This used to be my wife and my go-to place every Friday. However, the changes in their salsa recipe have made us check out other opportunities. I've been to most locations of this place, and each location seems a little worse than the last. The staff will make your food cold then make an excuse and not take it back/refund it (even if you haven't eaten it). The salsa sucks too. The restaurant itself is loud and awkward too. I had questions about the menu, and he just made it extremely hard for me to understand the menu and find what I really wanted. He was very impatient and rude. Covid has not been kind to this place. Everything tastes worse than before. The "margaritas" they served us last time were not margaritas. They are doing some massive cost cutting somewhere. What they served tasted like it was 2 parts water, 1 part store bought mix (to give it a slight hint of marg), and 1 part rubbing/grain alcohol. I felt sick almost immediately. I'm assuming these are mixed in a large trash can in the back, as it took almost 30 minutes for them to show up. Have probably been here a dozen times. This will be the last. Thankfully there are some other superior texmex places opening up nearby soon. Perhaps that will encourage them to sort their lives out. read more

Always fun and food is good! I love that they have mole on their menu. I wish the Chile relleno was the traditional preparation which is egg batter dipped and fried instead of the grilled pepper. We've had just about everything on the menu. My husband's go to ate the street tacos and I like the mole or the fajitas. They are great about special requests like extra vegetables. The margaritas are legit too! Chips and salsa and the bonus bean dip is always welcomed at our table. Their queso is not the best I've ever had but it's decent. Pretty rough... I called about 5 minutes before we arrived to see if patio was available and they said "there is no wait now for patio seating". Upon arriving we were told it's a 10 minute wait for inside and outside alike... When they did give us our table they took two empty margarita glasses from the table, left the two dirty menus and told us to sit. They never came by to wipe it down! Yum! Love their food! Love their margaritas! The place has the perfectly cozy Tex-Mex atmosphere and the staff is great. Only had one order messed up because it wasn't cooked enough, the nachos, but they fixed it right away! Management is always walking around checking on you so no one is ever neglected. I love taking my iPad here and plopping into a booth and just hanging out while I eat.
