pretty empty. Lines were short though so that was a good thing. It was hot out on this particular weekend. Wish they would plan these outdoor events during the cooler months. I just had to come back again for a few specific items. Unfortunately, the oysters from Nola Oysteria were a bit overcooked and dry this year. Chili wontons from Zindrew were also better last time. They were also hot (spicy) last time. This time, it was just mild (1 friend can't handle hot). I ended up buying a jar of Zindrew's hot chili oil to take home. Sooo good! Pho soup dumplings were delicious!! I wanted 2 more trays of it! My friend liked the bone marrow. They liked the katsu chicken sando too. My lychee tea was refreshing. My friend got a giant mango drink in the animal jugs but it came with little to no ice!! Was not worth $25 for it. My only regret was not purchasing any dessert to eat or take home this time.
