Rattlers on their way to a big win.
    Jeff B.

Arizona Rattlers play at Talking Stick Arena downtown at 3rd St and Jefferson. They are in the Western Conference and have won three of the last four Arena Bowl Championships and five overall. The Rattlers are led by Kevin Guy, an outstanding coach with a creative game plan. He calls the plays from the field but when he gets a big lead (which happens often) he lets he OC take over the play calling, giving him the experience. Our quarterback, Nick Davila, is a multiple MVP and leads the dynamic offense. Jamie Dukes and Jeremy Kellem are the star defenders. We have led the league in offense for five years and are in the top five for defense every year as well. Ticket prices are fair and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Go out and support your local AFL team. You'll witness high powered football and high energy crowds.

I love watching the AZ Rattlers. We've become big fans since moving to Phoenix. The games are super exciting and you can get real close to the action. Plus in 2011 they went to the Arena Bowl and lost at the last second....did that stop them? No, they went back to the Arena Bowl and won! They're the reigning AFL Champions and are doing well again this year. We always look forward to attending a game and the tickets are relatively cheap. They're always running deals for local residents on tickets. Our Son and his friends love to come an watch a game and we'll get tickets 5 to 10 rows from the field so they feel like they're part of the action. The players interact with the fans and if the ball flies into the stand during the game, you can keep the ball just like baseball! It's pretty cool. We have a collection of balls that we've caught from all of the games we've attended. The quality of football is pretty good too. Both teams score a lot of points and there's always action on the field. We're big fans of the Rattlers! Return Factor - 100%

3rd quarter of game they decide the section we were in should be closed . They made probably 100 people move. So stupid!

Fast pace fun. Tons of scoring! Nice and cool inside. They are winners! The most winning professional franchise in Arizona.

Plus, at the end of the game they let us go down onto the field and get autographs of the players and cheerleaders.

Somebody open a window because it's about to get smug in here…read more I don't want to see the Arizona Diamondbacks getting anything besides five-stars because this is truly a fifty-star team! Making Arizona their home in 1998, this team has shown so much heart. Since their debut, the Diamondbacks have won two Wild Card Series, five NL West division titles, two NL pennants, and the 2001 World Series. I remember watching them win the World Series in 2001. That feeling of pride was something I'll never forget and before 2023, I wondered if we'll ever get that feeling again. After beating the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 7 of the 2023 NLCS, the Arizona Diamondbacks returned to the World Series for the first time since 2001 against the Texas Rangers in October of 2023. They lost the series 4-1 at home in Arizona but I was proud of them. They weren't even supposed to be there! How can I be disappointed when I had counted them out prior to the wild card berth? And while we had a promising 2024, having scored the most runs in the 2024 season with 886, having the best on-base percentage, and were second in batting average and slugging percentage, they couldn't quite clench a spot but hey, here's to a stellar 2024 season. Proud Arizonan right here. I often say it's hard being an Arizona sports fan but I love me my Diamondbacks. Catch a live game if you can. It's always a fun time and our stadium has A/C and a retractable roof!

Been a fan since the team moved here…read more The first 5 seasons, I would ride my bike over to Sun Devil Stadium and get tickets from scalpers if I didn't already secure some from friends. Then my wife and I bought our season tickets in 1993, and we have been enjoying gameday experiences ever since. Of course, the new stadium was a big change, and we have seen so many fun games at the new place. We enjoy the cooler weather to start the seasons but wish the roof was open more than it has been. The whole point of the roof was to provide us with a cool place to play in the hottest months when the seasons start. Then it is supposed to be open the rest of the time. Playing in the building with the roof closed when the outside weather is beautiful makes no sense. Football is generally supposed to be played outdoors, IMHO. Kind of stuffy to play it in an industrial building with a closed roof. We have met many new friends since the games shifted over to Glendale and still see many friends from the SDS days. There's just something about the gameday experience and supporting the Cards in person that a big screen TV at home cannot compete with. Love that they have added some better drink options over the years so we can drink some non-soda drinks, like lemonade and Vitamin Water. Great popcorn deals as well. See you at a game soon and best of luck on the 50/50 drawing.

The organization assigned me three different customer service representatives in one year but I could not rely on any of them to follow up and keep me updated about my purchase. After I had placed a deposit on tickets, I was told by the sales agent that I could have four ADA-compliant seats - but when I went back to select them, there were none. Rather than finding us a solution, they asked if my daughter could walk down stairs. This violates the accessibility guidelines. When I asked for a refund because of the misleading information provided to me, they told me that there were no exceptions to their no-refund policy. I was provided a workaround: my daughter would sit in a separate section (section 106) while the other three of us sat in different sections. However, for many of the games, that section was occupied by individuals who did not appear to have mobility issues, and the staff refused to do anything about it. Now we have asked for a refund for credit owed, and the last correspondence was 3/18. Save your money.

They're laid back and a fun social event. Since moving to Arizona a little over a year ago, I finally got around to checking out my first Diamondbacks Game with a group on a Tuesday evening at Chase Field. One of the downsides of this venue is that it's downtown. Which means parking isn't going to be easy. I pre-purchased parking for a decent price. If you're looking for parking when you arrive close to the stadium, you're going to get gouged by parking lots and garages with their event rates. If you're lucky, and you're willing to walk a little bit, you might be able to find some free street parking. That's what I'm going to try next time around. Now, let's get to the good stuff. Getting into the stadium was a breeze. There wasn't a line and you walk through metal detectors where you don't have to take anything out of your pockets. Always a plus. Once I got in, I was excited to check out another baseball stadium. Even though Chase Field was built a while back, the stadium is well maintained and looks newer than it is. We sat in the Banner Health area which is center field. Fantastic seats with great views of the game. The weather was perfect so they had the retractable roof open. When it's too hot (those Phoenix summers hit), they close the roof. Like most venues, you're going to be paying for overpriced food and drinks. That's no different here. I walked around the entire stadium to check out all of the food options. It's mostly your standard fare, and an assortment of mediocre chain restaurants. I wish the food options were a bit better (Minute Maid Stadium in Houston has better food options hands down). I ended up going with some honey chicken fries (loaded fries with hot honey chicken, bacon, and chives) from Four Point Brewing. While the fries had been pre-made and were lukewarm, they were quite good for stadium food. Good portion size too. Probably one of the star food options at Chase Field. Swing batter batter, swing!
